Excellent Value for money. Saved £400
I had to renew my Policy and my old insurer wanted to add over £350 to my premium because I got a speeding fine (37 in a 30mph). When I got a quote from Brightside it came out over £400 cheaper than my existing Insurer after adding the 3 points!

Total RIP-OFF!
I had a very disappointing experience with Brightside Insurance. I was with them for only one month before terminating the policy, during which I was charged an extremely high amount. When I decided to cancel early, I was informed that I needed to settle an outstanding amount. I requested a double-check of the amount, and the agent confirmed that they had both verified it internally and cross-checked it with the underwriter.
However, after I settled the amount, they informed me a week later of a new outstanding balance. I filed a complaint with their customer service, but the final response provided neither reflected the truth nor offered any help in resolving the issue. It feels like a complete scam.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid Brightside Insurance. They are unreliable and seem more interested in taking your money than providing reasonable service.
Update: I tried to talk with the FOS, but they said it's too late for them to react...
I wasted the time to liaise with the misleading/wrong info from the insurer's final response...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really sorry to hear that you was charged a high amount to cancel your policy. The cancellation charges are confirmed in the terms and conditions of the policy. However, I understand how frustrating this must have been once you had already settled the balance. I can see you have logged a complaint with us already. If you're not happy with the final outcome, you have the right to take your complaint to the financial ombudsman within 6 months.
