I was looking for a trading VPS on the Internet, and came across ChartVPS. They have provided everything promised, and more. Specifically, the support is always very timely and responsive, with all issues being resolved in a very short period. I am very pleased and impressed with their product and their service. I highly recommend ChartVPS to anyone considering a trading VPS.

My experience with Chart VPS has been sublime. I chose Chart VPS because they offered excellent hardware at an amazing price point. However, the excellent customer service was something I did not expect. The staff at Chart VPS (especially Marko) goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right for the customer.

I've never experienced customer service like this before. In my experience the only people who have ever gone to this length to make things right have been best friends and family.

I just moved my live trading hosting to ChartVPS, and they've been fantastic. The setup was quick and exactly as I ordered it and the service has been great (Marko helped me fix a small issue with TradeStation ELC/ADE).

They offer a more robust, faster VPS for a great price (I moved after almost 10 years on a Rackspace cloud server). They offer setups for anyone from the occcasional/position trader to an advanced professional (I've been trading professionally for over 10 years and run IB TWS and multiple TS Desktops with tick, minute and daily charts).

ChartVPS has been my server for almost one year. In the rare times I have needed support the response has been timely and efficient. The support I needed was to correct errors I brought upon myself. The server is A-1, steady and reliable. This is the end of the line for my server search ... I am staying with ChartVPS.

Chart VPS offers an excellent service, has a good value for money, and the support team is very attentive and responds very quickly to emails. If you want the best VPS for your trading you have to look at their plans.

Very happy with ChartVPS. Here's why:
- Some of the lowest latencies I've seen anywhere: 1ms (max 2ms) to area brokers and exchanges in New York (TradeStation) and Chicago (Interactive Brokers). I trade and hedge equities + futures so order execution is of utmost importance to me, and I can say, with confidence, that ChartVPS has been most reliable in this respect.
- Been said by other people but I must again emphasize how good ChartVPS support team is - they are prompt, give precise answers, and even remote troubleshoot issues (including platform related) if you can't figure them out yourself. Very knowledgeable in IT and trading.
- Very stable and responsive servers - much more so than some of the other providers I've tried. My best guess is that ChartVPS uses more modern hardware so a current generation Xeon CPU will be a lot more capable than an old generation Xeon with the same number of cores.
- They include free tools, including various platform plug-ins. Some of these are pretty useful, such as volume analysis and strategy building toolkits.
- They're priced on par with competition, but I feel like you're getting a lot more per dollar, especially since their hardware, network, and service are designed for trading purposes.

Excellent and reliable service! Highly recommended. Great support and capabilities.

I hardly ever give endorsements but ChartVPS has to be an exception. As a long time user of VPS and dedicated cloud servers and after using about 4 other services, I have remained a customer of ChartVPS for many years because they deliver what they promise: uptime with the all resources I pay for. Not all VPS services are equal. Many share the RAM and CPU you are paying for which results in under performance.

I rarely have any VPS issues but when they happen they are quickly resolved.

I recommend ChartVPS to my clients and friends.

I've been a customer of Chart VPS for years now.

I'm a big fan of the service. I've tried others in the past but I've always had problems with their tech, not to mention customer service was poor - to put it kindly.

On the other hand Chart VPS has never failed me. Their customer service is some of the best I've EVER received, in any industry.

5 Starts doesn't do this justice - it's THAT good.

Do yourself a favour and give Chart VPS a trial - even for a month. You'll come to see what I now know....there isn't a better VPS out there especially when it comes to trading, the infrastructure is absolute quality and you'll feel silly you didn't switch over to them sooner.

Absolute bargain. I can't praise these guys enough.

Just get it.

ChartVPS is Outstanding and beyond , certainly for me subjectively and I’ve no doubt will be so for Traders .

You can elect to stop reading here as the statement above is the summation of my review .
I write further below to share my experiences of vps etc over the last few years .

I’ve used VPServers with other providers and varying issues with latency inconsistencies and slow downs and worse inability to log on to server . I have explored cheaper outfits but just felt insecure .

I stumbled across ChartVPS website and been with since August 2018 , i took note they had not only Traders but Trading Programmers at the helm , that gave me the impetus to try ChartVPS. It’s now March 2019 and here I remain for my Trading VPS .

I can not comment on Support, why ? ; because I’ve simply had no need ! .

If you count increasing processor upgrade etc then that was done super smoothly. Of course things will happen it’s the nature of Tech , but the fact it hasn’t I give Gods Grace for my Server and Gods Grace for ChartVPS . Futhermore , this would be easier to concur with Adrian’s post I’m overly confident that if and when needed such scenarios arise a Trader / Tech Programmer Coder Team will be at hand to best resolve, knowing the requisites for Traders and however critical and crucial that can be with trading financial instruments etc ... I use a VPS or shall I say a ChartVPS for that very reason .

If I’ve had no reason for Support then why am I assuming .. well I have had extensive communication with the CEO of ChartVPS ,with and through other business for Trading Software and Customisations and that has to be applauded too.

I have no prior or personal relationship with ChartVPS or their other Group Company Trading Software and Customisations.

Assuringly and why get fancy with words ; Blatantly, this is a “Rave Review” .. not just for ChartVPS’s truths , but moreover my point is for Traders looking for a Trading Built and Purpose laden ... VPS ! then check out ChartVPS !

I’m an ‘as much time I can muster’ Futures Indices Trader ,mainly Semi Auto/ Discretionary and working towards Automated . I’m from the United Kingdom , Essex County and wanted better latency than both previous servers I had used of , one in Chicago and the Other I had for a good while prior , in Frankfurt . The one in Chicago gave me less spec for buck and the one in Frankfurt was more of a Webhosting Outfit and I endured Volatility in my Latency and internet drops and data missing from Tick charts etc .

One my say Semi Auto / Discretionary Trading doesn’t need to necessarily worry about that .. , well may be , but with on the cusp breakout strategies and triggers / signals warrant that for me anyhow .. , Having my Chart Templates and Workspace Set up and Running without having to mess with what I am doing with Other Biz stuff on local desktop etc . When I grow up a little I may go full Auto too of stuff continuously testing and learn and the Infrastructure is in place .. with a firm that I can upgrade with ease at will .

I log on to my ChartVPS from Desktop primarily , I have other biz work and when out and about use Microsoft Remote Desktop Apps both IPad and Android Phone regularly without any issues whatsoever .

With ChartVPS you get exceptional monitoring tools both on VPS and an External Network Health Monitor .
Even so ,with my prior VPS latency insecurities , I use a third party ping and latency check, which I do less and hardly often now ; I’m as yet to find a test report that shows slower or volatile speed . The speed tests on ChartVPS are always stable and well within the parameters of my subscription. That’s what I wanted when moving from prior VPS !

A VPS being pre configured for Trading is important, I guess that’s what prior review author meant by vanilla setups . Well I learnt that the hard way too .. I’d got going a couple of years ago with one of my prior , well my first vps in fact , setting up charts and settings and add ons etc .. moving everything from desktop burning the midnight desk lamp etc .. started snoozing and went off to bed .. obviously forgot to save Workspace.. , the server was set to check and instal Windows Update overnight and you guessed it restart ..next day I had to put the hours in again .. my fault for not saving . However , Windows Sever settings wise to avoid that and change Windows Upate settings unless I paid a fee to the provider to do it for me ... or I learn on you tube how to do the changes in the main server profile user settings blah blah etc which I did the later by the way .. . Well amidst likely other settings this patent configuration is already done on ChartVPS along with no doubt other configuration appurtenant to Trading Platforms .

I do Windows Updates at weekends if needed especially if I see .net stuff in the list .. and especially as Ninjatrader 8 has been doing updated releases etc . The point here is that there's quick restart button on ChartVPS Desktop and it restarts very quickly when needed. Similar restart speed to my recently purchased latest generation i7 Desktop.. I say that for purpose of highlighting my barometer.

I have used Tradestation, Ninjatrader 7 and 8 . All great on ChartVPS . Even had all 3 running at same time , that wasn’t the aim , you know 1 Live and 2 with free demo feeds etc , testing reviewing things etc and .... No issues . No slant on Tradestation , far from it .. I’m just personally aligned with Ninjatrader , so running NT8 now .

Trading is a Business and Not Easy at times for me anyhow , So ones Technology and Infrastructure Needs most certainly warrant.. security and peace of mind ! , reviews are meant to be subjective truths ...... I feel I have that warrant , covered with ChartVPS .

I make no apology for the lack of brevity, I wanted to share what I experienced along the way etc and relay the above primarily for Traders seeking a VPS for the first time or bettering the one they are at ; considerations that I wished I knew at the time . Subjective, please take whatever you may at your will . Better still , see and decide for yourself for a low nominal fee for a week , which I did to gauge for myself and obviously stayed 😊 .

I have used ChartVPS now for several years. As was noted by "Jon's review", the differentiating factor is the support. And moreover, support by people that are intimately familiar with trading. I have no relationship per se with my server, but have developed a great relationship with the company founder. Moving to a VPS has been a great decision because it takes me out of the infrastructure business.

Trading technology puts unique demands on a server, so imagine optimizing this if using a vanilla data center? Good luck with that. So if you're considering a similar move, at very least it pays to place your assets with a provider that specializes in the application context. ChartVPS is the invoice I look forward to paying each month - that's how I know it was a good decision.
