Faye was brilliant from start to finish. Lead by us and not pushy at all. At no point encouraged more expensive options and the breakdown of cost was clear from the start. Faye felt as invested as I was in ensuring that the ring had the story we wanted! The final ring was beautiful. We could not have expected better service!

So happy with the end product. The whole experience was amazing and felt so personal from start to finish. From the design to the sizing I felt intimately involved in the whole process and was asked for my input. My requirements were quite specific and they fully got on board with this, making good suggestions along the way, and making changes to the design to suit what I was after. The service was so friendly and personal - such an easy and chilled experience. I'm absolutely delighted with the piece too, it looks stunning and quality is incredible. A very happy customer. Would highly recommend!

Good overall service provided by Durham Rose; provided support and advice on stone selection and aspects to finalise my 75% complete design.
Natalie was very helpful accommodating my busy work schedule for meetings / design sessions and my indecisiveness selecting diamonds.

Negatives:
Nothing deal breaking.

Would suggest that the early modelling process is expanded to allow for higher levels of detailed design development. The early design software used currently allows for quick mock-ups and idea development, and does contain some level of detailed controls. However in my case, my design pieces were too complex and couldn't be fully mocked up for me to see until later in the CAD stage. Design changes become limited at this point, the scope only allows for 1 further design iteration.

I believe most customers would be willing to pay a fixed fee or on a Time & Materials basis for design to allow for more time and flexibility in the detailed design process, rather than it being wrapped into the ring package.

Lovely service and very helpful & patient with designing a ring with a man with ZERO clue about jewellery, but with very specific requirements. Ring is beautiful. So happy.

Durham Rose set my mothers diamond in exactly the setting copied from another ring. They did it absolutely perfectly and I am over the moon. The ring that it was copied from cost double the price to set so I was delighted with the price as well. Really professional, lovely people. I would recommend anybody to go to them.

I was looked after by a wonderful designer Faye. She really was quite superb, helped with all my enquiries, helped nurture a design which was probably a little tricky to perfect and kept working at getting the best result for me. The whole online design thing was something I wasn't so sure about but it really went so well and the ring looks amazing and I know that no one else in the world will have that ring except my wife! I would without doubt recommend Durham Rose and especially Faye, she was charming and thoroughly professional. Thank you. X

The process was very straight forward and more than happy with the ring. I had a good idea of what I wanted, and Melissa was fantastic with bringing that to life. Melissa was prompt to respond and make any changes I requested. I think I began to get very picky and was unsure how the final product would look in comparison to the cad images. However, Melissa assured me of any concerns I had. My fiancé loved the ring and the fact it is bespoke. Overall a very good experience, very reasonable price for a bespoke service and ring was better than expected.

Durham Rose were very pleasant to deal with and gave a very quick turnaround. they were very kind, helpful, reliable, trustworthy. they really did all they could to help make the engagement ring to time (which, because they worked so hard, it was to time) and the ring itself was beauty personified! it was everything I'd specified and more and my fiancee can't stop looking at it still!, and it was in July when we got engaged. They even took great care of the stones which we supplied. We can heartily recommend Durham Rose to anyone and we do, to everyone.

A very good experience, Faye talked me through the design process for the ring and earrings and the end result was stunning.

I was attracted to Durham Rose by the idea of a creating something unique, special and distinctive for my fiancé-to-be, instead of selecting from the range of what was available at a “high-street” jeweller.

Jordan expertly guided me through the design process, allowing us to jointly design the beautiful vintage-style ring based on my ideas of what I was looking for, and his suggestions and expertise with the CAD tool. The bespoke service extends to choosing the material and stone(s). This enabled me to select (on Jordan’s recommendation) a wonderful Crafted By Infinity diamond and, I believe, to find the “sweet spot” in terms of highest quality diamond vs. my available budget. Durham Rose have UK exclusivity for Crafted By Infinity diamonds which – if you read expert reviews – are of exceptional quality. This is a great boon for Durham Rose. I even have an invite to meet the CBI diamond cutter!

The completed ring has exceeded my expectations, with the CBI diamond giving incredible sparkle. My now fiancé is delighted with the ring, and several people have told us it is the nicest engagement ring they have seen! It truly is unique, special and distinctive.

The service was particularly impressive since I was out-of-the country 4 out of the 5 weeks during the creation of the ring, and we were working to a fairly short lead time.

All-in-all I highly recommend Durham Rose for excellent service and final product.

What can I say about Durham Rose? I could say that the whole experience was effortless, and that the staff were exceptional in every way. I could say that I’ve ended up with a custom ring that was beyond my expectations and far exceeds what I could have got on the high street. But, none of this really does DR justice.

I had a very specific idea in my head about the style and type of ring I wanted. I wanted to combine a vintage diamond in a modern yet elegant setting. DR, not only sourced the vintage diamond but help me realise the perfect design to go with this stunning stone.

To anyone thinking that a bespoke ring is too much of a risk and too expensive, then think again. If you are willing to trust DR then they will absolutely nail the perfect ring for you. After this experience, i couldn’t recommend them highly enough and am so glad I didn’t take the high street option...

If this isn’t high enough praise, consider this. By using DR, you get to be a part of the rings life-cycle, you get to realise your design and see that design come to life. Youre not only getting a ring but an experience that you can share with your partner and will last a lifetime. Isn’t that what marriage is all about!?

What an incredible experience from start to finish! My first enquiry was a little tentative. I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for in a ring or even when I was going to need it. I had a few initial design calls with Faye and she was incredibly helpful helping refine my thoughts. She helped with suggestions and recommendations but allowed me to take the lead on what I wanted. The epitome of a consultative approach. At no stage was I ever ‘sold’ to. I had a few periods where life got in the way of our plans and Faye touched base to see where things were but on two occasions said she’d leave it with me - I didn’t get loads of follow up calls, she waited for me to get back in touch when I was ready.

The experience itself was wonderful. The ring Faye helped me design is stunning. Thank you for everything!

Brilliant service from start to finish. The designer that I worked with was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the industry, ensuring that my budget was kept and a beautiful ring produced in the end. I loved how the video design session worked which is a brilliant business move as it meant that despite being on the other side of the country, I could speak one to one and help adjust designs. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because of the lack of communication around delivery. I was provided a delivery tracking code but this was half an hour before it arrived leading to me questioning if it had actually been sent. That being said, I have enjoyed the experience of being able to design an engagement ring and will recommend them in future.

We used Durham Rose to create a bespoke engagement ring and they did not fail to disappoint! Everything from first contact to receiving the final product was of such high quality. Natalie was our personal ring assistant and she went above and beyond to ensure our ring ended up exactly how we imagined. We honestly couldn't recommend Durham Rose and especially Natalie highly enough! Very happy couple here - thank you again!!
