Their sizes are a way off - ordered lamb shanks which were supposed to feed 2 people each, and a pichana which was supposed to feed 4. I was very disappointed compared to other online resellers I’ve used previously

Lamb shanks are individual serving sizes, pichana would do 2-3 people - now headed to a local butchers to buy additional meat to make up the difference

Delivery fast on time,well packaged the meat looks absolutely amazing. Used Farmison before never been disappointed. You know where the meat has come from which is important these days

I have made many orders in the past from Farmison and always been very happy until now. I ordered a special 2kg piece of rolled sirloin for roasting. When it came it was very long and thin more the shape of a fillet. It was 10cm at its widest. I took this up with Farmison and they told me that it was a good representation of this cut! I won’t be ordering again as I’ve had to go out and buy another piece of meat which is more fit for purpose

I know, I know, I'm old - (70 in 7 days time)........but I can still remember the meat that I ate as a child, bought by my mother from Arthur - a local butcher in the 1960s in Hebden Bridge (Yorkshire).

It tasted wonderful!

Most of my adult life was spent buying meat from supermarkets & bemoaning the lack of taste & the toughness compared to the meat of my childhood.

Then I discovered Farmison meat.

BOOM!

(See - the body of a 70 year old - the mind of a 20 year old).

Seriously - their meat is amazing. You have to pay more than you would pay for supermarket meat - but the "more" is so well worth it. All the cuts that I have received from Farmison, in my five orders have have always exceeded my expectations with regard to taste & succulence!

I am sure this is down to two main factors:
1) The farmers rearing these heritage breed beasts don't have a conveyor belt approach.
2) The Farmison butchers know their stuff & know that proper meat needs to be hung.

Finally - if you spend enough - delivery is free. Deliveries arrive on time & are very well packaged.

I have tried nearly every meat from farmison and wow you can definitely taste the difference in quality. I only buy my main meat delivery from farmison and recommend them to everybody

Superb quality of everything I’ve bought so far. It’s all free range, outdoor reared, named breeds etc.

The sausages were the best my family ever tasted (I don’t eat them, but family members rave about them). The beef is absolutely brilliant, and so is everything we’ve tried so far. The website is easy to use, and delivery is speedy and efficient.

I have placed two orders with this company now, and been grossly mislead by the experience.

I first ordered two lamb legs sous vide. The website describes it as "Lamb leg roast - sous vide" Nowhere on the main page did it indicate that this was a small portion of lamb leg. It implies that it is a whole lamb leg, so I was gutted when it arrived and found that it weighed only 500g. Admittedly, if I'd really concentrated, when I put it into my basket the weight was indicated. If I'd been really switched on, I would have checked the average weight of a leg of lamb and worked out that the portion for sale on their website was very small (although the price was about right for a whole leg with most other grass fed lamb online butcher). I was also sent a bag of mutton pieces instead of my second so called leg of lamb.

I called their customer care dept, and a very helpful man sent out a lamb shoulder for me, to replace the bag of mutton that Farmison had sent out to me. Again, I assumed from the description on their main web page, and the picture on their initial landing site webpage..... that it would be a whole shoulder. I remember asking their member of staff if it was a whole shoulder (having been stung once by this company), and I'm sure he reassured me that it was, or I would have gone elsewhere for the price, although I also remember him saying that it weighed 1kg. When it arrived today, I was gutted to find that again, it was a very small portion of shoulder.

I called their customer care department again, and the long and short of it, was that I was called back later by a very understanding manager, whom I was able to discuss my issue with, and who solved my problem to my satisfaction.

I will bear in mind in future, that although the quality of the meat is probably very high, it comes with an extremely high price tag too.

Meat is great, delivery reliable

Wonderful melt in the mouth, tender and tasty meat.

Great produce delivered within a one hour time slot.

Delivery on time.
Puddings were delicious & a great size.
The quality & flavour of the lamb was amazing.
We were disappointed with the chicken Kiev not sure if it was because we used the air fryer but they were very dry.

I have been a loyal customer of Farmison for sometime ,but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I placed an order at 08:42 in the morning at the end of January and went through the usual checks of name, address etc. as I have many times before. However, my delivery did not arrive as expected.
When I called Farmison to enquire about the missing delivery I was told they had the wrong house number on the delivery information. They blamed me for not spotting this error in the copy of the order they emailed me despite the rest of the order being correct. This felt unfair as it was a simple mistake that should have been easily rectified by Farmison,
I have contacted Farmison on numerous occasions to resolve this but I am still without my order or the meat I paid for. I used to trust Farmison for their quality products and reliable service, but this experience has seriously damaged that trust.
I hope Farmison can improve there service and take better care of their loyal customers in future

As with a previous reviewer, was delivered a couple of sinewy sirloin steaks, no comment from them regarding my complaint on their website, pretty awful customer service.

I was gifted a meat package for a birthday,having purchased previously and been satisfied with the quality I was so disappointed to cook what looked like a nice steak to find it full of sinew.I photographed the parts inedible and sent to Farmison for comment.They never had the decency to reply.Never again.Customer service stinks.
