Bike Add-Ons

I purchased the fenders after getting my bike from a woman who had k ly rode the bike a few times. Since I wanted to ride near the beach, and its rains a lot in our area, the fenders made sense. I purchased them and they don’t fit the bike!! Even comparing the photos of the product, to what they sent me was incorrect. The photos online matched what my bike needed, but not what they sent me. I have spent over 6 months now and no resolution. Their communication is awful and they don’t respond. I have to message 3 times for them to give me a vague response. Do not buy any of the extra pieces. Do not work with this company if you expect any sort of customer service.

Blix Sol Eclipse servicing

Blix Sol Eclipse. A beautifully designed and finished electric bike. But, their customer support system and parts availability is pathetic. Three months of flawless operation before intermittent power losses were traced to a faulty controller and/or battery by a Blix approved dealer and service center. No “in stock” replacement parts available through Blix HQ in California or the dealer which resulted in a very long wait of 6 weeks before a controller arrived from China. The replacement controller was installed and tested by the dealer, the bike taken home only to discover power losses continued. Blix finally ordered a replacement battery - again from China - that was delivered directly to me after another very long wait. The battery’s locking pin was a different shape (we think an older version) that prevented it from locking it inside the cradle - rendering it useless on our bike. With all the needless customer support delays and missed riding opportunities, my wife and I decided we’d had enough disappointment and donated it to charity. A very costly error. The Better Business was notified. If you’re considering a Blix product, you’ve been warned. We have replaced the Blix with another brand.

No update, no refund, no bike.

This company refuses to give any updates about the status of their equipment. I purchased a bike three weeks ago and they still have it pending, a week ago I requested a refund due to the lack of professional service. After calling and being assured I’d get a refund and an email stating as such due to the bike still in a “pending status”, nothing. It’s been an additional week with no updates and no refund with only an hour of waiting on the phone for customer support.

Order from one of their many reputable competitors, do NOT support this fraudulent business

It’s been a month since I purchased and they have yet to ship my complete order. I continue to ask for updates and they haven’t responded to any of my emails. The battery they sent with the bike does not fit and I am awaiting the correct battery as well as the second one I paid for, along with the accessories for the bike.
Truly I have never had a worse ordering or customer service experience. I regret ordering with them. There are many companies in the e-bike space that won’t lie and will provide decent customer support.

I purchased a brand-new bike and was…

I purchased a brand-new bike and was shocked when the internal seat post clamp broke after only the third use. This is a critical component, and its failure so quickly points to very poor quality.

I contacted customer service immediately and provided detailed photos of both the broken clamp and the intact part. Despite this, they still asked me to confirm which part was broken—something I had already clearly documented. This caused unnecessary delays.

It’s now been several days, and I still haven’t received the replacement part. This clamp isn’t something I can find or buy elsewhere, so I’ve been left with an unusable bike and no meaningful help. For a new product, this is unacceptable.

Reading through the other reviews, it’s clear my experience is not unique. I regret not checking Trustpilot beforehand.

I cannot get replacement parts.

I cannot get replacement parts for current models. I have a Blix Packa, and despite customer service at Blix telling me that my controller is a part that ships on current bikes, they have not been able to get a replacement controller in stock for 6 months. I had the bike in service for about 18 months before the controller failed.

Worst Customer Support Ever

First, I would like to state that I have no issues with Blix's products. I bought my Blix Aveny 5 years ago. I have over 6000 miles on that bike and as of today, the only things I needed to replace was tires, brake pads, and a few broken spokes. So in Nov 2024 I baught my wife a Blix Sol Eclipse Cruiser. After 150 miles the battery stopped charging and I requested a warranty replacement from Blix on Jan 2. On Jan 6 the US Tech agreed and submitted a waranty replacment request. On Jan 8 it was "approved". And then I waited, and waited. Finally on Feb 2 they sent my an order number, BUT COULD NOT GIVE ME AN APPROX SHIPPING DATE. Then on Feb 12, they asked me to return the defected battery. I said I would as soon as they sent me a tracking number for my new one. Then I waited and waited, complained a few times and waited some more. Finally on Mar 31, UPS delivered a new battery to me, 3 months after the failure was reported. And my story does not end here. The battery they sent me DOES NOT fit my bike! Haven't heard from them yet. So understand the lack of professionalism this company has before you purchase their products. My wife's bike is still useless 3 months after reporting a warranty issue

They talk a good story but now 3 months into a battery warranty replacement and guess what NO battery, no communication nobody’s ever available and the phone number just rings and tells you to call during THEIR convent hours 12-4 pacific time all a farce going to reverse CC card payment of two years for non performance of warranty, see if that does the trick

Worst purchasing experience I've ever…

Worst purchasing experience I've ever had. Ordered two bikes. Both came a month late and damaged due to extremely cheap packaging. Delivery of the bikes was so bad, it deserves a whole separate thread.

Received return labels on the bikes, plus accessories. They've had all returns in their possession for 4 weeks. Still no refund. For two solid weeks, could not get anyone to answer the phone or reply to an email.

Finally received a response. Was told my situation had been "escalated" to management. That was a week ago. Still no refund.

If this isn't the worst online retailer on the planet, they are definitely in the top five.

Review: “Terrible Customer Service – No Refund, No Response!”

Review:

I purchased this bike expecting a smooth experience, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The bike itself was extremely heavy, making it nearly impossible to carry up and down the stairs. It was completely impractical for my needs, so I had to return it.

However, the real issue is the terrible customer service. Despite returning the bike, I have yet to receive my refund. I’ve sent multiple emails, and they haven’t even bothered to respond. It’s frustrating and unacceptable to be ignored after spending my hard-earned money.

I would not recommend buying from this company unless you’re willing to risk poor service and potentially losing your money. Still waiting for my refund!

DON'T buy a Blix bike!!!!

DON'T buy a Blix bike!!!!! I'm stuck with a $2500 paperweight!!!!! I've spent months, replaced two controllers, a wiring harness, and a display and still have no throttle, no pas, and the display still reads 0% battery charge on a fully charged battery!! I've since bought an ebike off of Amazon and have yet to have any problems (for a 1/3 the price, and I hate Amazon). Don't buy from Blix! Buy from anyone else and save yourself a fricken headache!!

waiting and waiting

I submitted an order on July 1 and today (August 28) I received only some parts... they are very disorganized; they charge me in full $2500 and my bike is not completed. The summer is over soon.
It will be great if they notice me in advance that the bike will be in back order. The message was it will be shipped in 5-8 days.. totally false.

Bke is 6 Years old, display screen for power stops work. BLIX sorry we don't have a part to replace the unit. Worth bike now, going to scrap it. For what they charge you'd think they'd warehouse parts WT F

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware!

We ordered two Sol Eclipse Cruisers with one color Sorbet and the other Seafoam. Both bikes included free fenders, rear rack and front baskets.

About 4 July 2024, four boxes were received which included all fenders, two front baskets and one rear rack. There were not any instructions with these boxes. On July 7 2024 the main part of the Seafoam cruiser was received and included step by step instructions for assembly. What the instructions did not include was a heads up that instructions for the basket, fenders and rear rack had to be downloaded from the Blix website and should be reviewed BEFORE starting the assembly of the main part of the bike. As a result, I completed the assembly of the bike, downloaded instructions for the free parts and then had to undo part of the bike assembly to install the free fenders, and front basket. I had also downloaded instructions for the rear rack, but the instructions did not match the rear racks I had received. I called Blix and was told they would have to email me the correct instructions for the rear rack.
On 10 July 2024 I received the Sorbet colored cruiser and was able to assemble the bike and free stuff without the hassle involved with the first bike. Better communication from Blix would have prevented the hassle with the first bike received. Also, if a rider needs the seat all the way down on the post, you cannot install the rear reflector on the seat post.

Do we like the bikes? Absolutely, but our experience would have been much better if Blix had provided better instructions for the assembly of the bikes.

Blix not shipping new orders

Ordered a Blix Ultra bike with numerous accessories on June 22nd. Total cost $2,052 thanks to heavy discounts. Unfortunately I still don't have the bike, and the shipping company (SEKW) has no record of the bike, despite Blix customer support indicating that the bike was shipped. While Blix customer support has been helpful, it's clear the company has serious logistic issues and can't satisfy orders. I'll be asking for refund.

Exceptional Company

Reviewing the company and the bike I purchased, Vika Flex. When I initially received the bike, there were a few minor issues that required attention from my local bike shop. Once those were fixed, the bike proved to be dependable and performed well in a variety of weather and road conditions. I used it almost daily and was very satisfied with its performance. Recently, however, I encountered an unforeseen problem with the battery, which would have required a replacement. After reaching out to Blix to report the issue, I received a call from a corporate office representative who was genuinely interested in hearing about my experience and finding a solution. I was impressed by the dedication to customer satisfaction and the willingness to pursue a reasonable outcome. It made it clear that Blix upholds high standards and values the integrity of their brand. I am giving Blix five stars not only for the quality and performance of the bike, but also for the exceptional customer service and dedication to resolving issues. It is important for customers to understand that issues can arise, but it is how a company navigates these challenges that truly reflects its credibility and commitment to its customers. Blix has earned my confidence and loyalty with their exceptional service.

I’ve had to deal with blix over and…

I’ve had to deal with blix over and over because of battery issues. No bike shop will service. I’ve been trying to get the charger that actually works with the battery and they go through a third who won’t ship. Over and over I have a bike I can’t ride!
