FarmFoods is the best distributor for grass-fed humanely raised meats. I trust their meat sources and am very confident that what my family eats from the farmers that they use are very nutritional and healthy. I prefer to shop from FarmFoods than the grocery for meat. It tastes better, the portions are more than enough, it always arrives frozen, and on schedule sometimes before schedule. I cannot thank them enough.

Order placed on 8/24/21, and here we are 9/8/21 and the order still has not shipped.

I found this market when I was looking for grass fed grass finished bones and I am happy with it.
It has wide variety of options, especially for beef. It also has organ meats that I need for my dog. I wish they also had chicken gizzards which I was looking for my dog. One of the reasons I chosen this market was that they offer free delivery. The only problem I had with the store was that there are many out of stock options. In general I am very satisfied with my purchase and the fast delivery. I received all my items very cold and fresh.

Let's just say that I love meat and my diet is meat based so I am a pretty good connoisseur. I spent my childhood and adolescence at country so I know how meat should taste. So far I only consumed beef, a burger and two sausages and everything was delicious. I don't recall eating so tasty steak when I spent over $100 at a $$$ restaurant. My orders were quite large for a single person and I did not get the chance to taste the chicken and all cuts I purchased. All I can say everything was freshly frozen. I ordered twice from them, and I will order in the future more. Order was delivered in time. I had few questions that Carlos responded fast. One item was damaged during shipping and FarmFoods reimbursed me for that no questions asked. I honestly think it is a great place to get quality meat. Knowing that these days many decent priced restaurants are buying the steak frozen and warms it up prior service it gives me another reason to continue cooking from scratch everything and to spend an extra buck for a quality meal. It is not cheap but than also the doctors are not cheap ... eat quality food and you won't see the doctor more than for the annual check up. Excellent service! I will come back for more.

An exceptional experience -- the pork was delicious, very reasonably priced in bulk and delivered to the door in packaging that could have withstood extreme heat for more than a day. I have made any number of dishes and each one was exceptional. They have become my go-to meat company.

Recently it’s been difficult finding the meats we want at the local supermarkets. I came across the FarmFoods website and liked the image and purpose behind their products. I purchased a few in bone ribeye steaks to test the shipping time, quality for price, and overall workings of the business model providing quality meats from hard working farmers. I have to say we were very pleased and impressed with the high quality meats we received. Along with our order, we received the information about the farm(s) our order came from, along with important information on how to cook grass fed meats. The cuts of ribeye we received were amazingly tender and outstanding in taste. I have since made two additional orders from FarmFoods. One order included a lb of the thin cut bacon. We loved it! It’s difficult to describe, but growing up my grandfather would provide meats from the small farm he had. Just the smell of the bacon cooking brought me back to my childhood. It is the smell of fresh, delicious meats my grandfather provided to us and the difference between buying at a local supermarket versus fresh products shipped from a farm. Bottom line, we are very impressed and pleased with the orders we have received thus far and we will continue to support our farmers in this manner for our future meat purchases.

I needed grass fed beef liver which is hard to find. I ordered and had it within days. The meat was nicely packed and frozen. The meat tastes delicious! I will be purchasing more. Very well worth it for my health and to keep this business providing me with what I need to stay healthy.

Meat arrived frozen and in a timely manner. Packaged very well. I especially like the bone in pork chops. They are delicious and very tender 👍. AND all this meat is clean and/or grass fed. Cant beat that! I will be buying more 😃👍

They deliver what they promise! Really great meat. I've bought pork belly for making my own bacon (really meaty), I'm excited about my 2nd order of Halibut and Mahi Mahi, and ground beef. They are a little slow to ship but it's shipped in eco packaging and I have had no issue with thaw etc.

High quality product. Came well packed exactly as advertised. Hard to find grass finished beef at reasonable prices. These guys do a good job.

I recently purchased from FarmFoods for the first time as a birthday gift for my father who loves to cook and the gift was an absolute hit! The order arrived early, was packaged neatly with dry ice to keep it temperature protected, and the meat cooked and tasted wonderfully. I am so glad I ordered from here and will ordering again for myself and others.

I would give it a 0 if that's available. I ordered a heritage pork rib rack on FarmFoods and on their website they had pictures of what it looked like. It was clearly a rib rack (st Louis style, baby back style whatever you name it) The representative insisted that the name of the product is correct and I just happened to get a bigger rib that was more of a rib roast. The product I received was labeled "5 rib rack" which was not even stated not on the website. If it was stated as 5 rib rack and weigh about 4-5lbs, I would've at least contacted customer service to clarify it it's a roast or rib rack. If you look at the 2nd and 3rd pictures of the link. (if it's not there anymore, it means they've taken it down out of shame) It is truly misleading. I've been a customer at d'artagnan and first timer at farmfoods because of a friend's referral. Sharon provided me with the worst customer service because after almost 24 hours, she emailed me with this response: "We understand that you feel it is a roast because of the weight." after everything I've explained. Did you even really look at your website pictures? How about informing me that your company will make better notes on the website? or "educate" me which ones are which? Left a sour taste in my mouth. I will keep shopping at d'artagnan.

I ordered a quarter pig. First it took 4 weeks to receive it. When I did get it I received 2 shoulder steaks, 1 ham steak, and 1 pork roast. The rest was scraps, all ham hocks and packs of bacon pieces/ends! Not even one rack of bacon! For 379 dollars! I will never order from them again. Don’t waste your money.

I have placed 2 orders from this company. The first was mostly pork. The quality was not terrible , but I get better pork from a local shop. I also ordered liver and itwas frozen in a block, so if you wanted one piece you have to defrost all the package. It was not separated with paper in between. Useless I ended up giving it to the dog. I complained and they gave me a 20% off discount. Basically useless because it was the same discount they offered anyway.
I decided to order beef with the 20% discount. Maybe it's grass fed beef, but they send you garbage meat. I bought 1/16 of a cow. They gave me 14 packages of ground beef! Plus meat disguised as steak, every piece is super tough and is suitable only for slow cooker. I highly urge you to run away from this company worse meat ever. You are better off buying wagyu ground beef from Costco and any other good steaks from Costco or your local butcher. They got my money, hope they are happy, but never again!

The worst customer service. No phone number, a person on chat who takes forever to respond, no manager; a shipment to arrive by Wednesday based on the date ordered and hopefully will have it on Friday. Mind you this is raw meat. Moved my orders to Omaha Steak that keeps their promise on shipment and does not blame "technical difficulties" or Covid.

I bought $100 of mixed bacon and three packages were bacon shoulder. It was shaped like large steaks. I cooked it was very unhappy with the flavor. Customer service was not willing to make it right. They lost a loyal customer in me.

I purchased a whole cow a few months ago. Not sure why an entire cow only supplies 4 roasts. The meat we’ve used so far has been tough and almost inedible. I’ve started cooking it for our dogs. The tenderloin steaks aren’t even tender. So disappointed and our family feels taken advantage of. I would strongly suggest that you buy somewhere else if you want good meat. We wasted over $3,200. Shameful company.
