One of the pair of shoes that I ordered was defective, and I believe I paid to have returned to restock, which I think totally unacceptable. The return shoes should have never been put in the mail to me, knowing that the tan front on the top would be too was already cracked.

They have been amazing.
I originally brought a size 8 and the loafer fit a little big so I returned it for a size 7, unfortunately they do not do half sizes.
The customer care team have been amazing, very quick at responding!
Also I have had email updates throughout the process to keep me up to date.
The loafer itself is incredible, the detail and quality is 100% worth the price. I would have happily paid £300 not £270.
I would advise going 1 size down from my experience.

Great designs
Great designs, quality fits! I’m afraid to order shoes online without trying them on in person, but their designs across the board are sick. I’ve ordered multiple items (shirts, painted leather card holder and a sweatshirt) and all were high quality and fit great. Solid customer support when I needed to email them although the international shipping is a bit annoying to deal with if returning items - but it is what it is when you order from a company in the UK and you’re in the US. D+D is one of the few companies I follow closely to see what collaborations they’re doing next.

Missing items
Paid for express, came about a week later. Ordered three items and two showed up. First time ordering from Duke & Dexter and was super stoked but overall poor experience

To clarify for transparency, your order was delivered within 3 working days, with the remaining time falling over the Easter bank holiday weekend, which can impact delivery timelines.
Regarding the missing item, we sincerely apologise again for this error. As discussed over email, this was handled as quickly as possible - we offered to either send a replacement along with a small gesture of goodwill, or process a refund. You opted for a refund, which was processed the same day.
We completely understand how disappointing this must have been for your first order, but we hope the way this was resolved shows our commitment to putting things right quickly.
