My experience with British College for Professional Styling was very good. The fact that the course is self paced was a little tough since when there are no deadlines sometimes we procrastinate. But it actually came in handy these past 2 years as we all were dealing with the pandemic. In general, all the information I got from tutorials was more than amazing and considered a guideline and THE book we go back to whenever we need. The assignments were very interesting because they all involve research and this way I was more involved in the field in general. Grateful to have been part of this experience!

I have found the Profesional Stylist Course to be super insightful and give me the knowledge to start my own Personal Styling business. There are areas within style I had not even considered before and now I absolutely adore. The projects gave me first hand experience and I still use the format I used to submit assignments to send my clients their recommendations back. A really great course for anyone wanting to work within the many areas of Style.

When researching how to gain a professional qualification in styling the British College of Professional Styling really stood out for me. The fact that the course covers so many areas within the industry is amazing! The format of assignments are really easy to follow and allows you to build up a wealth of knowledge. The feedback from assignments are really prompt as well as useful and are given by tutors with both knowledge and experience within the industry. Any questions or queries I have had were answered quickly, and the college have been fantastic in supporting me to successfully complete the course. I am so glad that I decided to be a student here!

I love how comprehensive, creative and fun this course is, and being able to work at my own pace is so liberating! I have learnt so much about the world of styling and I can't wait to see where this journey will take me.

I found this course to be enlightening, informative and very enjoyable. The basics are laid out for you, starting with the most influential designers of past decades and how they came upon the designs that would influence style for decades to come. The first few tutorials are a bit like a fashion history lesson. Other than that, my favourite part was colour analysis and I can see myself going into that specific area when the course is completed.

- I have received useful feedback on my performance on tests, papers, etc.

I subscribed to the “Professional Photo, Film, TV & Personal Stylist's Course” and although I haven’t sent all the assignments yet, I have to say I really love the content of this course. I took it first because I was interested in a career as a professional stylist, but the other areas of the course are really interesting too and actually open up different perspectives. They are very detailed, they explain a lot of jargon (perfect for me, since I am not a native English speaker) and also give a real idea of what each job would be, depending on the area you are interested in.
I love the fact that we can choose at which pace we receive the different courses to suit us better, and be able to keep up with it.
The assignments are reviewed by your tutor in the same way they would be in a school, with a general comment about the most common mistakes of the class, but also a personal one, to help each student improve.
The admin team is also very prompt to answer any enquiry, which is appreciable, considering the online nature of the course.
It is probably obvious by now, but I would really recommend this course to any person who is interested in becoming a stylist, as it gives you real tools to progress and understand this world.

Studying with the British College of Professional Styling has been an insightful experience! I came across the college a few times while looking for an institution to train with. However, after months of searching, I came to the conclusion that this was the best college for me as it appeared to fit perfectly with what I hoped to achieve. I am happy to say I was not wrong and my expectations for the course were exceeded. The amount of knowledge shared was far beyond my expectations, including knowledge that I did not know I needed as a professional stylist. All I can say is thank you and keep up the great work! I 100% recommend.

I chose BCPS as they are more affordable and explain their course clearly with their syllabus on their college brochure than other online fashion styling online courses I met when I was doing some research with several online fashion styling course provider, so I enrolled.

From my opinion and experience with them, their material is great and they are making sure to update the modules to keep on with the industry standard (which what I love very much!). Also, Katharine Morris is a great tutor. She really giving constructive feedback that help me doing the assignment.

My advice is simple: if you are looking for a cool online fashion styling college, I recommend you to enroll at this college.
