Placed an order paid for shipping

Placed an order paid for shipping. This is going on 2 weeks. They are evidently a Dropship company they do not keep things in stock they have no control over it. I'm on a refund because I can't seem to get the exhaust I need for a customer. They are making my business look terrible now I'm having a hard time getting a refund. Do not deal with this company go elsewhere do not trust them do not trust any good reviews because evidently they are from people that are not knowledgeable I am a five star shop owner. We picked cars we take care of our customers. We are extremely happy with our five star shop. We will not deal with this one star shop

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! I should have learned the first time. 2 different orders. oth never shipped and after a month of trying to contact customer service I finally got a refund. Second order I have email 5 times answered 4 emails about "How would you rate our service" I left 2 voice messages and if no answer by tomorrow I will contact my cedit card company.

Do not order from them unless you use PayPal or a credit card company so can cancel the payment when they do not ship your item(s)

Bought CF hood for FR-S/BRZ/86

Bought a CF hood from them, shipping time was fair for being a big item. The cost was a little higher than market however they were the only company who could ship in a short period. The box arrived extremely damaged and the final-mile courier stayed and waited for me to open it in case it needed to be rejected. No damage on the hood, wrapped securely, however I could definitely see instances where damage could easily occur.

What customer service?

In June of 2025, I placed an order for Raxiom tail light trim. I received an email a day or so later that it had an estimated ship date in July. That date kept being pushed back until I finally canceled the order on March 2nd of 2026. On 3/11/26, I received an email stating that the status of my order had changed to "refund pending". As of today, 5/1/26, I have yet to receive a refund and Vivid customer support has completely stopped responding to my emails. All over a measly $55 that they owe me. I ended up filing a BBB complaint due to this. Just give my damn money back.

Shady business. Stay away.

Don't Trust VividRacing

I ordered TC4's early March 2026 from Vivid Racing. I actually spoke on the phone with Vivid Racing prior to ordering and they confirmed they had the wheels in stock.
Shortly after I ordered the wheels, they updated my "Orders" to show the wheels were being shipped from Japan on July 15, 2026. I called the person I ordered from and was told it was incorrect, I would receive them end of April.
About a week ago I spoke with my salesman again and he told me he would call the supplier. He then called me back and told me he confirmed I will receive them late May 2026 as they are on the ship currently.
Last night I receive a random email from Vivid saying they reached on to the manufacturer and the wheels will ship (From Japan) on August 3, 2026 and this morning I checked and they changed my "Orders" from July 15 to August 3.
This is such an unreliable company. They take your money and make false promises. They literally have no clue as to when items will ship because they are a dropship company and I doubt they even keep any stock at all. Don't trust Vivid Racing!!!
If anything changes I will update my review. But for now they are a 1 star (because I can't give no stars) company.

Horrible product and service

Horrible product and service. Had to pay 2 months in advance for garbage headlights for my 4 runner. Finally got them installed, washed my truck wit a garden hose, and they filled with water. I definitely learned my lesson not to buy from this company. And don’t trust their ( online rating ) I create websites, and can make myself look great! 💩ty service, and inferior product

Terrible customer service

Waited over a year for my carbon fiber dash for my S14, finally arrived and it wasn't even close to fitting correctly. I reached out over a dozen times, never got resolved, now im stuck with a dash and out $2,500.

Ordered #105125 front bumper cover

Ordered #105125 front bumper cover. It arrived late and is of extremely poor quality. My bodyshop looked at and said it does not fit. The lower spoiler does not fit the bumper cover all. I was met with a lot resistance at customer service. I sent a lot pictures of how bad this part and I was still stonewalled. I am Completely not satisfied with part or customer service and am pursuing legal actions to rectify the situation.

They do not accept returns at all, their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with in 35 years if buying high performance car parts

Do not do buisness with this garbage company Vivid Racing. To start with they never sent me a confirmation email then they send the wrong parts, I ordered carbon fiber turbo inlets for a 2021 X5 M and they send inlets for a 2023 X5 M when I entered 2021 BMW X5 M Competition in their website, I even had to chat them and asked if they had recieved my order and what was going on with the order for the turbo inlets for the 2021, I had to hqve them send a chat transcript to my email so I had proof of purchase, we spotted they were the wrong ones as soon as we opened the box and I contacted them, they didnt say or ask any questions just automatically refused to exchange or refund them, definitely take your buisness somewhere else that takes care if their customers, dont say i didnt warn you, stay far far away from Vivid racing.

Terrible customer service and product

In the roughly 10 years been in business have not dealt with a distributor as terrible as this one, and the sad part it’s more of the product that they sell and don’t stand behind. The other side of it is the piss poor customer service. Been dealing with a warranty issue on FLATOUT SUSPENSION coilovers since October 2025, these are parts that Vivid seems to advertise a decent amount for on this company. We had a customer request coilovers for their Subaru and Flatout was the only company that offered options but In hindsight was the worst choice, Flatout will not respond to emails for a week plus and then finally got to a point where they completely stopped responding, Vivid got involved and response times were not much better, would typically take anywhere from 3-5 days to get a response. After Flatout completely lied about multiple claims on this entire process, Vivid Racing continues to stand behind this company, no other vendor we have ever dealt with would leave a dealer high and dry. They were given multiple opportunities to fix the issue or make it right and they fell short every time. After more research this is unfortunately not a 1 time issue, digging around forums and trying to get some type of product support or possible resolves and I found 8 other people that have had similar experiences between these 2 companies. Stay away from Flatout Suspension and stay away from Vivid racing unless you want to waste 5+ months of your time if you need any type of warranty work

Vivid Racing sent me the wrong part and would not exchange it!! A $300 Sway bar. It was totally their mistake. Buy beware!!! Google it for yourself!!

The VR branded exhaust is excellent

The VR branded exhaust is excellent. With that being said the delivery was very poor. The exhaust was delivered to a completely different address, box damaged, etc.

Great product

Great product. highly recommended. FJ Cruiser back bumper diamond plated guards. they look RADICAL everyone is like dang buddy were did you get those. i tell them VIVID RACING.

Customer Service Lacking Update #2

Ordered two parts that need to be used together. Can't use one without the other. Was told both were shipping on Monday and I would receive them Friday. The box arrived Sunday. Only one of the parts was in the box. Contacted them the next Monday and they said the other part is back ordered and they don't know when it will ship. I told them to cancel the order and send me a return label for the part they sent. So far they won't send a return label and want me to pay shipping for both directions. I have reversed the charges on my card and am still trying to get the return label. They really don't seem to care that the messed up. They just want to push the cost onto me.

UPDATE:

I called the number in their reply to my review today. Spoke with Ems. She apologized for my experience, said they were aware of all the bad reviews, said the company had a mew owner as of a month ago and they were working to resolve the issues with the company. She said she would send a prepaid return label and make sure I got a full refund for everything. I asked her to confirm this in writing. Later today I received the below email:

"Hey Ken,

Thank you for giving me a call. My apologies for the frustration that you expirenced. This is definitely not how I intend for our business to run.

As agree'd upon, I will get you a prepaid return label and work on getting these parts returned to you, at no cost to you. Once returned, we will process a full refund for your order.

In the meantime, would you mind pulling down your TrustPilot review?

As you stated you started a claim with your bank, once the return is completed we will not be able to process a refund until the chargeback, or claim is closed.

I replied that I would update the review as we want through the process and that the bank never let's someone get both a reversed charge and a refund. They monitor for that and automatically correct it if it happens.

Todays update is that I have yet to receive the prepaid return label.

Finally got my full refund. Not an easy process. You definitely have to keep on them and double check everything. They routinely send auto generated emails that don't apply or make no sense.

I have increased my review to two stars because I no longer think they are running a scam. It is just poor execution, unskilled employees and a company trying to make a buck by not really doing anything.

Their telecommunicators are from India. I made an order and it got canceled and I got charged 3400 from a fraud charge.

Poor service slow and can’t resolve issue they created

Poor service. Slowest shipping and no follow up. I emailed to cancel order after waiting to long to get product or shipping info. Slow email responses. Finally I installed a different product and the vivid order was at my house when I got home. Then they wanted me to pay shipping both ways and me lose money on shipping or be stuck with a product I no longer need because they can’t run a business well
