A Premium Price Tag Without Premium Service

I purchased a Bearby product on January 6th. No shipping notification followed for over a month, so I reached out to support on February 9th. The item was only shipped on February 11th, after my inquiry, and the package arrived on March 9th: 62 days after purchase.

For a brand positioning itself in the luxury segment with pricing to match, this timeline is simply not acceptable.

Beyond the delay, the support experience raised more serious concerns:
I was told the item was a pre-order, despite no such designation appearing on the product page at the time of purchase.
When I followed up on tracking, I was told the shipment had arrived in my country. When I provided evidence contradicting this, the response was that it had been a "typo."
After acknowledging the poor experience and agreeing to a partial refund as compensation, the resolution offered was a minor discount percentage equivalent to a standard newsletter sign-up promotion.

Each of these points individually might be an isolated mistake. Together, they reflect a pattern of reactive communication, inaccurate information, and commitments that were not honored.

Luxury brands command premium prices on the basis of product quality and the experience surrounding it. Bearby delivers neither the service standards nor the customer accountability that justifies its price point.

I will not be purchasing from them again and I cannot recommend them.

I reached out to Bearaby customer…

I reached out to Bearaby customer support and chatted with a representative about the possibilities of using their blanket to help me in my health journey.

I shared that I had been through brain surgery and was considering purchasing a Bearaby blanket to help me sleep better. The representative I chatted with was so compassionate and understanding.

This conversation meant alot as I first started out really wanting to talk to an actual human and I was pleasantly greeted and treated kindly by a real person, who showed they truely cared about me.

The conversation was very authentic and I did share some things about my health concerning the brain surgery. But she was also very open to listening in return to some of my own health tips, and a referral of a mineral balm I've been trying that might help her in her health journey.

However, what I didn't mention in the chat and what makes the interaction mean more than what the representative even knew at the time... I've not only had a brain surgery.... in the last year and a half, I've also had 2 heart attacks, including a 99% blockage in the LAD (widow maker). Also a fractured wrist, crumbled tibia plateau and a compression fraction on top of all that! Wow...it's been a rough year. I've been looking for a ways to enhance my health and relieve some stress in this healing process... physically and mentally. The Bearaby blanket caught my eye.

All in all, even though the conversation with them was relatively short, especially compared to this long review lol!!... the support people at Bearaby, really blessed me.

I'm saving up to get that blanket!! They are expensive but I feel it will really help.

Bearaby is the best

Bearaby is the best! I love their products and their customer service is equally top-notch. I contacted customer support twice about 3 orders that I sent as Christmas presents. Both times, I got quick, friendly responses that actually answered my questions and resolved my issue, which had nothing to do with Bearaby but UPS. For some reason, UPS didn't deliver my 2nd package and returned it to Bearaby, stating they couldn't find my in-laws' house when UPS already delivered the first package to the house the day before without any problems. Charlotte at Bearaby went above and beyond and ensured the warehouse team reshipped it, confirming their address, and including special delivery instructions to UPS. She kept me updated at every step until it was delivered successfully! Even better, my in-laws loved the weighted blanket.

Ordered a Snuggler which arrived a few days later - satisfied until this point. Although they claim it to keep the temperature for up to an hour, it hardly lasts 20 minutes - I therefore inquired via email for a return label (which is free and you can request within 14 days even without explanation, according to their website). I didn't get a reply for 10 days now, nor to the second mail I sent. Their strategy seemed to me to make the return process as effortful as possible, hoping for parts of their customers to just give up along the way - what a shame!

Update: after reaching out simultaneously via Instagram and the contact sheet on their website as a last effort of mine, I got quick replys via both means. The further return went smoothly, fortunately, and the customer service was very friendly. Seems like it's only their email address hello@be***y.eu where noone is replying (recommendation - please remove it from the return section then as I cannot be the only one experiencing issues here). I therefore update the trustpilot review to 4 stars.

Exceptional customer service…

In addition to high quality products (we can vouch for two blankets and a sleep mask), Bearaby’s customer service is exceptional. I had ordered an additional sleep mask as a gift that I realized (in a panic, just days before the event) never arrived. They responded promptly and kindly, attempted to track it (crazy winter storms), and ended up sending a replacement order with expedited shipping so it would arrive in time! Truly amazing and friendly customer service. When the original order finally made its way to us, they made it super easy to send it back their way for another lucky customer to enjoy.

Trustworthy

While you do have to request returns in a chat rather than it being more streamlined, Bearaby has great customer service. I even forgot to put in my proof of purchase in a return and they told me it was no problem and I still got my refund. Only reason it is not five stars is that there is a considerable restocking fee for any returns.

A+++!!!

The Bearaby weighted blanket is a cozy hug you can sleep under. Unlike typical weighted blankets, it uses knitted weighted yarn instead of beads, making it soft, breathable, and evenly weighted as it is made of 100% cotton. Highly recommend.

A Company Worth Trusting

I discovered Bearaby after receiving a diagnosis of severe ADHD in my 30's. I was overwhelmed with the options for weighted blankets until a friend suggested I order the TENCEL Weighted Blanket. It has been a life-changing purchase for me.

After exploring the site, I ordered different-sized Knot Pillows and noticed my children using them as soon as they arrived. We don't leave the house without one of our Huggets to keep restless hands occupied in the car, including mine, while sitting in traffic.

I have since purchased the Lounger (heated lap pad), the Ocean Napper, so I can take it with me when traveling, and the Second Skin Sheets. I cannot express with words how incredible these sheets are. I will be purchasing another set ASAP.

In today’s world, peace is of the utmost importance to a family with challenges like ours, and Bearaby products provide calm.

This is why I want everyone, especially those who are and who love a Neurodivergent person, to know about Bearaby and have a real mama validate the difference these products can make.
We have interwoven Bearaby into every part of our lives.

I am basking in gratitude, not only for this company, but also for Eleanor (Bearabuddies Customer Care) and her genuinely kind and helpful responses to my emails.

Outstanding Customer Service

Outstanding Customer Service! The team was amazing in resolving my issue with my lounger and responded to my emails immediately. I own both the Bearaby Lounger and a weighted blanket, and I couldn’t be happier. They’ve made a huge difference to my sleep.

I have bought just about every product Bearaby sells over the years - several in multiples. The quality is wonderful, the products bring so much comfort (along with being beautiful), and every experience I have had with customer service has been easy and pleasant.

The blanket that ruined other blankets for us

I got the weighted blanket for my wife for Christmas and she’s obsessed! After a long week, she pulls it over her, sinks into the couch, and lets waves of relaxation wash over her. Love that it’s all cotton with no fillers too.

Side note, had a minor issue when I placed the order but customer service fixed it immediately, over the weekend, without hassle.

Die Qualität der Decke ist super

Die Qualität der Decke ist super. Die Verarbeitung ist top. Die Farbe entspricht exakt dem Werbefoto.
Die Lieferzeit ist etwas lang. Das liegt aber daran, dass jede Decke individuell erst nach Eingang der Bestellung produziert wird. Aber der Kontakt zum Support ist toll. Freundlich und kompetent. Du bist informativ immer auf demaufenden über den Bestellstatus.
