A nervous trip to the test centre
The instructor came on time.
I felt like he was not serious about my test and during the 1-hour lesson, whenever I was doing observation when I moved off the car, he was in rush, asking me to do it quick. On the way I was driving to the test centre, he took his phone that I was using the GPS, to use it, making me lose directions. At first, he told me that he couldn’t bring me back home after the test and to take uber as he had somewhere to go. Only after I insisted that he had to as I paid £550 for taking me both to and from the test center, he agreed to drive me back home. He also paused on the way a few mins, saying that there was no place to wait and they wouldn’t allow us in >10min before the test, which made me nervous about not making the test in time. As the parking area mentioned in DVLA email was quite confusing, I only managed to arrive at the test centre just in time after finding the right place. Fortunately, I passed the test, but the way to the test center was quite a nervous trip for me tbh. On the way home, he was nice and ok though.

I’d just like to clarify that your DVSA confirmation email clearly stated that your test was at 351 Anniesland Road, Glasgow, G13 1XS, together with the instructions on where candidates should park and wait. During the journey there was some confusion regarding the location, as you believed the test was taking place at the previous community centre. The instructor explained throughout that the test was at 351 Anniesland Road, Glasgow, G13 1XS, in line with the DVSA confirmation, and ensured you arrived at the correct test centre in good time for your test.
I’d also like to clarify that a return journey home was never part of our original booking agreement. However, as a gesture of goodwill, the instructor was happy to take you home after your test.
I’m pleased that you passed your driving test and wish you many years of safe and enjoyable driving.

Shazad was a life saver
Shazad was a life saver my other car booking let me down last minute but he saved me having to cancel my test which he also helped me prepare for and ended up passing.
Great service would recommend if need last minute car hire, friendly and supper clean car.

Passed my test with instructor Shahzad
I was in an urgent situation to hire a car and I am glad that found this amazing company,the process was very easy and simple to book the car for test day ,car was clean and in a very good condition and most importantly the instructor Shahzad ,he was extremely helpful ,he boosted my confidence a lot and gave me helpful pointers which really helped me during the test.i really recommend them to anyone who want an excellent reliable instructor ,especially if you’re in a last minute situation like I was.

I passed my test today with Abbas
I passed my test today and I just want to say a massive thank you to Abbas - honestly an outstanding service from start to finish.
From the moment he picked me up, everything was spot on. Abbas was calm, clear, professional, and really reassuring throughout. He has a way of putting you at ease straight away while still keeping you focused on exactly what matters. That balance made a huge difference for me.
The 2-hour session before the test was exactly what I needed. Everything felt structured, purposeful, and tailored to getting me fully prepared. By the time I got to the test, I felt confident and ready.
Using his car for the test was another big plus - clean, easy to drive, and already familiar, which takes a lot of pressure off on the day. Even getting dropped back after just shows the level of service.
It’s clear from the off that Abbas genuinely cares to help you as much as possible. It’s not just about getting through a lesson - he’s fully invested in helping you pass and making sure you’re in the best position to do it.
I’m genuinely grateful. Passing today means a lot to me and Abbas played a big part in that.
If you’ve got a test coming up, I couldn’t recommend this service enough.

1st attempt pass Herne Bay
Shazad was great! The time with him prior to the test was very helpful with him giving me time to get to know the clutch as well as telling me tips on the exam that I hadn’t found in my preparation. 1st attempt pass with only 2 minor faults at Herne Bay.

I did my test at Knaresborough
I did my test at Knaresborough. I haven’t been driving for almost 2 months. He could help me with doing parking and stuff like that and warmed up everything just before the test. I almost forgot everything. With his help, I passed my test for first time.

Hired a car for my driving test
I recently hired a car for my driving test and had a great experience overall. The process was smooth and well organized, which helped reduce a lot of the stress that usually comes with test day.
A special mention goes to the instructor, Shazad. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process. His punctuality was impressive—he arrived right on time and ensured everything was ready well before the test. That level of reliability really helped me stay calm and focused.
What stood out the most was how clearly he explained manoeuvres. Shazad shared several practical tips and techniques that made complex manoeuvres much easier to understand and execute. His guidance was straightforward, patient, and very effective.

Had my instructor cancel 2 days before test
Had my instructor cancel 2 days before my test because of car issues. Shazad came in and let me use his car for it and i passed. Really helped me out and was nice and friendly even helping me with understanding the reference points in his car.

Great instructor!
I booked Shazad the night before my test, and he was willing to give me a lesson and take me to the test, which was about 40 minutes away. He was patient and provided the last-minute confidence I needed to pass. I think he’s a great instructor and would highly recommend him!

just nothing to rate here - service is not available
just nothing to rate here, two business days passed and nobody replied to me after booking via website, writing to whatsapp, calling and sms in reply to their auto-reply message after the call. I first though it was just Friday after 12PM, but nothing changed on Monday and Tuesday.
Maybe they worked a year ago and were OK - who knows now. It looks like nobody wants to make money in the UK, cause I got nothing from 2 more companies like this (but they replied at least).

Quick, easy, and passed my test!
I'm from the US and needed to take a driving test to get my license here. I contacted Test Day Car about a test a schedule with only a 7 day notice. They replied quickly and set it up. On the day of the test, they were there on time, very friendly and clean car. We did a 1 hour lesson before the test just to tell me about the hacks and things they'd be looking for. Great experience with them and aced the test without any previous lessons here in the UK (I do have 15 years of driving experience in the US). Highly recommend them for my exact situation or anything similar.
