Including import taxes we ended up paying north of 400€ for 2 dresses, a t-shirt and what I can best describe as a vest. Even excluding the import tax, the purchase was over 300€. We purchased items from ther Avatar collection because they looked cute on the website but I have to say, I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of the product. Sure, it says it's 100% polyester on the description, but it really is the cheapest of polyester you can get. In person, everything looks extremely cheap and I know it's the type of clothes that will get sweaty and uncomfortable if you wear it during summer (it's supposed to be summer clothing, btw).

The icing in the cake was a dress that was almost 100€ and it's supposed to look fancy. In all product photos they style it with a big necklace in the front. Why? Because the brooch ON THE FRONT of the supposedly fancy dress is a cheap plastic bra clasp 🤦‍♀️

I regret being influenced into buying such poor quality clothes just because I like the franchise. Stay away. I'm pretty sure there are other clothes doing collabs that will give you nicer clothes.

The materials here are Primark level of cheap and ugly, but instead of paying 15€ for a shirt you're paying 60€.

I'll give them 2 stars because the designs are cute (though poorly executed and the shipping was very fast).

I rarely leave reviews, but I'm so disappointed with this purchase I went through the annoyance of creating an account just for this.

As a trans femme who was trepidatious about ordering clothing online, I was extremely surprised with how instantly warm my emailed response was to my sizing questions. Renee was extremely sweet and personable throughout the process and helped me gain confidence figuring out sizing. I just received my skirt and hoodie today and they both fit perfectly. I'm very excited to wear them and will definitely continue to shop at Black Milk given how warm, sweet, and empathic my experience was with Renee.

Clothes are always amazing quality and the customer service is fantastic, with real down-to-earth people. The first store I go to for any clothes I need!

I’ve been using this company for a number of years now, as they are one of the first companies that have made clothing for some of the things I’m passionate about & the designs are to die for. The customer service team are always super responsive & helpful. I recently asked a question about alterations due to fabric & the answer was clear & really helpful. My only regret is that I don’t live closer as I have to negotiate with customs!

I made a mistake but the BlackMilk team was kind and understanding. They quickly fixed the issue (again 100% my fault) and were so supportive while doing so. It’s such a pleasure to deal with the customer service team at BlackMilk and the clothes are the best!!

My experience with this company was phenomenal. I unfortunately had a parcel that was lost but they were soooo helpful about it and responded so quickly!!! I definitely recommend this company and would order from them again! Wish I could model for them, the clothes are amazing

I love blackmilk not only for the beautiful clothing, but also the excellent customer service. I live regionally in Australia so all of my "alt" clothes are bought online, and the prompt shipping is excellent for me, I like getting my things quickly and the express shipping option is an excellent price, lower than any other store I shop from.
I rarely have issues with sizing or product returns, but the one time I did (my size choice was actually too large) the exchange/refund process was very easy.
Every email interaction I've had with the team has been absolutely lovely, I urge everyone to check out their collabs (especially Lora Zombie) and their special D&D stuff!! My boyfriend and I go out dressed in blackmilk together a lot, he loves all the D&D and LOTR clothes. Really something for anyone who wants to look unique and hot, no matter what your style is 💕

The customer service team at Blackmilk are really something special compared to “regular businesses” - even other small businesses I buy from don’t offer the same customer service experience as Blackmilk. They’re super responsive, relatable, friendly and they go above and beyond to help whenever they can. They make you feel like you’re a valued part of a family, it’s a uniquely personal approach and it’s kept me a loyal customer for over 10 years.

The clothing? There’s nothing else like it! It’s creative, eye-catching, great quality, and there’s something for everyone, from licensed pieces to beautiful classic artwork prints, from the comfiest oversized tees to stunning shimmering velvet dresses. I get compliments everywhere I go, and I can always spot another Blackmilk piece in the wild.

It’s very obvious I’m a huge fan, but honestly I can’t speak highly enough, I love the clothing, the customer experience, and the community.

I ordered four dresses and they are all gorgeous; quality, comfortable, and a perfect fit by the fit guide.
I love their unique styles.
Shipment was also really fast!

Honestly the most beautiful and helpful customer service in the world! They are quick and efficient… solve the problem and do it with complete transparency!

The sheer number of styles, fabrics and designs is ridiculous! From the core staples to the regular collabs and drops, there will always be something to tempt you.

If you're even somewhat alternate, gamer, fantasy, nerdy, gothy, spooky, edgy .. this is the brand for you.

I've not found any issues with the quality or fabrics etc. The prices are v reasonable for what you get, especially when a lot of the products are actually made at BM HQ in Brisbane (the product details will advise where they are made).

I'm local so can just pick up my orders, but postage is v reasonable (within Aus at least).

Please avoid this company at all costs. They are absolute sellouts. They're selling Temu clothes for far too much. I nearly passed away when I realised that this awful skirt, rolled up in a plastic bag and stuffed into another plastic bag, was the £100 skirt I'd bought for my daughter's birthday. I was expecting to receive it in a nice box or something for the price. The quality is just shameful. How dare you pretend in your replies to people that this is how you intended your clothes to be. You could spit through this garment. It's not lined, random seams, just disgusting. I'm sure you wouldn't be able to hide your red face if you tried to give those replies in person! An absolute scam. Then I believe they try to give you store credit if you try to return! Scammers. I'm sure the poor previous owner is turning in his grave. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I've been buying from BlackMilk since 2013...and am still wearing some of those dresses today! I still love BlackMilk and their clothing makes up the majority of what I wear, but can still see why people are upset about some of the fabric. The fabrics differentiate between styles, for example the dress shirts tend to be a light fabric, which suits the style IMO (I have 4...). Their bombers, pinafore dresses, and strappy mini are fantastic. Recently been getting into their long sleeve shirts too which are excellent for lounging in. I generally buy things on sale so don't have complaints about those prices, and still buy things full price when I think they'll sell out. There was a period 5 years ago where my items seemed to be instantly pilling (Even bought a pilling shaver for them) but actually think it has improved since. Shipping is reasonable, can take time to send out but I'm usually buying during sale time. Thanks to the BM team for future orders :)

There was a huge sale on and I decided to buy some stuff when on special. The fabric was incredibly poor quality for most of the items. I appreciate that it has to be synthetic for sublimation prints but still the fabric was very thin and Temu level, some items were not hemmed. No excuse for not finishing a garment. I also purchased a velvet dress, again unhemmed and the nap ran in the opposite direction to traditional velvet garments. So weird. Ok for the price I paid but I would have been destroyed had I purchased at full price. Probably won’t bother buying from them again.

The bombers and hoodies from Black Milk are really cool. Wish they did more shirts with a dip hem but the patterns are cool so ill be buying more regardless.
