Total and utter SCAM ARTISTS. They sent me the wrong size boots then I received this reply offering 10% refund or return to CHINA at my expense. Avoid at all costs (or the costs will be yours).

Nowhere in the site (that I could find) does it say “only after you return the item to China and wait for us to collect it from customs”.

Ive just spent £100 on this online shop thinking how lovely the website looks..

I then looked at the reviews and then realised the company isn't in London but in China instead!! I asked for a refund straight away as I know the items wouldn't be sent out yet.. They totally ignored my emails. They shouldn't be allowed to have such a beautiful website that is obviously false and doesn't even belong to them! How do they get away with it. They should be prosecuted for offering a service that is obviously false. I am so angry with myself for falling for this scam!!

I cancelled my order by emailing them to stop the shoes from being dispatched. They have not replied to any of my emails and have already taken money from account!

zero stars, they are 100% scammers. They operate by delivering extremely poor quality items and then processing partial refunds. It is challenging to dispute the transaction via your bank as you would have to return the items to China first, which in most cases is just not worth it. It is equally difficult to challenge via the Action Fraud.

This is absolutely shait coming from China. With no return guarantee as they give you wrong address and would send wrong item. Absolutely horrible '24 hours customer care' from China or other shait.

Still waiting for my order and will request a chargeback now from my card supplier.

Wish I'd read these reviews before I ordered.
Did not realise I was buying a product in China. Still waiting for shoes to arrive.
I would not have bought from this company if I realised items weren't already held in UK, and that they use Evri, another good reason to avoid.
Disingenuous company name.

If I could pick 'no stars' I would. This company have named themselves to deceive the buyer. They are not based in London, they are based in China. Refunds/ returns are at the buyers cost to an address in China. Poor life choices by those that have set up this shadey business

Website is easy to use and im happy with my purchase

I ordered a pair of shoes. The shoes that I received were not what I ordered. Nor did they have any labels or tags on them and they were not in proper packaging. One shoe was wrapped in bubble wrap. The other shoe was wrapped in a cloth bag. When I emailed Elles London, I received an email back informing me that in order to receive a refund, I needed to post them to an address in China via international shipping at my own expense. And they will only provide a refund once the item has been received with “labels on”. This company is a scam.

Do NOT buy from this so called company. I bought what was described as a Leather Tote Bag! It was not, it was a cheap plastic imitation.
Tried to send back, will cost £25.
The company that actually has the products they sell through Elle London is in China!
I emailed twice, they told me to keep the bag and be happy with a 10% refund!
What an unacceptable service!
The bag is horrible.

SCAM!!! Do NOT buy a thing from this seller. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. They are selling substandard cheap products and market it like it’s a London based boutique. They refuse to give you a refund and ask you to ship to china. Do all you can to avoid them !!!

Scam. See ‘Avery London’ for similar set up. If you still go ahead, at least use a credit card for better buyer protection, because you will need it. Any positive reviews are incentivised / fake.

Clothes delivered without care labels so unable to verify whether they were Merino wool or not. Also directed to return to China address - not made clear before the purchase. This is clearly a UK storefront operating to sell cheap, knock-off products.

If there was a No star rating then this is what I would give. Blimey I ordered a Suede Jacket, clearly an AI photo now. I got a piece of tat/rag, I would not have paid a £5, let along £62.00. Like most others I was sucked into the name Elle London but unfortunately from China, that is now costing me money send back. They offered me £6 compensation to keep, but on principle I will be returning. More annoyed at myself for being sucked in. Please if you are reading these reviews DO NOT PURCHASE.

SCAM! Horrific experience with Elles of London. It is a scam. Clothing is cheap crap from China. I ordered a business jacket and after waiting nearly three weeks, (they claim they’re London and I live in London….go figure!) I threw the jacket straight into the bin.
It would have even been insulting to a homeless person.
A scam of all proportions. Stay well clear….

I have previously ordered from Chinese run companies on Temu and received good quality items at a fair price.
However, I would honestly advise not to order from Elleslondon given my recent experience. Elleslondon tricks customers into thinking their products are stocked from a London boutique.
Despite frequent customer complaints they are continuing to fraudulently describe their products. They mislead customers by advertising their products at reduced sale prices. I ordered a 'leather' tote bag, on offer reduced from £81 to £41 which turned out to be PU, ie faux leather. As soon as I opened the package when it eventually arrived, it smelt strongly of sythnetic fabric and had the look and feel of a 'carrier bag for life'. Nothing like the photographs on their site (which appear to have been appropriated from other sites selling genuine leather tote bags?). I immediately emailed to say that I wanted a full refund - 30 days according to their policy. Three emails followed from them offering first 10%, then 20%, then finally 30% off. All of which I refused since I explained more than once that I did not want plastic in the first place. They eventually sent the return address - located in China for which cost is prohibitive. My returned parcel is still in Hangzhou customs and has still not been collected by the company's 'agent' - a ploy to refuse a refund, hoping customers will just give up and just take the loss.
I would still be waiting for a refund now if I had not gone to Nat West to claim back my money which I received within 2 days of contacting my bank

I ordered a blue ‘cashmere’ cardigan. I was sent a grey piece of rubbish, there wasn’t even a grey on the webpage, I will explain how badly it is made, looks nothing like the elegant item on their website. Raw edges, threads everywhere, ugly buttons (holes forced in wool to make button holes) flares out one side and buckles on the other. So short it looks like a child’s cardigan (I’m only 5.1 so nothing is usually short on me!) No wash care label or anything to say it is cashmere, obviously it is not. I am still waiting for a refund of a second item that was ordered by accident, they emailed me to say other people had problems with this and they would refund me, I’m still waiting. I want to return the shabby cardigan but as others have found you have to return items to China at your own expense, far from it being a 30 day refund policy. I cannot stress enough to anyone reading this that this Company is a SCAM, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.
