Cedarandtinco Recensioni

I should start by saying I haven’t purchased anything from this place. I saw a YouTube ad, my first thought was AI judging by the slightly “off” look of the video but I kept watching as the person had what sounded like a genuine Aussie accent. Except just over halfway, the accent changed to “southern” USA for a short time and then back to Aussie! Come on AI bots - maybe use a human to check your content 😂

Ordered bird box that stated hand carved by Edwin. Advert implied it was wood. However arrived & clearly not wood or hand carved. Complained to the company as false advertising. The bird box was nearly £40. Was told that I could return item at my own cost to get refund & the address was is Hong Kong!!.
They originally offered for me to keep the bird box & would give 25% discount. After several emails ended up getting 33% discount & keeping the bird box. The 33% discount was returned within 7 days after agreement
CLEARLY FALSE ADVERTISING & SCAM

Ordered the bird box. It is resin/plastic very cheap. No hanging cord or story card. Has glue on the back, seams and joints glued Took over 2 weeks to arrive. Did a contact to them said l was unhappy. I can return to Hong Kong at my expense. Do not deal with this company

The score should be zero due to plastic lady versus bronze as stayed.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THIS IS A SCAM..

I saw the advert for hand carved bird box, made by Edwin of Cranbrook, Kent. He was retiring. I ordered one but luckily after about an hour I investigated Cedarandtin, saw all the reviews.
I phoned my bank, Barclays, this was on a Saturday morning. I spoke with a lovely lady who said she couldn’t stop the transaction as it was pending. She said I’ll cancel your bank card so your details can’t be sold on and then send you a new card.
She said when you receive the item, if it’s not what you ordered, we can arrange a refund. She said keep everything as proof, the advert, confirmation email, take a photo of the package when it arrives, unopened, then opened plus the goods.
It arrived in just under two weeks, well packed. Like everyone else I found a plastic replica.
I emailed cedarandtin and said the hand carved wooden bird box was a plastic thing from China. I said I’m contacting my bank. I phoned Barclays and spoke with a foreign gentleman, he was very helpful, saw what was said when I first phoned. He said he would deal with it.
An hour later the full amount was in my bank account.
Since this happened, only over one day, I’ve had three emails from cedarandtin, 1st one offering me 25% discount or return the item to China at my expense. I asked them why I was returning an item to China when it was supposed to be from Kent. 2nd one 35% discount. I’d already told them I’d got a full refund and what did they want me to do with the piece of plastic.3rd email offering as a gesture of goodwill, 50% discount.
What a scam.

Keep well away from this company, it is a total scam. I fell for the Frog Spinner advertising, claiming it is hand made by a retiring tin smith in Tasmania Australia. What I received was a piece of Chinese made rubbish, nothing like was advertised and shown on video in the promotion. The disappointment of what I received was so great that I would have preferred that they just took my money and sent nothing. This item was brought as a special present for someone, it went straight in the scrap metal bin. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

AVOID AVOID SCAM don't buy, ordered a frog wind spinner, I completely got taken in by an AI picture of Bill a retiring tin smith in Cornwall. Advertised on Google. When ordered I was advised it would arrive in 3 days, weeks later it has arrived, what a disappointment, not as described cheap and nasty made in China. I have not had a reply after complaining and wanting a refund. On the site instructions, they advice to return at my own expense to China they will then let me know if I can have a refund. What a joke. So frustrated I got taken in. AVOID

Do not touch this company, I have just received my 30cm high, hand carved wooden bird boxes.
They are not. That are 15cm high nasty plastic boxes, too small for a bird to use and be safe.
The no quibble 30 day return is also false. The website says you can use them and still return them. The returns policy, must be used in the condition they arrived and in the original packaging. Then you return them to China, not to the retiring craftsman in Cranbrook Kent. It's a scam, pure and simple. Ive only given one star because I couldn't give less.

I paid £101 for 3 hand carved bird nests . I received only 1 . It was not made of wood but some other material

Purchased bird bath / feed ornamenr for the garden supposed to be bronze it's not it plastic resin its not big enough for any small bird to bathe in it a spider perhaps the photo has been blown up so much its totally misleading and overpriced i think the trading standards should be down on them totally misleading company

Cant give ZERO... BUYER BEWARE
They LIE about the products.
I received my (wals final pour BRONZE) bird bath.... its about 10cm tall and made of cheap plastic.. JOKE

Dont bother paying for crap!!!!!!!!!

This company cannot improve owing to the fact they are no more than fraudulent scammers.
AVOID at all costs

I waited weeks for what I thought was a handmade rug from a lady called Rosalind, when it arrived it was a cheap flat printed version from China, it was lightweight and nothing handmade at all, returns policy is send back to Hong Kong, I emailed twice and got an email back saying I can either post back to China at my own cost or get 25% refunded, I told them absolutely not and I'm applying with my bank for a charge back on my card, these Chinese drop shipping scams should be banned and prosecuted for ripping people off

Waited six weeks for a handmade robust weatherproof hedgehog house. Rubbish arrived today . Few thin cheap slats of wood, huge gaps so not weatherproof. Total rip off at £90, there is not £3 of timber in the finished article. BEWARE BUYERS.

Filled out an order for 4 sets of "Bev's Handmade Bee Blossoms" at a listed price of $156, reduced from $388 (a saving of $232).
As the card payment was processed, the amount of the payment changed from $156 to $232.
The US phone number listed seems to be inactive (does not connect).
I guess this is what can be expected from a company that pretends to be selling an Australian product (in this particular instance) and to be based in the US, but has a parent registered in Hong Kong and manufactures its goods in Guangdong.

Advertised as coming from Cranbrook in Kent. Looks like it's coming from either the USA or Canada. Can't get a response to cancel my order. This is a fraudulent site in my opinion. Avoid and Beware.

Ordered a hedgehog house; It took weeks to come and is broken, not waterproof and does not follow the recomnded specs for a dwelilng for hedgehogs. Completely useless. And very expensive.

I also ordered a HAND CARVED birdbox by EDWIN THORNE. I eventually received a mass produced lump of plastic. This has cost me £37 + postage.
What a scam it is not worth £3, had I won it at a funfair instead of a goldfish I would tell them to keepit !!!!
On the bright side it;s a learning experience of what scams are allowed on the internet.
I have kept it and thier well displayed advert to show my student how scammers operate.
Pity the bodies that allow this cannot police current scammer tactics.
PS : if any one wants it for free contact me . bye bye for now

Appalling goods, SUPPOSED TO BE WOOD, BUT ARE RESIN cheap and nasty. Then when you want to return you have to send to Hong Kong, I checked the address and there were AI reports of SCAMMERS using the address and it is not a legitimate address for this company. So if you return the goods, not only do you lose original costs you will lose postage costs. PLEASE BE WARNED ⚠️

This is a terrible company. I purchased in good faith a hedgehog house. It had lots of details so I thought it was OK. I bitterly regret it after waiting 3 weeks (despite delivery being quoted as 3-5 days. What arrived was nothing like the picture on the website, I wrote to them pointing out all the details that were wrong. Their reply was for me to send it to an address in HongKong ! If I didn't want to do this then they would give me a 25% Refund. This is a scam website, you can buy the same goods on amazon and many others for a lot less, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
