This was my first time purchasing from BlackMilk mainly because of the Sailor Moon collaboration they had. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with their quality and how smoothly the release went! However, because I live in Canada I had to pay a lot of money in duty fees on top of the $330 that I already paid for three items. In my opinion, even though the quality is great, I personally think the price could’ve been a little bit lower, but I do understand it was a limited edition of collaboration. I would definitely purchase from them again but not for a while! Other than that, I like the customer service, the quality, and the fact that they shipped fairly quickly! I just think in the future they probably should include duty fees within the purchases, so I don’t have to worry about it. I’d rather pay everything all at once.

I've purchased Black Milk since 2014. The company was really at peak performance with hand made quality and accurate sizing. Ever since they started a workshop in China things have gone downhill. They're not pushing down prices either but the opposite. And the quality is HORRENDOUS! I could wear one pair of leggings almost every day for 3(!) years until they finally started wearing down. Now I'm lucky that the seams will last for 3-4 months with only little to moderate use. I'd say STAY AWAY from this company, at this rate the only thing they're milking black is your wallet.

And if you really wanna buy something, get it on a sale.

I’ve been buying from black milk for ages and I’m so happy with all of my purchases. This is a good brand for people of a larger size that want to get that princess feel from a dress. All of the clothing I have I wear very frequently and when washed correctly last so long. Every time I wear one I get complimented on my dress

I order internationally, never had any shipping problems. I love the cloths!! Very good quality, long lasting (as long as you wash and dry them as delicates!), so special and unique. I'm also quite happy with the prices. I've been buying Black Milk stuff for about 3 years now and I'm happy as can be (:

They used to make unique, relatively well-made clothing but the quality tanked while the prices went up after they decided to embrace fast fashion tactics, they have embraced vanity sizing so their XS is often very oversized and they got rid of XXS in half their cuts so they no longer make much for small women, and whoever is running their brand doesn’t know what they are doing in basic tasks. They will do unprofessional stuff like claim to have “oversold” something as if they are an airline when they clearly aren’t good at basic inventory. A good company knows if you have 10 of something, you list the stock availability as 8 or 9. I’ve never seen a clothing company working so hard to go out of business.

I order three items from BM after hearing good things from a friend. These items were expensive and the material used is not! These items are from China and I can guarantee are not worth the $250 I paid. Extremely disappointed that an $85 pair of leggings would be see through! The lot is being sent back. I could get the same quality from Shein and Wish.

Even tho the price for the leggings are super expensive I decided to give it a try. The size that was suggested for me was M and I am not an M, I'm a large but decided to get M like the website told me to. It fits tightly but its ok since I prefer like that, hope it doesn't rip. I feel like if you don't want a super tight fit just go with your true size and disregard what the website says.

But the leggings don't look expensive at all. They look cheap for what it was charged and I'm from Canada. They charged a fee of $40 for delivery. As much as I liked the leggings and will be using them, I will not buy from there again because the price is not worth it.

Excellent speed of delivery. Pictures were great. My fault for not reading the description of the fabrics, i were totally expecting it to be 100% cotton….. I got them and was big disappointed I spent nearly $300 on something I’ll probably gotta give away bc of the fake fabrics lol

If you like something that’s nylon and synthetic materials then this is definitely recommended the design is awesome just unfortunately not cotton hahahah

I love blackmilk clothing. I recently bought a couple of black pieces for an upcoming funeral and they are beautifully made and the highest of quality. So happy with them ! I have bought many other items previously and have been satisfied 100%. I get many compliments on all the pieces I wear too ! I know my size with your brand now & can always rely on perfect sizing and a perfect fit every time. Love love love. Thank you Blackmilk Clothing ! :)

I have been purchasing blackmilk for as long as I can remember and referred many people to them however the bigger they have gotten the reduction in quality. Sizing is all over the place.
My most recent purchase came with much disappointment. I purchased a jacket which was great at the first couple of wears but after the first wash (per the care instructions) the seems tore apart. I contacted them however they said it's normal wear and tear which after one wash I would not class as normal wear and tear.
Looks like I will be purchasing from elsewhere from now on.

Outstanding service and beautiful clothing. Ordered a Van Gogh inspired maxi dress which took less than a week to come to Scotland from Australia. Followed the sizing info on their site and it fits perfectly. I love this dress and get so many positive comments from people when I wear it. Will definitely buy from you again.

Bought some cute pieces on sale. Prints are cute and they have good collabs, but sometimes the fabric can be a bit thin. Decent delivery, about a week or two.

Design looks good but sizes are mostly for tall women, especially for pants. I'm 163cm tall and the cargo pants I got is way too long for me, which is 80cm inseam. 74cm inseam might do but not 80cm. It looks baggy because of the length but I love the fit so didn't return them as I planned to have it altered. But apparently altering it doesn't change the fact that the longest part of it is the thigh area where the pockets are. So it is quite challenging to alter from that part (shorten it) and expensive too. I had to buy nice 2 pairs of cargo pants from Marks & Spencer as they got different sizes depending on the person's height: petite, regular & long. It's good quality as well but less expensive.

Over 100 size large leggings from black milk and all fit fine with minimal variation in size... Now the last three pairs are massive baggy rubbish.. Can't be trusted to fit.. Such a shame.. I've messaged black milk with my concern.. What was a safe bet of excellent quality is now as others have said no better than Ali express junk.. SHAME ON BLACK MILK SELLING OUT... SOLD OUT I SAY...

I’ve been a loyal long term customer but not anymore… I’ve received a dress that is meant to be a size small and it measures out to be a size xxs. I’ve looked in the BM discussion page and so many people who have had the same sizing issues with these dresses each one they buy is never the same size I’m honestly too scared to contact them for support as they were rude and sarcastic to my friend and trying to blame her for her issues

Do I even get started on how much the quality of the clothing has reduced…. It’s now at the standards of Ali express or wish.

If you’re going to purchase from this company be prepared to waste your money

They also try and get you to wash their garments which already came damaged; which means you can no longer get a refund after you wash it.

I've got so much to say, so many bad experiences that I could share but I'll keep it short for now. I've received items with poor sewing, blood stains in the stitching and a dried blood mark on one item. Poor stitching on other items, colour fades despite following their instructions. Sent me a pair of shorts once that were supposed to be an 8 but were actually a 10, labelled as an 8. They expect you to pay for returns, won't give refunds or partial refunds, and will only ever give store credit so you can waste more of your money on polyester made in China.

This company has fallen greatly from the position it had in the early days, where paying 100$ for nylon was acceptable and worth the quality.

They once had a tag line that was "give me nylon or death", well we all know what we've got now....

I love BlackMilk and I've always bought stuff from drops but after a second recent terrible experience I'm really done. First of all I purchased a coat from them which was LUDICROUSLY oversized, my 6'6 boyfriend could fit into it and I am 5' and a size 8/10... the shoulders sat over halfway down my upper arms. When I messaged them they were really unhelpful/snippy saying the coat was "purposely oversized" and implying I'd misread the sizing charts - I was actually quite upset as they'd originally advised me to size UP for "comfort" (thankfully I didn't listen and sized down - can only imagine I'd have received a parachute otherwise). Since I live in the UK I got the coat tailored as it was cheaper than returning it and the tailor was laughing her ass off when I tried it on and saying it looked more like an XXXL... she could only tweak it so it is still extremely long on me and wide in the arms, unfortunately.

Not to be deterred, I just purchased a pair of leggings from them (I already own a few older pairs in size S and they fit perfectly). But for some reason, I can barely breathe?! They are TINY. They dig right in and the fabric looks horribly stretched, so the black looks a weak grey. I'm so unbelievably disappointed as I'm not rolling in cash and this is the second poorly sized product I've received (I was so convinced I was imagining it/had gained some secret weight I tried all my size S clothes on again and yes, they all fit with some room to spare).

I don't write reviews often but it's crushing when you find a brand with fab prints and (in the past) flattering fit and then it all goes out the window... Just so let down.

I bought an expensive pair of plaid cargo pants thinking they had to be good as they were expensive. Sadly after only one wash, the dye fell off where it had creased in the wash. I was left with weird white lines many places and they are permanent. I tried to talk to customer service about the issue but they refused to help or take any responsibility even as I sent many photos with evidence. I will not shop here again and I reccomend anyone else to stay away. The clothes are not nearly worth the price.

The photos make the clothing look great. I spent a lot of money buying from "The Witcher" collection, only to find when it arrived that every piece was that horrible synthetic, shiny, cheap material. It's a joke that the material is described as "crazy comfy," I would never have bought it if I had touched it in a shop. It's a non breathable irritant that will wreak havoc on sensitive skin. It is white on the inside. Even the one pair of pants I got are a write off, all fleecy inside?? I'm embarrassed I was so excited about my purchase.. what a waste of money.

somewhat expensive but the quality is still mostly good i guess, though not what it was a few years ago. international shipping is pretty reasonable, so all good.
