I had a sales assistant called louise serve me in the huddersfield branch she was kind helpful and very attentive. She was quick at serving and is friendly she knows how to serve customers with a smile.

I wanted to write a good review here-I really did. I am a big proponent of humanely treated and grass fed animals. I tried the combo box for $199.00 Here is what the email promised:

I fully expected an ox tail and a combo of slow cooker foods. What I received was no ox tail and all beef shanks save one roast. Sorry guys, this is deceptive. I wrote in and was told that their food is "heavily discounted". $199.00 for shanks is not heavily discounted. If you don't really care about what you get, please patronize this company. I am staying with Butcher Box where for less than $199.00 I get a good choice of good grass fed, grass finished meat.

Update-I want to be fair here. I cooked the beef shanks in the slow cooker and they were really delicious! Which makes me even more frustrated that I wasn't given what was promised. I think I would have been a continuing customer, but once you are lied to and the company never admitted its mistake, it's kind of hard to feel that it won't happen again. A

The first order I got from them was great. I ordered pork chops, side pork and sliced uncured bacon. It all came with labels and the amount in lbs on how much each package weighed so I thought I would try their seafood next time.
They were offering a discount so I decided to check out the king salmon.
It did not state how it was packaged so I got on the chat and the girl told me it was in filets but not sure of the size and then she showed me a picture of the company they get their fish from so I went on Tony and Heathers Sustainable seafood website and they have a great family run business.
So when I clicked on the king salmon under the photo there was a details and it said all their fish comes from Tony and Heathers fishery. They even had a clickable bio for that company so I felt great ordering especially since it was helping a small business.
So yesterday my order arrived. There had to be 10 lbs of ice on top and underneath there was a whole side of salmon.Not in filets at all and no label with the type of salmon or the weight. In fact the only thing on it was a label saying to take out of the plastic and thaw in fridge. I had no plan to thaw out a whole half of salmon and I do not even know if I got king salmon or coho. At least it did smell fresh when I took it out of the package. I had ordered 2 pieces of halibut as well but again no label with type of fish or weight.
So I went to call farmfoods but found out they have no phone number which is pretty strange these days so I went on the chat.
I said it did not look like I got the right fish etc. long story short 45 minutes later of going back and forth with them and all they did was try to make excuses I threatened to call my credit card and put in a dispute.
Then I went on Tony and heathers site and sent them an email asking if they are still supplying Farmfoods with seafood and they said not since Feb of 2020 so I knew I definitely did not receive the fish I expected.
I told them that they have all their info still on the website so they said they were going to make sure they removed it immediately.
I got another email from farmfoods and they told me the fish came from E&E wholesale seafoods and that I could thaw the salmon and cut it into filets myself. That was their resolution to my issue so I had to end up calling the credit card and submit a dispute as I definitely felt I was misled with the fish I had ordered.
It is too bad cause their pork is really good but I can find another supplier that seems to care more about being honest and concerned about their customers.

The rabbits I ordered were fresh and delicious. I would recommend them to others and their customer service was very good and timely as well.

Extremely disappointed with my purchase of the Game Sausage Sampler for $99. Most certainly not worth it and I will never order from Farm Foods again. The details for the sampler says: It contains a variety of sausages:

You are guaranteed to get at least four different sausages from the list above...Sounds good, right?
So I received 3 Buffalo, 2 Merguez, 2 Wild Boar, and 1 Elk. They weigh in total a little less than 6 pounds - that is $16.50 per sausage 4 pack that weighs a .75 pound! And where is my game variety? You know, duck, venison, pheasant, duck foie gras?! I can buy buffalo in my supermarket for a heck of a lot less! The shipping also took 6 days and the dry ice was completely gone by the time I got the package leaving the sausages still cold but not frozen. This just was not even close to worth what I paid and from now on I will buy from a more reputable dealer.

The website claims 2 to 3 day delivery …. NOT TRUE , I ordered 5 days in advance to have plenty of time to prepare my brisket for Father’s Day …. Well now I’m forced to buy a brisket from my local butcher….

Ordered 1/8 cow. mar 2021. used their promo code. received 40 pound ground beef dated 6.18.20. 9 MONTHS OLD. ALL THE Roasts were large beef bottom heel or cold shoulder. the toughest cuts of meat on the cow Not a chuck anything in the realm of an edible pot roast. Contacted vendor nothing. Old burger ugh. not worth the 850$+. also got some ribeye and a few filet. only tried the ribeye so far (so busy trying to eat all that old burger.), they are ok.

My experience was great! Prices and quality were excellent! It was also great to have a quality meat option that didn't require a subscription. And the styrofoam packaging protected my shipment from the rain that happened before I got home from work.

I ordered 1/8 of a cow, it did specify I would be getting more ground beef than anything else, however, the steaks I did get were full of fat not even worth trying to cut the fat off before cooking. Every single piece of steak just fat. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog! Nevermind I only received 6 pieces of steak, ONE roast(again filled with so much fat we couldn't even enjoy that, and 15 packs of ground beef. SO NOT worth the over 500$ I spent. Shameful.

Very pleased with purchase and fast delivery. Originally, delivery was quoted for 2 week time frame, but received my order in 4 days. I purchased 2 orders of the Grass Fed Wagyu Pack. In the picture, it displays ribeyes and NY strips, but I received 2 NY strips and about 6 packs or ground beef. Not sure if the picture was incorrect or I got the wrong order. The product is still quality and happy to get it, but clarification should be made on the image of product or there was a possible mistake in shipping.

Online ordering was a breeze. Shipped in a timely manner with the contents frozen solid! It came with helpful cooking instruction and the product was amazing. Will order again!

I absolutely love farm foods. I'm so happy I googled "farm foods" and found this gem. They have great selection, deliver fantastic hours, and what's even best is their prices. Will always buy here instead of the other Farm foods. I've no longer been buying in other places and instead I've been getting everything here at farmsfoods, because you really get more than your money's worth here. As a dad and full time college student, I love finding produce that is affordable AND high quality. Farms food all the way!"

I've ordered two times so far and will continue. I first tried the chicken drumsticks and they were delicious, reminded me of what chicken tasted like when I was a child. I used the beef bones to make the tastiest bone broth I've ever had. Both shipments arrived still frozen (rock hard) along with useful reading material on how to handle the dry ice and how to cook various cuts meat. I also appreciated reading about the farms that raise this delicious meat.

Such a great resource to support small, sustainable farms! The shipment came much quicker than I thought and everything was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to make my next order!

Never order perishable food from a site without a phone number.
I placed an order FedEx said was delivered but wasn't. I reached out for help since it was free shipping and was told it was my problem to deal with FedEx.
Years of buying from great food operations they always took care of dealing with the occasional problems with carriers. After an hour with FedEx (opening a file) no help from this company. Be aware if you have delivery problem you are on your own with this company. No help whatsoever.
I think there are many reputable places to spend your money.
I've never been treated this way by any of the others.

Got my 1/8 of a cow and all meat is expired not worth 549. 00 also got chicken and bone broth and bacon all expired I want my money back I will send back to you so I can get my family good meat not expired my total 721.00 for expired meat not worth it do buy from them

We were looking for guinea fowl for a special meal, as grandma used to make and this is where we found it. Arrived frozen as guaranteed, within the weight advertised. The dish came out excellent, thanks to premium ingredients. Great consumer support and prices. Just placed our third order and will be back for more. Highly recommended.

I was searching local markets for grass fed, grass finished filet mignon. I drove for 30 minutes to a market that had grass fed filet, not grass finished. Very expensive and lots of rude customers pushing carts around. Hard to find close parking too. I came home and later that night tried on line to search for grass fed and finished filet. No local markets here! I then searched on line and found farmfoodsmarket.com. Finally - they could secure great meats from U.S. farmers! I ordered some filet mignons at a great price and they were delivered to me, packed individually in a cooler with dry ice. I will order from them again - great experience! When I have room in my freezer I will order other meats such as chicken and lamb.

Update: My last 2 consecutive orders have been very disappointing. I am currently NOT a happy customer. I used to receive my shipment the following week when I order over the weekend. The last 2 times, I had to follow up to check where my order is. The first time, customer service responded that they had a dry ice shortage. (However, my other box from a different company shipped on time so maybe the shortage is local?) I still have not received my 2nd order as I am typing this and it is very frustrating as it is very disruptive in terms of meal planning. Customer service simply gave me the link to track my order with no ETA. Maybe they run out of excuses?! Another issue I had was the meat packaging are not completely sealed. I’ve had liquid (blood) spilled all over my refrigerator from thawing even with a mat under it. It may not be a big deal for some but having to clean up all the time is not fun.

I’ve been ordering from a different company about the same time I started buying from farm foods. We love the cuts and quality of products from this other company. Items are all tightly sealed. I get to choose shipping date and it shows up on my front door on the exact day that I picked. No guesswork or follow up needed. A nice touch/ bonus is the entire packaging is 100% recyclable which is good for the environment. Farm foods uses styrofoam boxes. The reason I still order from Farm Foods is they have the bones that I normally use for broths & soups. However, with this recent bad experience, I think it is time to search for another supplier that can meet my needs and cause less stress & disruption on my meal planning activities.

I've ordered a few times from Farm Foods and have been happy with the products that I receive so far. I like that I get to order whenever I need to and not tied to a subscription. This is my go to place to purchase bones for making homemade bone broths. One of the areas of improvement is to provide more options of wild fish / seafood apart from the usual wild salmon.

I was looking for a meat that I have never tried, Wagyu. I found it along with a few other's like Elk and the meat was like no other. I enjoyed the food, but the best was finding it with ease and having an easy check out as well as great contact on when the meat would be shipping. A great place to shop.
