This has been a nightmare and Blue Motor have been working against me in favour of the Trade Centre at Rochdale (also avoid). I had my car for 3 weeks before it had serious faults and broke down. An independent report confirmed the faults were there at the point of sale. Unfortunatley, someone crashed into me 3 weeks after buying the car, despite the car not working again and confirmation that the accident did not cause the issues, they said as I was not in the 30 day rejection period the Trade Centre had to fix it. They have had my car since 18 Feb and it is still not fixed. Blue Motor confirmed they had given the dealer until Thursday 19 March to repair the car and if this wasn't sorted by then Blue Motor would consider the options including a rejection. I have chased them up today and they have said they still haven't heard back from the dealer. It is just delay tactic after delay. I need a car for my job (essential car user) so I have had to buy a cheap run around, so I am paying for 2 lots of insurance and 2 lots of car tax plus a monthly car loan of £258 for a car I can't even use! There is no end in sight for this to be resolved. I have complained to the Financial Ombudsman, but Blue Motor don't seem to care about this. I have anxiety and depression and my mental health is dire at the moment due to this. Avoid them at all costs!!
Update regarding their response: A senior is already dealing with this and has been since January!

Absolutely diabolical company, my daughter found the car of her dreams and unfortunately it was this company that the dealer used.My daughter went through the process and was told yes they would give her the finance and bear in mind she had to give a photo of her licence which was a provisional which it clearly states on it, she was then told 5 mins later they could not do it as it was a provisional and needed a guarantor which could not be me as did not live at same address which is absolutely B!!!!!!! . As far as I am aware finance has nothing to do with a person's driving capability especially as another well known company had said they would finance a car .
So all in all absolutely would walk away if the dealer says it is blue motor finance they use

This company will deliberately put you in debt.
They work alongside dodgy back street garages, no protection for the customer in using 'finance' it's a complete scam. Senior members as they say will contact you back and all they do is read from a script. Say a vehicle can't be returned in the cooling off if it meets reasonable standard but the vehicle I purchased doesn't as it has been poorly repaired and devalued by easily 10k! how is that reasonable?
My circumstances have also changed and I am not in a financial position to uphold payments this is all within 48 hours and they refuse to accept a vehicle back and watch someone struggle! the dealership even confirmed they would accept the vehicle back on a so called recorded call and now denying knowledge and still the finance company turn a blind eye.

"this is incorrect for regulated consumer HP agreements. According to UK legal regs you can cancel a regulated car finance agreement within 14 days under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, this applies to HP, PCP, and conditional sale agreements. The 14 day cooling off period begins on the day you sign, you can withdraw without penalty by notifying the provider. Car buyers with finance agreements have a 14 day right to withdrawal which legally cancels the finance agreement
This applies to HP and PCP

Complete con no safety in finance protection what so ever ! Work alongside the dodgy dealership selling rip off badly repaired vehicles!!!

I was having difficulty in my repayments they gave me a breathing space and sign posted me to debt charities to help me, also gave me options with my vehicle.

If I was able to give this place zero stars I absolutely would, run from blue motor finance at all cost. I have had the worst experience with this finance company, and I will never in my life do any type of deal with them and will warn everyone I can about this company. Firstly, if you change your mind about not wanting to do a finance agreement with them, they try and say that you (the individual) can’t cancel it; they have to get the cancellation from the dealership- which I’ve never ever heard of. For over a month I have tried to sort my issue with them and a dodgy dealership that they are partnered with and have been given the complete run around. After multiple calls, multiple complaints and misinformation from different colleagues and employees, the situation has only been resolved over a MONTH later. They refuse to help when I explained to them the difficulties I was facing with a part exchange that didn’t go through (I never had the car in my possession and had cancelled the sale the day after the agreement went live) with them still holding me liable for a car that I never even had. They refused to contact the dealership and said they don’t talk directly to the dealership, yet when it came down to putting the sale through originally their employees were calling directly to make sure the deal was finalised. Run as far as you can from this company, they only care about commission and profits, not the people. Dealing with them has affected my mental health severely, with me waking up everyday worrying about this issue that I received no help from them to help rectify. If blue motor finance is offered to you for your finance, look for a better deal elsewhere as fast as you can, they are the worst!

these guys have been great so much better than the last company i took finance out with, prompt responses, always kept me up to date with the next steps and were really helpful in advocating for me with troubles i had with the selling dealership special thanks to samuel my case handler he did a great job would deffo recommend if taking out finance to go with a company that go the extra mile like this

I got a car on finance and had problems with it in first 3 months and they were no help at all and were shocking with communication, the dealership accepted and paid 3500 towards the bill, however no contribution from blue motor finance which I find shocking considering they own the car so are just as responsible as the dealership, definitely would’t recommend and as soon as I can refinance I will be getting away from this shocking company.

do not go with this company
if you want to reject a car within the first 14 days, as you can under the Consumer Rights act, Blue Motor will tell you they wont accept a rejection of the purchase
have complained to the ombudsman and awaiting their response.
Blue is dodgy and dont abide by consumer rights

Blue Motor Finance Ltd financed a vehicle with active safety recalls, including a clutch-related fire risk, all publicly verifiable on the DVLA/DVSA website.
Despite clear evidence, they denied the existence of any recalls, delayed matters since the 18th of October 2025, and continued to demand payments while the vehicle was unsafe and off the road.
They incorrectly stated that agreeing to a repair removed my right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, then issued a late “final response” claiming the complaint was upheld while offering no remedy, followed by threats of storage fees to force collection.
The matter is now with the Financial Ombudsman Service. This conduct raises serious concerns around fair treatment, accuracy of information, and consumer safety.
