The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because/c I would love to be able to have the actual prescription to bring to my own local pharmacy. Otherwise, very efficient and professional.

I was supposed to receive my delivery tomorrow. Today, I received several contradictory messages from Pocketpills (an affiliate) saying, in order, 1. My refund has been processed (I never requested one and in fact was awaiting my order); 2, apologies for that error, my order would be arriving as expected; 3, they were unable to process my payment (I paid in full many days before) and 4, to continue with my order I would need to pay the entire amount (over 300$ again). Still have had no resolution. Beware
Very sketchy. Wanted a prescription, got it. The telehealth pharmacy they hooked me up with was reluctant to give pricing information after I received my prescription... And when I did get that info it was.... Wrong.

I’m writing a negative review based on 2 necessary requirements I have for a doctor site: communication and comprehension. Both of which were absent on this site.
I did not receive a confirmation email of my request. (Not in my inbox/other/junk nor garbage) DooU prompts you to have the email resent if you don’t receive it. I did that and still no email. I then followed the prompt to add a different email and it went to error. I reached out to DooU via messages: I wanted confirmation of my request and communication, before a drug was prescribed… What I eventually got in return was a text communication of my prescription approval for a drug I did not want, and a text communication from DooU requesting a 5 star review…. I’m fine with text communication, what I’m not fine with, is it being after the fact and me not being given the opportunity to discuss my health with the doctor.
In my requests, I stated multiple times that I DID NOT WANT OZEMPIC!!! I told them I was interested in mounjaro or zepbound, possibly wegovy. I explained I have been on Ozempic before and it is not something I’m interested in again. I also stated that Zepbound is likely covered under my insurance plan. Despite me telling them I’m NOT interested in Ozempic, they still prescribed me ozempic without communicating or consulting me. (I was not charged for this medication because I cancelled my card before they could charge it. I had a bad feeling about the lack of confirmation. I read reviews and found that this was infact an ongoing issue with DooU, so I cancelled my card before I was charged and I am so happy I did!) After I got upset, justifiably, DooU told me their reasoning for this was that I clicked on ‘let the doctor decide’ and that wegovy is the same active ingredient so they didn’t see a difference in treatment. (I know Wegovy is the same active ingredient and that’s why it was my last choice, however my own research has also shown that wegovy is a stronger dose and still would have higher results than Ozempic. Also if you know that the active ingredient in Ozempic isn’t effective for me, why prescribe it to me after I told you I didn’t want it???) In my patient history I gave them multiple options of medications I was interested in taking: Mounjaro, zepbound, wegovy; in that order. I told them that I did NOT want Ozempic. (I clicked on the option “doctor can choose” based on the fact that I assumed my patient notes would be read and they would choose between the three drugs I requested. I was wrong! They still prescribed Ozempic! WHY?? This shows me that DooU doctors or AI did not read my notes, and that they are likely pushing Ozempic for their own personal gain reasons) That’s scarey!! Especially scarey, given that DooU is supposed to be a medical site and these are supposed to be licensed doctors on them. I have zero respect for the integrity of DooU and do not feel safe under the care of a team who does not pay attention to detail. Not to mention the fact, that I never got communication nor received any notes from the doctor assigned to my chart, prior to nor after prescribed. (The customer service AI. bot argued that they sent all these notes to my email, but they didn’t. I never did and still have not received them…however, once I made a huge stink about DooU’s lack of procedure and security, my last 2 messages from them came to my email account inbox. This proves they were lying, that they did not send me doctors communication and notes. That my email was not the problem, DooU cutting corners and being solely AI is!)
(DooU did say they would ‘request’ a prescription change to one of the three drugs I actually requested; however I do not feel safe in their care based on the lack of attention to detail and communication. I also don’t appreciate the run around and fabrications of truth. I have declined to work with them further.)
Be careful when choosing sites. Loosing weight is not worth your safety. Ya DooU has less hoops, but I do not believe DooU’s intentions are in the patients best interest.
Side note: Pocket pills communication was great. From the few detailed messages I got from them. However, I cancelled my card before they could charge it, so maybe that’s why?
Terrible that you don’t have a customer service department. Terrible that you don’t have contact with the person before approving the order or before the person is able to speak to the doctor.

I started to apply and did not complete the procedure. However I gave my cc number and was charged right away. Despite it would be impossible for a dr. to review my application I was told that it had been seen. Then 10 minutes later I was asked to finish the application so that my file could be seen by a dr. The responses are AI and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Impossible to reason with an AI agent, so I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my CC. Stay the f away from this disreputable company. I had to call my CC company and get a completely new card and dispute the charge. STAY FAR AWAY AND DO NOT TRUST! AI is still trying to contact me, so if you don't want to have the same experience I had DO NOT deal with this company.
I stand by my review 100%. AI even wrote me "Dear Terrible" when they contacted me as the last things I wrote the bot was Terrible Company. Like I said, I had to cancel my CC and the charge was purged by Mastercard when I told them what happened. DooU never refunded me as the card was no longer valid.

Shady billing practices. Company hides the fact that after 2 months users must pay a subscription fee to continue medication.
