Good Food and Good Husbandry
I am proud to be one of Field and Flower’s ‘herd’. The meat and fish is excellent. If money gets tighter I would rather buy less meat and fish than that which is less ethically sourced, damages the environment and leaves the land impoverished . 
The best possible husbandry is not compromised for greater profit but it does cost more. On Field and Flower’s website there are items that help customers to keep costs down. Some of these are not available at all in the supermarkets. A pork knuckle, for instance, looks all bone but has a surprising amount of meat on it not to mention the delicious broth. We love it with split peas or other pulses like haricot beans. Smoked salmon off-cuts and diced salmon are cheaper than the fillets. The latter in sauce with pasta makes a more economical and tasty fish meal.
You cannot put a price on renewed faith in human nature and a sense of belonging to a family of like minded people. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Best rack of lamb ever

We have had a fee deliveries now and the latest delivery we had ordered a couple of small racks of lamb.
I have to say that they were the tastiest racks we have ever had.
The texture and taste was superb!

First subscription box received

I'm very satisfied with the quality of the meat , fish and cheese that I purchased from Field and Flower. They offer a very diverse selection of meats, ranging from everyday prices to more celebratory cuts. You can select the number of weeks between your deliveries and change the products as you wish. Which is unusual for a subscription.

Corrupt and very dishonest 4 Lies told

I was seduced with 30% OFF my 1st 3 orders and Spoke to Staff on phone and asked them to ensure that both 3 for the price of 2 cheese promotions were on the order, only once I received my order they had decided to only give one promotion. The Lying staff then said I would be refunded the difference, for which I haven't received. I then went to ensure that both promotions were on my 2nd order, at this point I noticed that they had removed the 30% discount. So I decided that they're too dishonest to trade with, so I attempted to close my account, but found it's not possible unless you contact them to ask permission. So I tried to remove my payment details, to prevent them allowing anymore deliveries to be sent. However it's not possible to remove your card details, without handing them alternative details.
I found this people to be very dishonest as they prioritise the companies interests before the customer.
Be vigilant and check your order multiple times before delivery.
Demand your refunds as these women lie through their.

A journey well worth taking

OK, first things first - F&F have been around a while. What they have been doing however is reading the room as their current offerings suggest - evolving to suit a budget rather than just positioning themselves as an exclusive provider, as some of their competitors have done.

So why only 4 stars? Packaging..... 4 orders over Christmas came in 4 boxes.....the combined order could have come in one big box. They say it's because it's down to working to order numbers, I think there's room to explore better ways to do it, to save on what must be expensive packaging which would help keep costs down even more.

Now, product - I've been a customer for several years now, on and off. Never had a short order. Never had a replacement put in when something wasn't available.
Quality has been excellent from day one and whilst some of our earlier purchases were a bit hit and miss our purchasing has evolved to reflect our understanding of the products and how to cook them for best results.

It's very much a partnership, asking questions and getting feedback, and as such it is a learning curve, but it's a journey I'm very glad to have been a part of and look forward to many more years of doing the same.

The very best bronze Frenchbeer turkey

In 2024 I purchased a 8+kg free range bronze Frenchbeer turkey from Field & Flower and I wasn’t disappointed. On opening the box I could see that it had been reared with love and it was the best plucked and cleaned turkey I could ever remember. Needless to say, it tasted divine, most certainly not dry and none went to waste. It was so tasty that I ordered the same bird for Christmas 2025 and it arrived in the same fabulously plucked and clean state as the previous year. I followed the instructions in the cooking guide supplied by Field & Flower, used the popup timer and covered it in a bacon lattice for the final 30 minutes before resting and the meat was some of the tastiest I have ever had. I will be ordering again for Christmas 2026.

Ordered for first time with this company we bought a free range turkey joint for just the two of us . Arrived as booked cooked as per instructions to the tee and it was as dry as can be with an unappetising red patch going through the cooked joint .

We ordered a ham for Christmas

We ordered a ham for Christmas, 2 months in advance, only to receive an uncooked ham with a jar of honey on Christmas eve.
We were then told we could cook it ourselves, which in of itself would have only been relatively irritating, but it was Christmas eve! In fairness to them, they did refund us straight away.

I am very sorry that you faced a substitution on Christmas Eve. We apologise for any inconvenience and disapointment caused. Even at Christmas, all of our products are sourced fresh to order and this can be challenging for our supply team.

As we try our best to provide exceptional service during our peak season, some factors (like relying on our suppliers and couriers) can be outside of our control. We attempted to substitute your Ham with a larger Gammon and a glaze. Although this would have required cooking, we had hoped that the outcome would have been a better quality product. We also offered a full refund for the product that we were unable to source for you.

We are very sorry that this outcome did not match expectations, and for any disapointment caused on Christmas Eve. I hope that you are able to enjoy the Gammon over the Christmas/New Year period at some point, and the refunded money will be back in your account within 1-3 working days.
