Achtung kriminelle Energie!

SCAMMER! Das Unternehmen "The Daebak Company" mit Sitz in Hongdae/Seoul hat in Deutschland viele Kpop Fans verärgert und einen riesigen wirtschaftlichen Schaden angerichtet! Zahlungen wurden einbehalten, Ware wurde nicht versendet, Rückfragen zum Status der Bestellungen blieben grundlegend aus! Viele Kunden haben sich damals an uns gewandt und um Unterstützung gebeten. Letztendlich haben es unsere Anwälte geschafft, dass dieses dubiose Unternehmen seine betrügerischen Aktivitäten in Deutschland nicht mehr ausführen kann ...Was sagt uns das? Nicht jeder der sich Daebak nennt, meint es auch gleich gut mit euch!

SCAMMER! The Daebak Company, based in Hongdae/Seoul, has angered many K-pop fans in Germany and caused enormous economic damage! Payments were withheld, goods were not shipped, and inquiries about the status of orders were basically ignored! Many customers contacted us at the time and asked for assistance. Ultimately, our lawyers managed to ensure that this dubious company can no longer carry out its fraudulent activities in Germany! What does this tell us? Not everyone who calls themselves Daebak has your best interests at heart!

They are a scam

I subscribed to a Daebak box in Dec 2023 and it never arrived after many promises. I finally asked for a refund. It's been promised a couple of times but never arrived. They just emailed nearly 2 years later and said they refund is still coming but they are trying to get it all figured out. I don't expect to see a dime.

DAEBAK ARE THIEVES

I placed my order in August 2023. As of today, I've received nothing but lies from Daebak. The last email I received from their so called customer service team was in July 2024. They haven't replied to any of my requests since. My money is as good as gone. Meanwhile, Daebak moved on and started a new business to scam new customers. DO NOT buy from this company. They used to be great. But continuing to blame covid when in actuality they owe thousands to USPS is not cool. I would have paid more in shipping if it meant getting my order. Now they've stolen my money and I have to go re-purchase the items!

How can this company still even exist

How can this company still even exist. Literally stole probably tens of thousands of dollars from customers who never received product. Every 6 months months or so we are graced with an update stating not to worry it’s coming. What a joke. Myself as well as I’m sure many others order from Korea based companies all the time and receive products in a timely manner so I’m not sure why Daebak has such an issue

Meine Bestellung kam auch nach fast einem Jahr immer noch nicht an. Drei E-Mails geschrieben und immer die gleiche Lüge: "...Ich frage persönlich in der Logistik nach und melde mich dann bei dir...."
Auch auf Anforderung von Storno und Geldrückerstattung, immer der gleiche Text.

Spart euer Geld, Finger weg von dieser "Firma".

Layover Bundle & Weverse Album

Frist of all I did order BTS coffee and got my merchandise. This company had a good idea on Layover bundle & Weverse album. Mind you I pre-order it back in August 8,28,2023.Concern about my merchandise not received after V's promotion. I did send a email in December 2023. Didn't get no response. February of 2024& April 2024 is the last time I got an email from this company. I'm so disappointed. Spend to much money not to get my merchandise. I'm a Army who was let down

Never ever

Pre-ordered special edition of blackpink items in 2022/2023 and then suddenly got a refund without any warning. I had to really search to find out that it was OOS and they decided to refund without telling you anything. Also had a subscription purchased at the beginning of 2023 in which they only fulfilled the first box. Received responses similar to everyone else. They used to be reliable

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. I placed a pre- order of a Vinyl LAST APRIL 2023 and I have still yet to receive the product and or refund. I waited patiently until June 2024 to enquire as I actually forgot I ordered it until it was still pending on my shop app. The email I sent in June I had a response back saying they were passing the enquiry to the order processing team and they would follow up with me. Well you guessed it, was not followed up. I then again sent another email in September. Again not response. It’s now October and i am still chasing an order from 18 months ago!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Completely lost my trust in this…

Completely lost my trust in this Company! I had been a member since 2016 and was getting my subscriptions boxes regularly until Jan 2023 when it all went to hell. The owe me so many boxes or almost a $1000 in subscriptions charges (since I was on autorenewal) for the unfullfilled orders. Their standard response, when they were actually responding, was they got overwhelmed with shipping costs and got behind in the payments so the shippers are holding the boxes hostage until payment made. Yet they were still taking new orders without actually fulfulling them. So not Daebak!!!!!

They owe me a lot of money

I loved this company & the guy who ran it had a Facebook group & it was a nice community. On top of that, it was fun getting the subscription boxes & they had so much cool stuff in them.
Something fishy is happening. I just went to look at my account to see exactly how much over a year it’s been since I haven’t received what I paid for, and now the site is “experiencing technical difficulties.”
When I emailed them in June to ask what was going on, still being patient & hoping in good faith that something had happened, this was the vague response I got:
“Thank you so much for your patience about this. We sincerely appreciate it. All of our daebakboxes and mystery boxes from last year had been packed and were prepared to ship - however due to astronomical shipping costs we are still not able to fulfill them. While we offer free shipping or shipping to atleast $12.99 per order, this is only 35% of what we actually pay. Which has been on going since we started Daebak Shop last 2020. With the accumulation of negative revenue from the past years, we are not able to fulfill these orders at a reasonable time. We have found several alternatives to have these shipped at a lowered shipping costs for us ($25-30), however it would not make sense to ask our customers to pay for it.Currently, we are working on getting new investments while also paying the loans we took to cover this issue. We are confident to secure these necessary funds. Rest assured that the top priority once these investments are received is to send the orders.“
There has never been a suggestion of a refund not reimbursement for an annual fee I paid for absolutely nothing to arrive.
I’m so upset something that was so great ended up feeling like a total scam!

DONT BUY FROM DAEBAK

I ordered a kakao and friends mystery box on November 10, 2023. It is now August 20, 2024. I still have not received the product, despite them charging me for it. I have sent multiple emails and there is a complete disregard to answering. I am extremely disappointed and would not buy anything from daebak again.

Commandes jamais reçues

Nous n avons jamais reçues nos commandes, les 2 aucune n à été reçues j ai réussie à me faire rembourser la première commande parce que payée par PayPal mais la 2e commande je ne reverrai jamais mon argent. Site à fuir de toute urgence ne commandez pas dessus. C est une arnaque et nous avons vues les commentaires négatifs beaucoup tard avec ma fille

Daebak Co should meet the Korea Consumer Agency

The gaslighting and lack of response from this company regarding refunds after not fulfilling orders for YEARS is inexcusable. They are taking advantage of their international customer base not knowing how to respond since they are based in Korea is despicable.

Since they refuse to acknowledge refund requests…those affected can head over to the Korea Consumer Agency website and file a cross-border consumer dispute.

You can Google “Korea Consumer Agency + Cross-border Consumer dispute” to get to the right page where the complaint form is available for international consumers. The form has an option to insist on a refund from this company as well as a spot to explain their wrongdoings.

I hope this review is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of purchasing from this company. DON’T.

Instead of simply returning the money to customers for not being able to fulfill orders all this company continues to do is steal money and kick the hornets nest. I’ve had enough of the run around and it infuriates me to see tons of people in the same situation.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. I had been with them for their subscription box since about 2019 and was very happy with it. Obviously when Covid hit it means there were many,many delays with the boxes but they would all come eventually or so I thought. 2024 and this company is still using Covid as an excuse why no one has received their subscription boxes in about a year or more. Either that excuse or the other one- that or they have a big shipping bill that they can't pay and so the boxes can't be sent out. They have a facebook group filled with negative experiences and people who have lost their money. They don't answer emails anymore or comments on the facebook group or instagram and yet they are still advertising. They have quite literally stolen thousands from people and have no intention of sending out items. They still have items for sale and are still taking money from people it is absolutely criminal. They are getting away with it because most of the customers are international and don't know how to file a complaint for a Korean company. Because we are used to long delays it also means that many people have waited too long to be able to claim back through Paypal because we trusted them when they said we would get the items. I honestly don't know how these people sleep at night.

Nonexistent customer service, never sent my items

I placed an order in early March for several items, including a pre-order item that said it was expected to ship in mid-April. It is now the end of July. I have emailed Daebak and messaged them on multiple social media channels about half a dozen times requesting updates, an estimated shipping date, and eventually a cancelation of my order. I have never received a response. At this point I plan on disputing the change on PayPal to get my money back.
