We specialise in checking and processing Basic Disclosure applications and provide support and advice specifically for the Basic Disclosure Online Application. We do not currently handle applications for Standard or Enhanced DBS checks although we may be able to advise on who you need to contact if you do require a Standard or Enhanced DBS check.

Outstanding support from Kathryn
I received support from Kathryn, she helped me submit the applications for all of my employees. She was very helpful and thorough through out the process. Any questions I had were answered and she responded quickly.

First time using the DBS service
First time using the DBS service. Made some errors on the application however, Ross made the process smooth by guiding me. We now have a correctly completed application in progress for an employee.

I registered on the website as self-employed, and had to provide my card details for what I assumed was the actual DBS, it was, in fact, a registration fee, when the website states you need to 'register for a free account', so I was already £45 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. It also turns out that this company do not even verify the DBS documents themselves, and you have to provide details of someone to verify your DBS documents - now as a self employed person, I do not have anyone to do this for me (as it has to be someone outside of friends and family). The DBS would have then cost an additional fee, and the £45 was nonrefundable. (It's also important to note that I used a different company, who were cheaper, who then verified the documents themselves/in-house which was expected and the normal way of doing things, that CRB do not)
Would not recommend as all of these fees are not made clear on the website and customer service just direct you to their T&C's that again, weren't clear at the time of payment/registration.
