I needed help choosing what shoes might be suitable for me, and found that the staff were very friendly and pointed me in the right direction. As I am in-between sizes, and usually wear orthotics, I wasn't sure, so ordered a couple of different sizes and styles. Returning one pair of the three I ordered was easy. Thanks to Cheerful Soles - I'm much more comfortable now.

Shoes arrived promptly, were as described online & are amazingly comfortable. I walked about 2 miles in them first wear with no tights or socks and they didn't rub at all.

I needed to change a pair of shoes for a pair of sandals and Cheerful Soles were exceptionally helpful. The exchange was made immediately, due to their helpful staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Fine service, good advice, happy customer!

Misleading description on website. I ordered a pair of shoes and when they arrived they had bright pink soles. I told Cheerful Soles that they have to be clear in their descriptions because pink soles are not to everyone’s taste and returns are not free. The shoes I ordered were £135 so the return postage will cost be more than £7.50. They were not particularly helpful when I emailed and called nor did they offer me a free return. Their response instead was that other customers hadn’t mentioned it! Isn’t it enough that I am mentioning it? They gave a similar response to this review, that other customers love the pink soles! They completely miss the point I’m making. I absolutely would not order from them again. There are so many other shops to chose from which have good customer service and do not respond to complaints with a defensive attitude. By the way, the pink sole can be seen in the video clip on their website but it’s not in the photos or anywhere in the description (neither the short form or long form).

Professional, helpful phonecall. Return costs inexpensive. However, turns out I was really pleased with style and fit of my Alegria shoes.

Alegria: Dani Lace Up Shoe. dream fit range with neoprene top insert. 5 out of 5 for comfort in this shoe. I have Hallux Rigidus of my right big toe which is very very painful. Bought my first pair in November 2017 when pain level was 7/10. Pain reduced to 5/10. Bought 2nd pair in December 2017 to wear indoors. Pain now reduced to 2/10. I wear the Dani shoes at all times both indoor and outdoors. The Alegria Dani Lace UP has a forefoot rocker sole and heel height of 1.5 inches seems to allow for good rocker on the front. Foot bed is also comfortable and neoprene top has stretch and softness meaning no rubbing or pain on top. Buy your usual size. Cheerful Soles has been prompt with delivery and helpful with exchanges. I have recently purchased the Kleo sandals which has the same height rocker sole of 1.5 inches which is the best height and forefront rocker for comfort for my Hallux Rigidus. hopefully Cheerful Soles will get more UK size 6 stock of the Dani.

Very helpful site. Answered emailed questions very promptly. Unfortunately the shoes I ordered were not suitable for me - no fault of theirs - and the refund of the purchase price was extremely quick. I understand their policy of not refunding return postage but in this age of online shopping maybe they should rethink this.

These were shoes in a sale and a very good offer. I wish I could have kept them but I found that with new orthotic inner soles I now need abigger size.
