Don’t bother unless you love being frustrated and ignored.

They don’t respond to emails and don’t ship out your items. Even when they are listed as in stock.
I have been in an almost year long nightmare with this company. It started with a preorder last year the never got shipped to me and when they responded to my emails they didn’t have it any more. This was super frustrating because I had emailed about the item a time or two before it shipped and had gotten blown off with “oh yeah it’s coming. We’re processing”. If I had gotten a response where they actually checked what they said they checked when I emailed the first time, I may have been able to order the item from another place. By the time it shipped and arrived the limited edition item was sold out everywhere. They eventually offered me a store credit refund along with some extra compensation but it took another email or two after it was offered to get anyone to actually process what they had offered. I finally got it about 6 months after the initial order, 3-4 after I received the order.

I try to be very understanding and forgiving. I’ve worked in customer service jobs where people are grouchy and a pain. I get that sometimes people make mistakes so I decided to use the store credit to give them another chance. I also didn’t want to take the expensive hit. I placed another order to give them a second chance. That was on April 6th. It still hasn’t arrived. All items were listed as in stock and when they decide to respond to my many emails there was months of we’re working on it and the company only gives us a small number at a time excuses. I finally emailed saying the package should be emailed or I should have a refund given to me by the 6th of September. They apologized and said they’d get working on it. A week later on September 6 a shipping label got made. It has sat with the company for the last two weeks apparently g just waiting to be picked up.

Doesn’t look like they are shipping out items.

My story is the same as everyone’s. Ordered an item in May with no movement on it for 3 months. I was told that the item, which was in stock when I bought it was ACTUALLY out of stock.

Fine, when is the expected restock? The staff has no clue. How can you run a business and not be able to at least estimate when an item is back in stock?

Fine. Let me get something else. I am currently here waiting to see the fate of my second order. I’m honestly not expecting much at this rate. Buyer beware.

I highly recommend KPOPOMO for your buying needs. They have faithfully fulfilled my orders on time and quickly, so I have no idea how other companies are doing just fine and this one can’t follow through.

So, this place is probably just a scam.

Edit: the item is now listed as “sold out” and “unfulfilled”. So I am now right back where I was. Please don’t order from these people.

Scam company — never receive orders

I placed an order in the wintertime. Never arrived so I got a gift card refund. Then, placed two orders in Feb and March, it’s now SEPTEMBER and nothing. Meanwhile their social media is full of interns posting stories about their meals in Korea. Unresponsive or complete liars over email. Absolutely the worst buying experience ever. I’m probably eating the cost.

Not much for sale/Processing Orders takesToo Long

Not much for sale. Mostly SOLD out of all items.
Takes forever to get your merchandise. I'm still waiting for an order from May 2023 and it's September 2023. This is the last time I order. I had been a faithful fan for years. From the beginning, I told everyone wonderful things about this company on my social pages on fb and Insta. Now I feel they lost whatever drive they had to become a great company and don't care too much about us. My most recent customer service email was rude. I don't know who is writing for them now but that person needs a lesson on customer service etiquette. I'm done Howard and Jo!

Daebak is great amazing but

Daebak is great amazing. But I miss some stuff like the cheese ramen, also the volcano some thing I forgot the name but it was a face wash and it’s gone.

The company used to be amazing but now that I’ve cancelled my subscription and before when I asked for it to be on hold they keep charging me money and they’ve refunded me before but now they are refusing to refund me for an order I’ve never purchased as I unsubscribed months ago and instead are offering me a $10 USD gift card for an order that was almost $55 USD for a mistake they made they are also taking days to respond just disappointed I loved this company before and would’ve done anything for it but now I’m upset

Wrong address/not shipped

I had recently moved so my order wasn’t getting to me. The company quickly rectified this by replacing my order with a gift card. Afterwards, I wasn’t able to get my order shipped to me. Once again, they worked hard and kept in constant contact with me while they fixed this issue. The professionalism of this company is out of this world. I’m so appreciative, and can’t thank them enough!!

Very slow on orders compared to before

I ordered a twice ready to be album but…

I ordered a twice ready to be pre order album (directly when it was for pre order sale) and first of all after the album released I had to wait like two months till it arrived and also did not got any pre order benefits. But that was not it, normally you would get 5 photocard and one massage photocard in that album but I got 4 and one massage photocard. I got the other versions at a local store and they were fine. Maybe I’m gonna order something at your store in the future but not kpop albums.

I placed my order in June and still have not received it. Multiple times I have emailed them asking for a tracking number or any information regarding my order but unfortunately no luck. I do not recommend this platform, I really doubt I will ever have my magazine.

Utterly disappointed - ordered Astro Stargazer in May…

After ordering Astro Stargazer in May this year and multiple emails to Daebak when my order will arrive ('soon, priority'), I have now, after I asked again on Friday, been informed the item is not available anymore. As Aroha, this is devastating since Binnie left us and this was the last concert with him I watched. How can this happen? Aren't purchased items secure, as in if you purchase it is guaranteed to be put aside for you? Apparently not... will never order again!

Ordered never came

Ordered never came.

I ordered back in April. Was told my order shipped out in June. I have not seen any order update since then. They told me my order was shipped “via cargo” and would update soon. It has now been another month since then and still no update. I’m beyond annoyed and frustrated that I can never get in touch with a human. I tried email and instagram but no one will send me anything back. At this point I’ve had to dispute the charge because no one will get in contact with me about a refund.
This company feels like they started out with good intentions but can’t keep up with orders or demand.

For Cargo Shipping orders, the tracking number is a pre-generated label printed here, in Seoul. Since this is shipped via cargo shipping in bulk shipment, it doesn't have a tracking number from South Korea to the United States hence there is no update until it has been cleared by customs and our partnered facility will start sorting it.
Once it has been scanned by our logistics partner, the tracking number would have an update. and receive it in no time.
