Excellent customer service. Great information regarding delivery. I bought a black bamboo, a beautiful healthy plant arrived, also true to the height I ordered. I will definitely purchase from them again. Soon!

It was a bit slow to be dispatched but was well worth the wait. I Brough 3 bamboo plants to replace a golden willow my neighbours distroyed. I dont know what i was expecting but they are just amazing, they look bigger and better then advertised. I will be using this place again. Everyone is making me send them the link to the garden centre.

Two standard olive trees ordered, arrived and excellent quality better than I was expecting! Have ordered before and this is second order - will definitely use again.

Bought bamboo and trees last year they arrived I was very happy delivered straight through the back garden on a trolley.
Today 5 more delivered 4 bamboo so thin no leaves bone dry hadn't been watered in weeks nowhere near as high as stated and left in the front of my house outside my front door for a disabled lady to Carry 60ft into my garden no door bell no knocking.
I've rang for them to take them back immediately and refund my money ASAP 250cm to 300 cm tall my ass thin in 12ltr pots dry and leafless shocking will not use again what a cheek.

Leaving 7 plants outside the front garden not knocking the door is a safe place when last year your driver brought them by a trolley into my back garden and you watered the bamboo that's a lie I have photos of them on Facebook and wished I could upload them on here for people to make their own minds up they were bone dry hardly any leaves I've got comparison pictures from website to what I received so don't try to justify your delivery driver's behaviour.
Safe place on a busy main rd by my bins ok love whatever.
Anyway refund ASAP so I can buy some more elsewhere.

I ordered the largest size Fargesia Campbell bamboo, & when it arrived I was delighted. A very generous size bamboo & lovely, healthy plant it is. I've planted it in a large 1/2 Whiskey barrel & it looks great and it's already growing new shoots so it seems happy in this container. Very pleased.

I ordered olive tree for for Mothers Day, but received a tree with very thin girth ( 6 cm and not 8-10 cm as advertised) and trunk twisted in two places. I contacted customer service but was not offered a replacement or any discount as
,,Normally, I would offer to exchange your plant. However, the attached photos will show you that they are all quite unique, and it may be difficult to find one that perfectly matches your expectations''. Making me feel unreasonable.
Only solution I was offered is collection when the lady is next time in my area...but not stating when.
So upsetting as plant is not as described, especially not girth in addition I don't know when I will be refunded. So I don't have a gift and/or no refund in sight.

Utter, utter shambles. Do not buy from this company. If you can't deliver to a location then WTF don't you say so on your website? Thank you so much for wasting our time.

The customer service is outstanding. I had an issue with the first set of 3 x large olive trees, but it was quickly resolved with replacement trees arriving a week later, and this batch is truly lovely! I will be ordering more!

Quite happy with my experience with Charella. They had the cheapest bay trees online for the size I wanted and the tree was per size spec when it arrived (I've had issues with other places providing smaller plants than specced). I also really like that they used their own delivery service rather than a normal courier, this meant that the tree didn't get stuffed into a box and battered through warehouses like you normally get with an online garden centre. I don't think I'm close by either but they still had their own van do the delivery which was really great. I ordered during the Christmas holidays so there was an expected slight delay on dispatch but they still got the tree to me well within their specified delivery timeframes.

Very happy and will be using again!

Found the tree I had been looking for, at a really good price. Elaine was really helpful when I phoned for more information, went and took photos of the trees they had in stock so I could pick the one I liked best. Delivery was really quick and it's now planted in my newly designed garden. My garden designer commented on what a beautifully shaped tree it was (multi stemmed Betula Utilis Jacquemonti Snow Queen). Thank you Charella.

My order was processed really quickly and smoothly, then the delivery was booked in with all the plants arriving in great condition on the day expected. Exactly what we needed and great value to boot. Highly recommended

I have ordered smoke bush plant through Charella Gardens website. The plant arrived without UK PLANT PASSPORT( required by law for distant selling to customers) and any other paperwork which is illegal.
The plant has some rot inside and nearly dead which naturally raised concerns.
I emailed Charella Gardens with my concerns but they were unable to provide a COPY of PLANT PASSPORT ( which has to be kept by company for 3 years by law).

APHA, uk government animal and plant health agency has been notified by me and took nessasary and immediate action.
I was advised by APHA to keep plant until inspected by APHA inspector as plant could potentially carry on dangerous and deadly SPREADABLE diseases that's why plants have to have PLANT PASSPORTS by law so diseases can be traced back.
Charella gardens were insisting on immediate collection of the plant despite me explaining that I am waiting for APHA inspector visit to check the plant.I am surprised that Charella Gardens are not aware that plant without PLANT PASSPORT can not be moved ( sent back) until checked for diseases and pest by relevant authorities to avoid potential spreading.

I understand that APHA is taking nessasary action to check the company for Plant Passport compliance.
I emailed Charella Gardens on the 18.10.24 informing them that APHA allow me to release the plant for collection by Charella Gardens.

I will post updates on how the company would be dealing with the refund

I ordered an Olive tree, and was so happy to receive the most healthy and beautifully shaped tree, thanks to the personal attention and care I was given by two different member of staff. In fact immediately after our conversation on the phone, the lady I was talking to, went to pick my tree according to my specifications. The recommendation for the pot was just perfect too! And I also liked the fact that she did not encourage me to spend unnecessarily on special soil ... A truly lovely family business where the customer is treated like a friend.
