I received a PCN from 28th of January…
I received a PCN from 28th of January 2022 for 2 hour stay which is what I paid a ticket for I was within the time.
I have emailed numerous times tried the contact number had no response now received a letter saying I owe £160 ???
I found this website and would like someone to look into this please or please respond to my emails as I have had no response when I put my reg an pcn in the checker to appeal ... it says a ticket cannot be found
is can someone please help with this issue as I would not like court proceedings on my record PCN No: 14157

We parked at the baltic market 17.5.21…
We parked at the baltic market 17.5.21 and paid £5 12 hours and stayed for approx 2 hours. We have never received anything in the form of letter/email/phone call from this company yet today been informed we have a CCJ in our name put in place by them to pay £285. I have a bank statement showing date and time of payment. No way of speaking to anyone. If we dont pay £285 in 7 days we have a permanent CCJ. For something that is clearly theyre own error and clearly has happened numerous times before. Outrageous behaviour for a business. Currently dealing with trying to have our anme cleared, something we shouldnt have to do when we did everything correctly on our part in the first place.
One day from receiving letter to appeal!! It`s a disgrace!
I received a letter on the 15th January (dated 24th December) saying I had a parking fine! I knew I had paid to park so went about checking bank statements last night. Today the 16th January I have just gone to fill in the appeal and it is saying 28 days has passed! How does that give me time to find out the details and the information I need to appeal.
So now I`m expected to pay £60 on top of the parking I paid on the day! This is an absolute joke and just to rub it in the phone number is all automated so I can't speak to anyone or even find an email to write to.
It`s a disgrace fining people who have actually paid and have proof but then have no way of appealing. If the alleged offence was on the 21st December and having read your 28 days from day after ticket that gives me a right of appeal up to the 19th January 2022 - 3 days from now!!!!!!!!

My daughter used the car park at the rear of Baltic Market as it was close to her college, the payment machine would not accept her card for payment and having search for change for a full days parking @ £5 the machine took the money but only advised £4.50 had been inserted, due to her mock exam my daughter had to print the ticket and go to college, 2 weeks later she got a £60 ticket but on appeal Brewerygate cancelled the fee due to the circumstances, glad to see they have a personal touch and commonsense approach.
From the worst day to a happy ending
I received an unexpected letter this morning regarding a parking penalty notice. I was fuming as I was 100% certain of the time and place a remember purchasing a ticket at the pay and display machine. After i queried the fine and explained I had definitely paid I promptly received a response asking for my PCN number so they could check. On investigation they discovered that I did I did purchase a ticket but had accidentally typed the last letter of my plate number in. A genuine mistake which they were very kind to acknowledge and therefore cancelled my fine. Overall response time was excellent and my query was dealt with very professionally. Not a bad word to say about brewery gate ltd.
Is this 'really' how a bonafide company operates
So, as a major breakdown service operator we inevitably fall foul of the parking charlatans throughout the city we operate and normally to their credit the process to have the parking charge cancelled is straightforward. I have to agree with the past post regarding a 'mobile phone number' as a main contact number. If anything activates my 'spider senses' its a black and white piece of paper made to look official with a mobile phone number printed on it. Call me old fashioned but after running a successful business for over 38 years, its my humble opinion that its best to portray a more professional image when demanding money for nothing! No answer on the phone, straight to voicemail, really! Straight away it gives the impression that your dealing with opportunists. The previous review was actually unfair, there is plenty of info as to how to make further contact however don't expect a better standard of service from the 'zataappeal' website. Submit your appeal, down load your evidence, press submit and its gone. No confirmation of submission, no return email to acknowledge your submission, then sit back and wait for the 2nd threatening letter promising court action! This is exactly what has happened to ourselves. That may work with the 'little people' they profiteer on however it fails to gain them anything other than an appointment in court to explain their shambolic approach to parking enforcement, when dealing with a company that has a really good legal team and collateral funds at their disposal. Best approach, send a letter, recorded delivery and ensure its signed for. keep the evidence and the rest is plain sailing. Pointless complaining about these 'pirates' unless your prepared to do battle! Maybe ill get a response proving me wrong about their questionable antics in which case I will write an apology, right here and retract my observations. Lets see
Quick update, I did say that if I had a reply to prove me wrong I would retract my observations. Well, to my absolute surprise, the very next morning after posting my review I received a response from said company. It was brief, to the point but professional. I resubmitted my appeal via a different platform and within 24 hours the parking charge was cancelled. As I have stated previously, I deal with lots of issues such as this and quite frankly I am very impressed with Brewery gates professional approach in monitoring and dealing with input. I’m not re posting because I’ve saved the cost of a parking ticket, to be honest the amount is incidental however I feel that when a company is prepared to deal with concise articulate negative feed back, it’s only fair to recognise their attempts to resolve the issue. Few companies do, but all credit to these guys they did and have. So to all you ‘keyboard warriors’ out there who take to the review sites, the minute your chips are cold from the Golden Arches (they always are!) there are some companies who will resolve an issue given the opportunity. Thanks to brewery gate for their input and proactive approach

This car park gets some bad feedback when I searched for the cains brewery car park. I couldn't figure out how to extend my ticket when I was parking so gave up in the end. Then I read the reviews and thought I'd best try and get in touch. The company have assured me they have cancelled the fine and didn't even accept the extra payment I offered for my 40 minute over run. Cant really argue with that so get in touch with them via email if you couldn't pay for whatever reason. I gave 4 stars as I do think the signs could be clearer how to extend any paid for tickets

They say u can appeal, but they don't say how and to where , or if there is any form for appeal.
