They came highly recommended to me by a family member and that goes a long way with me. As a first time landlord I was going in blind when I rang them unaware of what to expect. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything was explained to me in great detail any questions I had were listed to and answered and I didn’t feel rushed. Very polite and helpful.

Scott struggled to explain policies and explained them incorrectly after I researched following the call. Also came across stubborn, judgemental and just hung up the phone on end, needs training.

First time we've used Alan Boswell after 10 years with Direct Line who hiked up their price. Alan Boswell gave super customer service, a good quote so went with Craig Banham’s quote. Like all insurance we hope we wont need to use it but if we do hope it stands up to all the promises made. Thanks for your support Craig.

If you want good service speak to Craig who was very helpful and responsive. My initial call with one member of staff who didn’t ask the right questions & follow up lacked any response was a bit off-putting but soon resolved.

Definitely give Alan Boswell a chance to quote on landlord insurance - seems competitively priced & hopefully a good product /back up support if ever needed to claim.

Very poor customer service, case handling and just total lack of communication from Alan Boswell insurance broker. I have to contact them twice a week for updates as the case handlers just never return emails, calls or any messages left by myself. No updates just same old excuses. It’s different when the insurance policy is up for renewal.

Hopefully this review will be seen by the relevant department but my next step will be to contact the insurance ombudsman to make a formal complaint

What a refreshing change! I spoke with Amanda Riches, who was knowledgeable, patient and genuinely fantastic throughout the whole process.

She explained everything clearly and professionally, answered every question I had, and went the extra mile to help with some of the specifics I needed. Nothing felt rushed, and the level of service was exceptional from start to finish.

I really cannot recommend Amanda and the team highly enough. Based on this experience, I'll now be looking to move all of my insurance across to them.
