We specialise in checking and processing Basic Disclosure applications and provide support and advice specifically for the Basic Disclosure Online Application. We do not currently handle applications for Standard or Enhanced DBS checks although we may be able to advise on who you need to contact if you do require a Standard or Enhanced DBS check.

Double check it actually does what you want
The company says they can’t do the DBS check I asked for, took the money customer support is terrible you can’t actually speak to anyone and they won’t issue me a refund absolutely DO NOT use - I have since now spoken with a manger and have had my problem sorted hence changing my star review however the website should be clearer about the services they provide before you have to sign up for them

I had a great experience with CRB…
I had a great experience with CRB Direct. I initially thought I needed to apply for my DBS certificate through them, but it turned out that wasn’t necessary. Despite that, Ross was extremely helpful and responsive throughout my enquiry.
He provided clear information quickly, and the team responded in a timely and professional manner. Even though I didn’t end up needing their service, the support and communication I received were excellent.
Overall, brilliant customer service from Ross and the team - I would definitely recommend CRB Direct based on the helpful and prompt response I received.

Ross has gone above and beyond- first class service
Ross has gone above and beyond and offered us outstanding support throughout the whole process of submitting the appropriate DBS checks needed. He has been proactive in querying our application as our business didnt sit in recognised category but through working together ensured we got the submission right first time rather than just submitting and getting rejected. Would definitely recommend as a company to help people with DBS checks and Ross is a valued member of your company. Much appreciated

Hello,my name is David Chiles.
My employer requested me to have a CRB assessment off yourselves .
The manager and myself answered the questions required online . And the payment was made .
As it was just over three weeks ago I decided to contact your team as I had not heard anything. Today I received a nice email off Paul on the application assistance team, asking me to inform my manager as they did contact them on the 9th February 2026 requesting more information. So my application could be completed.
I did contact the manager straight away obviously they may not of read it. And I apologise on their behalf. But I believe Paul contacted them by landline and sorted the problem out . Thank you.
Paul is an asset to your team and he has dealt with my request promptly and courteously . He deserves 10/10 rating well done Paul.

Having my application reviewed and…
Having my application reviewed and processed could have been fraught with challenges and self-doubt as ot was my first application. At every point of contact, Kathryn who was looking after my case, gave clear instructions and information that really helped me with the application process. It was particularly helpful when we had a telephone conversation. Her professional approach and knowledge was very reassuring to me and a genuine benefit of this service.
