They are fraud and cheat. These scammers deducted £117 without my authorisation . When I request refund on the same day within few hours. They offer me £27 refund. How these thieves and scammers are allowed to operate. I will take this matter further

They are scammers they took my money and were not providing me dbs and also they did not responded me, then i asked just what is process for refund they stopped my process.

Hideous company. Seems to be legitimate when you sign up but they are useless. Avoid like the plague.

This website is totally a scam. The price they show on their price list is not what you pay. They add VAT on each line of services, then they add all together on the bottom line and charges VAT again on the total sum. So for express fast service you are paying more than 150 GBP and still I haven’t received my basic DBS check certificate.
The price they show is 21 GBP + 47 GBP for express service but with VAT added it will cross 110 GBP, then they say we need to verify the certificate and identification again which cost extra 15 GBP and they recommend their own associated website who provides that service.

But here comes the twist, it failed to recognise your documents and identification on some stupid reason which doesn’t make any sense and it is not clear enough why they didn’t verify.
When you raise a ticket about the issue, they just say we didn’t receive the verification certificate, so promt you to pay extra 15 GBP to unrecognise your documents like passport and proof of address again.
And the process reapeat again costing you time and money.

I used GOV.UK, paid 21 GBP and decided to wait for 3-7 days but to my surprise I received online certificate within 12 hour.
I was so regretful about wasting my hard earned money and my valuable time and energy.

These people are scammers. They charged me £84 twice trying to get an Enhanced DBS - they advertise at the top of google and so I thought they were legitimate. It turns out a DBS is 9only £21.50 or £49.50 - don't give these people your hard earned money.

Hi please please,I had worsted experience with this company, they taken my money £101.50 for dbs check, same day I request for refund, for 8 day I am emailing them no response, they eay people money don't trust this people, can someone help me to complain about this company, they not refund my money when I requested for refund,

Scam - they take your money and give nothing back. They keep taking money out even when a refund is offered avoid at all costs. Site should be taken down.

Accidentally went to this site. I feel this company is a huge rip off, hidden costs, very expensive. I lost over £60 having tried to stop mid point, realising cost were going up and up. They even try to take further monthly cost out after cancelling. They use a portal (so you can’t talk to anyone) Just go to the official Government site, a lot cheaper

This is a scam. I applied for a DBS through this website and never received the certificate, so I had to apply through another provider, which I received within a few days. I initially thought I was just unlucky, but I did not expect them to take money from my account every month for two years. They never sent me any DBS certificate at any point.

This company is scam paid for what they said was an enhanced DBS they delivered me a basic. Ask for a refund and they never gave me one don’t buy from this company !!

I was quite fortunate as my Nationwide stopped them taking out £86 50 for a DBS check,you need to go to the right one namely You Gov which charged just £21 60 for a basic check. I changed my bank card to stop these scammers trying again as my bank advised.

Scammers they took £101 out of my account for a £15 payment don’t trust them and report them to trading standards!!

They charge nearly £50 on top of the DBS fee. They do not process the application until you have verified through their choice of organisation which is an additional fee. No way of contacting or cancelling them. I thought I had applied through the DBS page. DO NOT USE! Needless to say, I still have no DBS certificate and am doubtful it will arrive.

This company is a shame!
They charge exorbitant price while can obtain your DBS through government website for £21!
There is no way to contact this company!

Just a scam. Costing me loads. I can’t get my money back and have never received the dbs. And still they keep charging me £8 a month.

I would have left a negative star rating but this was not available. Was charged £101 pounds by Clearcheck for a DBS check. Also charged for document verification. Never received my certificate and was charged £8 a month until I cancelled my credit card. These scammers should be prosecuted.

These background checks are thorough as long as you pay all the extra fees to click every single option. Their base checks aren't that great. CLICK TO SEARCH LOCAL COUNTIES OR A "CLEAR" BACKGROUND CHECK MAY BE MISLEADING!

Pretty much the same as all the other comments, £86 initial check, and then £8 per month for…???
I’m currently trying to get a refund, but strangely they can’t find my details.
Can’t think of why I didn’t go straight to the gov.uk site (just over £20 all done in next to no time).
Clear Check need to be shut down (after they have refunded the customers they have scammed)!!
