Great company
Great company, found online after trying to hire a platform only finding extortionate prices.
This company had exactly what I needed at half the cost.
Ordered online after a quick phone call to their offices with a quick question. Staff very pleasant and informative.
I was kept up to date with delivery times and drivers dropping and picking up were great. I will use this company again and will recommend to others. Thanks Brandon Hire and staff a great company with great prices

Machinery is ageing and expensive to hire.
The good bit-the machine was delivered and collected on time and worked fine for 2 days.
The not-so-good bit-there is no refund on unused petrol (there was at least half a tank left on my return) which means Brandon are making a lot of money by charging for a full tank every time.
The less good bit-the machine was aged and past its best and expensive to hire for an old machine-although it did not pack up!

The price they quote is not correct. …
Be very careful about the price they quote you for hiring equipment. I asked several times for the hire costs for a laser level. I was given a figure of £88 for the week and a £30 delivery fee. In reality when I returned the item they had not included VAT costs in their quote and they charged me delivery at £60. Twice the value compared to what was quoted. So on return of the Laser level I was charged a large extra amount. Be very very careful with this firm on what they quite you it does not reflect what they charge you. If I have to use them again I will insist on a written quote so they can’t do this to me again. Very bad experience.

Support from call centre was seriously lacking
The staff at the branch ( Kings lynn) were excellent, and very helpful. However the online/ call centre seriously lacked support. I needed a VAT receipt in the name of the organisation I hired it for and they failed to support this on every level. The moral of this tale is don't book online, call into your nearest depot and do it face to face. Another example of faceless online booking experience
