Costa Coffee Vouchers
My Costa Coffee Vouchers which I earned with Biscuit were rejected at the shop as “expired”, though the expiry dates printed on the actual vouchers stated a date in the future. Apparently there was a “glitch” in Costa’s system. After Biscuit investigated further, unfortunately Costa Coffee would not reinstate the vouchers as the T&C’s small print stated they had to be used within 12 months. However, Biscuit themselves did resolve the situation to my satisfaction in the end.

Good value app & free pit pats too!!
I’ve had the Biscuit app for many years now. It was absolutely amazing to be able to earn vouchers & seemed too good to be true.
When they changed to a paying app I stayed as the free one for a year or so - but it seemed silly when I’ll still earn more than I spend. So I changed to the plus app & also received 2 free Pit Pats for my 2 dogs - the info on these is very interesting too.
Highly recommended- nothing not to like tbh.

I have always loved the Biscuit app
I have always loved the Biscuit app. Even though we have to pay for it, it is well worth the money. I love that it tracks your walk and tells you how far you have walked and the period of time you have been walking. I find it motivating to walk that but further and for longer. The Pit Pat that comes free with subscription adds extra information.

Great app and easy to use
Great app and easy to use, occasionally it freezes and says no distance recorded and I have walked the dogs for over 3 miles.
Vouchers easy to download and use.

Today I had absolutely lovely emails from them and they were absolutely brilliant,kind ,caring and concerned about my dog and myself. I can't grade this company any higher than the emails I got today about my 🐶. They responded so fast and the emails were heartwarming. and pulled on my heart strings . I can't give this company 💯%more if possible. I highly recommend biscuit as outstanding I really can't thank them enough for today they were totally excellent 👍 kind,caring and really so considerate honestly they are excellent 👍 they went above and beyond today they really did I can't recommend them any higher if I would I will have done 🐾🐾

I’ve used biscuit app for a while
I’ve used the Biscuit app for a while & had some great rewards from it. Unfortunately they did change the format so you didn’t receive as many biscuits per day unless you subscribed .
I went on the basic package with no subscription but then decided to join on subscription & I’m glad I did!
Loads of biscuits (rewards) per day plus a free Pit Pat which covers the cost of the yearly subscription.
It really is worth paying for the subscription as we have already earned £10 in vouchers up to now & it’s only 3 weeks into the New Year. Happy to pay for the subscription. 🐾

The biscuit app was initially very good.you were rewarded for walking your dog you could see the route taken and distance walked.a very technical hliches when walks were not saved or difficulty uploading photos of insurance,proof of flea and tick tablets.hiwever,it then changed,you had to subscribe and the walks changed to quests with less reward for the same walks.i have uninstall the app.

Have you had a chance to get in touch with our support team? If not, we’d love to hear more about the difficulties you faced with uploading proof of insurance or flea and tick treatments. It would really help us understand what went wrong and make improvements where we can.
As for the changes in the app, we’ve introduced subscriptions to help us build a more sustainable and rewarding experience long term. The good news is, we’ve actually added even more rewards and new ways to earn than before. Quests are just one part of it, and there are more exciting features in the works.

Biscuit is a must have app for any dog owner. So far since starting to use the app in May 2025 I've earned £160 of M&S vouchers and won a Samsung galaxy phone. It's a no brainer as it doesn't cost anything to use and you get rewarded for recording your walks.

Terrible, glitchy, unreliable app
The app has always been glitchy but since it switched to a "Free version" and a "premium" paid option it is useless - it rarely saves a walk correctly - you do the walk, it shows on the app then when you try to save it instead it pauses the walk and won't let you save it. Other times, it appears to save but the next day you go to walk again and it is stuck on yesterday's walk data so doesn't log the new day as a new walk.
I can only think this is deliberate to try to get people to sign up to the paid version as it was never this bad before. I am ready to give up using it now - it is useless and simply not worth the effort.
Nice ideas - terrible delivery.

Can't get it to work

Following extensive consultation with pitpat customer services who were absolutely superb I received a replacement activity monitor which is working fine . Pitpat customer service really cannot be faulted.
Slightly disappointed that pitpat walk data does not transfer to biscuit and you have to individually start a walk on biscuit each time but the mapping function and activity log are wonderful.
I have upgraded my star rating now.
Original review - I am a waggel customer. Received free pitpat via biscuit. App still says it's ordered. Can't get activity monitor to sync. I press the button. Paw goes orange. It's not working. Waste of time I feel

Activity data came through on the 17th and 18th of Dec, and your account was awarded the Biscuits for syncing, which tells us everything is now working as it should, which is great! It looks like the initial delay may have been part of the setup process, which can sometimes be a bit confusing on first use.

Brilliant Biscuit Petcare
I cannot fault biscuit petcare any problems they are quick to sort out any problems. I am a subscriber and will continue to be. I don't need any motivation to walk my dogs but it just makes it more fun and with the pitpat activity trackers I am always on top of how far we're walking. I know not everyone was happy when it went over to subscription but it works for me

Used to be brilliant… now just another cash-grab
I’ve used Biscuit for years, and it genuinely used to be an amazing community-driven pet-walking app. It felt friendly, supportive, and centred on pet wellbeing. Unfortunately, the app has completely changed — and not for the better.
Over the past year, Biscuit has become increasingly commercialised. Features that were once free and core to the community now feel locked behind paywalls, pop-ups, or upsells. The focus has shifted from helping owners bond with their pets to squeezing every possible penny out of users. What used to feel like a neighbourhood hub now feels like a storefront.
I’m far from the only one saying this. Recent App Store reviews echo the same frustrations: long-time users calling the app “greedy,” “unrecognisable,” and “a waste of time compared to what it used to be.” It’s disappointing to watch a genuinely useful tool lose its heart for the sake of profit.
Unless the developers reverse course and remember why people loved Biscuit in the first place, I’d strongly recommend avoiding it. There are other pet-walking apps out there that still value their users over monetisation.
A real shame — this was once one of my favourite apps, and now I barely recognise it.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, especially as someone who has been with Biscuit for such a long time. It is genuinely hard to read that something which once felt supportive and community-driven now feels unrecognisable to you, and we are really sorry for that disappointment.
You are right that Biscuit has changed. The reality is that the old way was not sustainable long-term. To keep Biscuit around, improving, and properly supported, we had to evolve how the app works and how it is funded. Without that shift, Biscuit simply would not be able to continue.
What has not changed, and never will, is our mission. Biscuit exists to help dogs live healthier lives and to support the bond people build with them through everyday habits like walking. That is still the reason we build features, track walks, and reward positive routines. Premium options help fund the team, the technology, and the ongoing improvements that keep the app running for everyone, including those on the free plan.
We understand that change can feel like something being taken away, especially when you have seen Biscuit. Your feedback is important, and it helps us reflect on how we communicate and balance sustainability with the warmth and community that people loved from the start.

Biscuit is quite innovative
Biscuit is quite innovative. I think it’s a great app and along with PitPat I am managing to explore all the advantages of having it. I have struggled a bit with finding my way around and achieving goals with my dog. I am elderly so understand that new technology isn’t my forte
