Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Blix Bikes has zero/no customer service report. You will NEVER be able to reach a person on their phone number. You will be asked to submit a request to an email and then they will ask you to fill out a form. The form will inevitably break so you have to re-email the support person who promises a response from a technician in 3-5 days. I'm going on close to 10 days of waiting now. All of his and they sent me a defective and unsafe to ride bicycle. I rode 13 miles and 7 pieces fell off of the bike. I am pretty sure they scammed me by selling me a returned item as if it was new. There was no damage to the packaging yet the bike had dents and scratches and the battery was scuffed.

DO NOT BUY THE BLIX PACKA!!

DO NOT BUY THE BLIX PACK!!! Worst $2300 I EVER WASTED! DO NOT PUT YOUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN ON THE BACK OF THIS BIKE! IT IS TOO DANGEROUS. I have fallen off this bike for the last time. I was seriously injured last fall. Got it out to take on vacation this spring and the big battery wouldn't charge. We were all ready to go before I realized it but I knew the second battery would be sufficient. I have had this bike less than a year and have under 150 miles on it. Today I had to stop quickly and it thru me off and the front wheel broke so now I have a very expensive paper weight. We have to tie it to the back of the camper just to get it home. It is a beautiful bike to look at but DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE UNLESS YOU ARE A 300 POUND MALE BODYBUILDER. It is DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH AND WELL BEING. The motor is not strong enough to start on any kind of incline without tipping over. The only time I have not been afraid to ride this bike is when I am on a completely flat road with no hills, no traffic, no turns but otherwise when riding on a flat road it is ok. Again, the biggest waste of money I think I have ever spent!

Great service

Exceptional service. I needed some help with troubleshooting my Packa and everyone in the support has been super friendly and the level of service and attention and help I got has been nothing but impressive. Thank Blix team. Also love the bike it rides like a dream.

Total garbage save u money or buy a pedego

The packa came with missing bolts they won’t send me the paid for components. They said I’d get 2 batteries onky got on . The front wheel is warped causing the tire to wear thin, Gid forbid it blows out , I take blood thinners so if I went down cause the wheel caused a blow out it would be time to call my lawyer . The headlight doesn’t work

. The seat is super wobbly , not assembled correctly I assume . Customer serious is the worst . They say send it back. I laughed them bix is all mangled it came that way . Tgey know I can’t send it back . Only 5 gears and the buttons with the arrows only work if u push and hold a few times , very dangerous .

Stay away it’s a garbage bike from a company with awful customer service .

Do not by a blix your wasting $2000. I owner a pedego before and loved it , never an issue in 5 years. More gearing an easier ride , much easier to control speed too. If they don’t send me my money back or a new bike I’ll just call bbb and all the local media .

Do not buy a blix it’s over priced garbage . I mean who forgets to send the bolts needed , who would send a warped wheel . Terrible or duct . Buy a pedego. I’ll try to sell this crap bike for a few hundred and take the $1700 loss . I’ve owned electric bike over 10 years so I know them well.

Save ur money it’s unreliable , cant see screen with ur driving info and speed when it’s sunny . Overall the bike along with lousy customer service is a rip off . It’s unsafe to ride with the warped when and warped whelk and missing bolts. Ohh also the seat is poorly engineered. It wobbles all over the place , it’s scary at times .

I love my bike frame but that’s it

I love my bike frame, but as others have stated the customer service is severely lacking. Just a few months into owning my bike it stopped working. Blix did send a new controller, which didn’t help. The customer service replies left me feeling like they didn’t even read the message. They keep asking for a video. A video of something not working? How would they tell in the video the PAS isn’t working? I’m supposed to ride my bike one-handed in freezing weather while filming? Not to mention it takes several days to hear back. But worst of all- I left a two star review on the bike on their website and it never showed up. So shady.

Complete Lack of Response

I've purchased 2 Blix bikes and also encouraged my friends to buy 2 bikes. They had problems with their battery and Blix has been completely unresponsive. I offered to reach out due to my prior relationship with Blix and they were also unresponsive to me. While I love my Blix bike, I am completely underwhelmed by their customer service and support for folks experiencing a challenge with repairs or maintenance. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Blix bike- buyer beware

Honestly, if you are looking for a great ebike, we loved the sales team and our bikes up until my battery faltered. If you are looking for quality customer care with your experience as an existing customer, it appears they will leave you out in the cold.

As one would expect, my battery died after providing me hours of fun. Supplies are hard these days to secure. I understand. For 4 months, I was understanding but stayed active checking in. Finally a support team member secured a battery but I had to use a 3rd party for the charger. I was uncomfortable, but eager to ride. I trusted their tech support team to find a compatible charger that I could purchase. I bought the $700 battery first, then immediately tried to buy the charger. The link did not help me purchase a charger. The same day I bought the battery but couldn't secure a charger, I immediately communicated that I did not want the battery without the ability to charge it and to not send the battery until I knew I could secure a charger. The next day, they shipped it.

When I emailed and called for help, both support reps said there was nothing they could do at this point or for any foreseen future, as far as getting a charger from their manufacturer. The tech rep re-sent the link to the charger. The second attempt to send a link did get me to the product but the 3rd party company could not process the order. Again, I reached out to BLIX for support. Out of frustration I jokingly said I needed to just get a new ebike (meaning from another company) and the rep told me about a new offer for $100 off an ebike.... complete with....a battery and charger.....

I reached out to every outlet through BLIX and no one responded to offer support or a better resolution to this predicament the company put me in. I inquired about talking to someone in management and it seems that wasn't possible.

I had to talk to other professionals outside of this company to see how I could protect myself and stop them from sending me this battery with no charger. I had to open up a dispute with my credit card company as a last result.

Knowing they have the bike, battery and charger waiting on new customers to purchase but leave existing customers without resources was a huge disappointment.

I can't even get through on any number…

I can't even get through on any number of their phone lines. I have questions that can be answered by phone, but I also would like to test ride. I've hung up three times after being on hold for 10+ minutes. Twice the call/hold ended on their end by disconnect. On to search for a different brand now.

I got my Blix Aveny 3 weeks ago

I got my Blix Aveny 3 weeks ago. I have had several problems but I am still able to ride the bike. I have had some frustration and customer service issues but honestly they have done everything possible to correct the issues and with a bit of patience I know I am going to years of love on this bike.
I bought the bike for the style and my needs, knowing e bikes are still really new and while I hate to say it the pandemic really did throw a monkey wrench in the entire scheme of it all.
My bike arrived 4 weeks after I ordered it, I'm a 65 year old woman and I unpacked and assembled it in 2 hours and rode soon after. I have had a rear motor or breaking problem but they (Sherise) has worked closely with me and the replacement parts are on the way.
Its a beautiful bike, be patient and it will love you back.

Worst customer service experience I've…

Worst customer service experience I've experienced. Shipping delayed 90+ days, limited communication and when queried, it's in a container coming soon, then I ask why Blix website reflects I can order the same bike today and it'll ship in 2-3 business days, yet the one I ordered 90 days ago has not shipped. It's called bait and switch, false advertising - they charge your credit card for the full price of the bike and then use your money for 90+ days to float their business. Customer service although you do get to speak with a human, they don't offer apologies or work with you on anything - it's like take it or leave it if you don't like it - sincerely don't think they've managed their success very well - poor customer service, marketing clarity, website userability and leadership. Recent email offered 50% off accessories for labor day, since the bike ordered in June was delivered yesterday, figured I'd add a rear rack, but you have to buy a bike to get the discount, even though I did buy a bike and just got it 90+ days later. This company is crying out for someone to lead them through their success versus their ultimate failure when more and more folks have the same experience. Company needs to cease their false advertising of products they cannot deliver in a reasonable amount of time or discontinue charging customers for products they cannot deliver within 30-60 days, which seems more than reasonable. Most retailers do not charge for products they don't have in stock and have no clue when those products will be available. The ones that do charge, work with the customer to assure they are kept informed of the delivery timeline. Blix website and IT is seriously lacking, I received an email that my battery was shipping separately and when it arrived prior to the bike that was still on a boat, Blix asked me via email how much I loved my bike - after venting for a while, told them it was hard to rate the bike when riding just the battery on the floor with no bike to place it on made it difficult to submit a fair review. Does my wife like the bike after waiting 90+ days - yes, would I ever buy anything from Blix again - NOPE... Serious lessons learned dealing with Blix - will not repeat them, even if they lowered prices, which now of course they've raised prices... Destined for failure with poor customer service, misleading/false marketing and website interoperability.

Blix- Horrible product/Horrible customer service. Don't do it!

I ordered a blix bike online. It was delayed by 2 months first. Then when it did arrive, after an hour of assembling, found that it was welded wrong! The forks on the front of the bike were uneven. It took me 15 emails to try to get a resolution. I wanted a new bike sent, but they were of little help. They told me I needed to take the bike to a local shop and they could send me the new fork to install myself. I ended up having to send this piece of junk bike (do they not have a quality control person to see that a major part of the bike is welded wrong?) back. It was a ton of work to pack this thing up to return. So after about 3 months, 3 hours of effort assembling, unassembling, packing, an hour or two on my computer...I have never been so happy to rid myself of anything in my life. They never even offered to send a new bike, or apologize. They suggested it was damaged during shipping (the front fork was re-welded in transit!?) Horrible product, horrible customer service. I bought an Aventon and it is a dream. Came in a week in perfect condition!

Quick to charge credit card, months later, no bike

I ordered 2 Blix Sol bikes on 3/7/2021. They charged my credit card immediately. 4/30 I received an email stating that one of the bikes had shipped via FEDEX.
For days FEDEX had no record of this. This one bike was finally delivered 5/20. It is 6/23 and I'm still waiting for the second bike. Blix customer service wrote "Your order will ship out 6/11". On 6/18 I receive an email indicating that it had shipped but at this time FEDEX has no record of this. I suspect all Blix did was print the shipping label. Aargh! I would not even think about buying a bike from this manufacturer.

Great hobby bike to take up space in the garage

In over a year of owning my bloc packa I was only able to be about 130 miles out of it, with two motor failures and a lot of repairs. I tried getting help but they kept having me try tedious changes and cord swaps that did not fix the issues but did take a ton of time. Get this bike if you enjoy bike maintenance and hate bike riding.

Bike not delivered

I ordered a bike in July, and was told it would be delivered sometime in August. However, August is over and the bike has still not even shipped. It should not take over a month to deliver a bike to a customer in the same state, and if it somehow does the company should not advertise faster shipping.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been waiting for an entire year for a part and I don't think I will be getting it ever. A cheap product with lots of money spent on marketing. A little further research on the company and I find that the CEO was previously part of H&M which is notorious for cheaply made clothing that look good for a month. This bike is no exception to that.
