Booked to use this service to fly out of Bristol airport
Nowhere did it say the dirt road to get into the farmland/carpapark was like an off road obstacle course! My car is lowered and it broke the bumper on the front of my car!!
The bus had already left to go to the airport so they had to drive myself and family in MY car to drop us off!
Arriving back in the country i called them to say we’d arrived as it said they needed 30 minutes notice. After leaving the airport at 2am we had to wait until 3:10 for someone to pick us up, out in the cold and rain
Arriving back at the car park due to the rain my car was filthy!! Plus because of the mud on the floor it was all inside my car as we had to walk around to find it for 10 minutes as no one knew where they’d parked it!
They charged me £8:50 on arrival then i had to pay another £8 when we arrived at the airport for them to drop us af the terminal
This was on top of the £75 i already paid.
I will never use this service again and the sooner trading standards shuts this scam down the better!!!! AVOID, AVOID,AVOID!!!!

*****DO NOT BOOK**** through this website - SCAMMERS! Never never use. They charge £20 cancellation fee no matter what. They don't tell you about the collection until after you've booked so you end up booking something unexpected and then they don't refund you.

They advertise for sapphire parking which is an absolute scam company under a different name with 5 stars when it should be 1 star. I’ve just lost £20 having to cancel. They should have trading standards on the case!!

I am writing to make a formal review about the below standard service and facilities received when I booked Stanstead airport parking through comparetheparking.com

We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the car park and the standard of service provided by the service provider Park Pilot CM22 6LL. The facility appeared to be a makeshift car park on what seemed to be farmland, rather than a proper, suitable airport parking facility. The area was extremely dusty and, when it was windy, we were covered in dust while waiting for the airport transfer.

We were also charged £20 for the airport transfer, but no receipt was provided for this payment.

On returning from our trip, we found that our car was covered in a significant amount of dust and dirt. The condition was so bad that it was unpleasant and unhygienic to touch the vehicle. More seriously, we also discovered a scuff mark and a dent on the passenger side of the car, which were not there before when we left the vehicle with Park Pilot.

The behaviour of some of the staff was also disappointing and unprofessional.

We feel that this service falls well below the standard that customers should reasonably expect when booking airport parking through your company. We are particularly concerned about the damage to our vehicle and would like this matter properly investigated.

We suggest to stay away from this parking near Stanstead airport as I feel it is dangerous to park there.

DREADFUL!! Do not use this website as I do not believe the reviews are correct. Sapphire Parking at LGW Airport is utterly rubbish (rating 4.9 stars out of 5 on Compare Parking) They took 1 hour 20 mins to collect my car, they should have been there on arrival having called 20mins ahead. On our return it took 3 hours 45 minutes to get our car back. Should have been 1 hour from calling. We made all the calls in the timeframe stated on the booking. We departed and arrived in "normal" hours. Our car has a tracker and also on the keys and we could see they were not being moved. We called SP, left voicemail, texted, called again and again. They often ignored our calls or if we managed to speak the guy was rude and hung up. I have complained and requested a refund and my emails are ignored. Compare Parking state they are only a comparison website and have no responsibility for the service provided. Other customers we met waiting for their cars - 2 had their cars left in the short term car park so it cost them a fortune to pay to LGW short term parking to leave. One lady had her car left in KFC car park and 2 tyres were let down. I met an LGW parking attendant and asked if they had heard of Sapphire Parking and the response was "oh you have no idea of the horror stories we hear about them".

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! If i could put no stars i would.They don't answer the phone when we got there. The postcode they give us was not for the car park you actually park your car in. They charge each car parked £8 each time they enter the airport to drop people off and pick them up, even though it says £7 on there paperwork and at the Heathrow airport. He said he would ask the office to charge the paper work but they still charged us £8 when we came back 10 days later. We had to wait 40 mins to be picked up from the airport when we came back when he said he would be there in 10 mins when we rang him. They are ripping people off and there attitude is terrible they just don't care once they have your money. I hope they reply to this review but I very much doubt it!!

Utterly useless bunch of clowns. All their listed providers are rogue traders. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Looks ok but once you pay it tells you you will need additional £10 on drop off and £10 on collection. No customer service available on the phone. Tried to cancel as purchased £2.50 cancellation cover they want to change £20 cancellation fee... raised the dispute with PayPal and bought reputable company parking

Absolutely disgusting service. I paid the £48 and called as instructed half an hour before pick up of the car was due. I must’ve phoned 20 times and got no answer at all. In the end, I had to pay more than double on the day when I got to the airport. Disgusted. Do not use the service even if your life depends on it.

Very concerning choice of parking provider!

I booked airport parking through Compare The Parking and was allocated Easypark Trading Limited at Bristol Airport.

The Easypark representative became extraordinarily abusive after I asked to see identification before handing over my vehicle, ultimately telling me to “f*** off” and “go f*** your mum”, while my eight-month-pregnant wife and two-year-old child were with me.

I understandably refused to hand over my car and had to arrange alternative parking at the last minute.

What concerns me almost as much is that this operator was being offered through a parking comparison website. I have asked Compare The Parking to intervene with Easypark and to escalate my concerns to senior management so that they can review whether this company should continue to be offered to customers.

The matter has also been reported to Bristol Airport and Trading Standards.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend researching the actual parking operator independently before booking through this website.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. SCAM! No.1 The postcode given doesn’t tie up with the address. No.2 They are not helpful and you can’t understand them. No.3 They are not licensed and not insured!!! No.4 They will not shuttle you to the airport until they have a minibus full of people. They only have one bus. They won’t drop you at the airport, they will leave you outside the hotel next door so they don’t have to pay the parking fee. No.5 They ask for a further £20 when you arrive which is not made clear when booking. No.6 We waited an hour to be collected when we returned from the holiday. Steer well clear!!

I do NOT recommend this company. I booked parking with them, followed the postcode and instructions provided, but I could not find the car park. I was extremely stressed and almost missed my flight.
In the end, I had to park at Stansted Short Stay Green instead.
When I contacted the company to request a refund, they refused and said it was not their responsibility. I paid for a service that I was unable to use because I could not locate the parking based on the information they provided.
Very disappointing customer service. I would not recommend booking with this company.

It’s a 1 as the driver who dropped me off was pleasant whilst charging me £20 for to and from Stansted.
Arrived late from flight - called up - wait was 20 mins. It’s now 1 and half hours since I called them. In between times, I called them and then told I was at the wrong “f-ing” place, not the same as the drop off. Not told either on paper or being dropped off, or when I called to get lift.

Just don’t use this firm or you will be waiting for someone to turn upand he probably won’t. pay a little more but only pay once.

I chose parking on 'compare the parking' using Stansted parking services. Really pleased with the price until after purchasing I read I had to pay an extra £20 drop/pick up fee. (This was NOT made clear on the purchasing website). Awful reviews on trustpilot so I can cancelled and was charged £20 admin. So disappointed and what a waste of time and money.

If I could give 0stars, this would still be too much. Shocking. First red flag was no meet and greet at car drop off. We waited 45mins for someone to come and collect the car, we were then asked for the carpark ticket and asked to pay the parking fee, red flag no.2. The return was a joke. We called when through security and were told to call back when we had our luggage. We called half an hour later to confirm. They said they would meet us in 30 minutes…they eventually turned up over an hour and 15 later. They didn’t return our calls when we tried to find an ETA and we couldn’t understand what was being said. We said we shouldn’t have to pay the carpark exit fee but they seemed to think £8 wasn’t a big deal. It was now after midnight with a 2 hour drive to do. The driver smiled and walked away without so much as an apology.
Absolute scammers, unprofessional and zero customer service. God knows where our car has been. AVOID!

Absolute. Joke . Do not book with these guys . I nearly called the police . Very unhelpful . Waited two hours for my car . Then ended up having to get a taxi to where it was parked ten mins away !!!! Awful please don’t book with them

Was supposed to be Meet & Greet, it was Arrive & Wait. Instructions unclear, no apology for delayed arrival, we were late into the airport (Gatwick) ~ could not understand what we were being told & frustratingly, post barely finding a place to park we had to go down two floors to pay for the carpark on top of the cost of organised “offsite” parking. Later read it was organised by Sapphire Parking which we now know has had the recent fire. I am deeply sorry for those affected, apparently our car is ok but we will be happy when we see it on our return. We will not use again, frustrated that my husband didn’t read the reviews as never used before & worst service in 30 years.

On the list from parking companies to choose from, in the description the cheapest company ,,just park and ride” offered drop of and pick up service as all other companies do free of charge. But these guys in conformation email at the bottom in small letters informed that transfer each side £10. Cancellations £20 amin fee. Sounds scam ish .
