Hosts use blackmail air bnb give no support

Had a few bad experiences now, hosts excepting a booking then cancelling.
Latest Booking was paid and host demanded more money (During world cup) they made threats and said that no matter what air bnb said I would not be allowed to stay there.
The online support was fast to reply but not of much use. They said booking would be honoured. I asked what would happen if I arrive and the owner simply doesn’t let me stay (That was what owner said). Air bnb gave me no confidence theyd be able to assist or sort accommodation so I had to cancel and rebook more expensive accommodation. I was told by air bnb due to the host violating the policy that they would be blocked from booking out accommodation on these dates - this has not happened.

Poor search options

Good experience
Worth mentioning an improvement for website. I had to open every product to view what sizes and options were available.
I went to essentials FOG tracksuits but could not select any filters so had to open every option to view available sizes. Even though I selected tracksuits some were only hoodie or bottoms available.

Avoid

Have used a couple of times with no issue, used in Ethiopia and was unable to set up the sim. Tried to contact customer support (non existent). Tried several times since and still unable to sort. Was in Ethiopia for 48 hours and was unable to use the sim and unable to get a refund. There are several other much better platforms to use. Avoid airalo.

Can’t fault them, return customer

Bought for Neice’s Christmas, great choice. Good quality and price. Great range - I also use there summer sets. Easy website, fast delivery.

As good as they look on social media!

Saw these tshirts on social media and always look brilliant in pics.
Fast delivery. Great price, quality and look, it does fit snug. Not tight enough to order a size bigger but if not as trim in the mid section then beware it does grip. Wore it xmas eve definitely wont wear it boxing day! Will be ordering again once festive belly is gone!

Evri is the delivery agent

Good products, good prices. Only downfall and it will stop me from ordering again is that they use “Evri” for deliveries.
Hopefully that changes but unless if does I wont use montirex online again

Always good

Always a good experience using moonpig, great products, good prices, easy to use and personalise. Only small downside id last couple if years the pushy sales taxtict when trying to checkout. Maybe useful to some but its an annoyance to me personally. Ive already got what I needed Id like to pay and end the transaction.

Poor prizes, poor prices, non stop spam even after opting out. Just avoid

Edit as a reply to the below:
SMS msgs originally received from “Ted Urban draw” this was opted out. Then SMS msgs from “Cam Urban draw” received. Again opted out. Emails are several a day - again I have unsubscribed. This is not basic spam this is borderline harassment. I could say alot more, I think the business reply says enough. As mentioned in original review Id recommend to avoid. Many other great Raffle buisness to choose from, this isn’t one of them

Firstly, I’d like to apologise that you are dissatisfied. That’s never our intention.

I’m shocked that you would say that our prizes are poor. We offer the newest Rolex stock in the entire competition market and the absolute best odds, so I don’t really see how anyone could suggest that our prizes are poor.

With regards to the ‘spam after unsubscribing’ claim, I can see that many of your reviews for other companies across multiple industries are the same. If you unsubscribe from any of our marketing lists you will NEVER be contacted again. Our marketing partners use the most robust systems to ensure that this is the case.

Going forward when unsubscribing from a mailing list it may be worth following the process through to the end to make sure the unsubscribing process is complete.

More Biased than Cnn

Cant even explain how wrong this platform has it wrong. Its a UK!!!! broadcaster that is all about England… and even when other nations in UK do brilliant its all compared against England or endless condescending/sarcastic comments. Yet When have England ever done F@@k all worthy. NEVER!!! When we talk about National teams this is why literarily most of the world want England to loose, its your own doing and play victim! Yawn 🥱 If we are talking about domestic league- no argument England PL is in my opinion the top league.
I hope 2026 world cup England get half decent opponents and see the results because yous cocked it after being to you! Sausages

Harassed by Spam mails

Good options and prices. Horrendous for spam mail and customer service.
Worried to spam the mail as there may be some important info regarding the booking so end up being constantly harassed with spam and misleading emails giving impression that we had “won” a holiday. Will not use jet2 again due to this.

Poor customer service

Online was poor went through all hurdles and wasnt able to deliver to my address.
Was in stock in local store (3miles from address).
Staff in store are more interested in chatting to friends than engaging customers.

Fair price for raffles

Fair price for raffles, the draw results require some attention, day after before winner is posted.
Not been able to see a live draw yet - not even sure if they do the draws live.
Probably the best raffle site in regards to not being harassed by spam mail and messages.

Unbelievably bad

If I could give a negative rating I would. Booked flights to our wedding for our close family to Cyprus. This was booked a full year in advance. It Was nothing but hassle. I am regular BA flyer so I know how to book and how to use the app. Could not pick seats online, could not get through on the phone, went to airport and told they could not help. Tried online, app and phone several times and was unsuccessful. Got to airport and check in staff were over run. Opened check in far to late the que was out the door. Tried to usher customers to use newly fitted machines which cause more chaos. Managed to get at least 1 adult sat next to the children. Boarding of the plane was as bad as everything else. 2 babys in the group tried to board early but refused. Groups all called at pretty much same time so it was just mayhem. Staff at airport and onboard 75% were rude and incompetent. Once in Heathrow this was an even worse experience. Staff did let wheelchair and babies through first but the plane was ready and the staff kept sending passengers through gate and down escalators. Several passengers shouting for them to stop as there was literally nowhere to go and all the babies and wheelchairs ended up pushed to the back. Very similar experience on return leg. BA ruined our holiday, not to mention we had to pay over the odds for the experience. BA genuinely gets worse EVERY time I fly with them. I will never use them in future unless there is no other option. Id rather walk 3000miles than fly BA

Wrong order

Ordered a short and tshirt set. Tshirt was cancelled and received 2x pairs of shorts with no delivery updates. Were just abandoned at the door. Gets worse every time I use JD. That was last time

Items bought, not shipped and no refund

Ordered 6 pairs of sunglasses for myself and groomsmen.
Paid the money, confirmation email received.
3 weeks later parcel not received so emailed and was told there was a shipping error and a refund would be processed only once they had the items back in warehouse (items were never sent to me). I received a partial refund at this point.
I emailed weekly for updates, all were ignored until a month later when ai threatened legal action when rest if the money was refunded.
Wore and purchased their shades many times when passing through airports etc so was very disappointed by the service and process when dealing directly. Will be reporting to trading standards as dont believe it to be legal to withhold a refund for items they messed up shipping on and I had no delivery or attempted deliveries or even a shipping notification
