After calling and confirming availability a booking request form was filled out as instructed, but the booking was not made by them. Instead they confirmed other booking requests in the mean time and sold out of cars. We now have to pay double elsewhere to hire a car. I would NOT recommend this company.

Used Zitauto a few times over the last ten years or so, and always found them very good value, courteous, friendly staff, and reliable cars. Booking online very easy, very relaxed pick up and delivery back to the car park outside the terminal, and never had any problems with unauthorised charges to my credit card having arrived home. Definitely recommend, would use again when next on the Algarve.

Heel slecht verhuurbedrijf!! In maart 2 auto’s gehuurd voor juni! Bevestiging gekregen
Maand geleden gevraagd om n 3e auto voor dezelfde periode. Allemaal mails heen en weer en nu dus ipv 3 auto’s maar 1 auto mogelijk !!! Schandalig!!

Hired a car with Zit autos in March 2022 which is our 2nd time to hire in the algarve. They are fantastic to deal with and the cars that we had were absolutely perfect and felt like new. Their office in Faro airport is out of the back of a car but don't let that put you off 10/10

We have been using Zitautos since I left Portugal in 2008. I have had no issue with them, they are helpful, friendly and you don't have to wait long. Have already booked my next hire for my trip to Portugal. I fly to Portugal 3 or 4 times a year, my first booking after flight is zitautos. Definitely happy and will continue to use. Thank you

CAR/ZITAUTO Rent a car is one of the worst car rental experience I have ever had. It amounts to cheating customers for additional insurance although we had a zero liability insurance bought and paid for the rental we had. They wanted to force us to buy additional insurance, while we had the insurance with policy in our hand. We didn't get the car because we refused to have in addition to have paid for the insurance to block almost 3000 EUR on our credit card account... So that they find reasons to take more money out of our pockets. I would never ever book a car at this company CAR/ZITAUTO Rent a car, and also told my friends and relatives visiting the beautiful Portugal to never ever book a car there.
In addition the service was extreme arrogant and unfriendly and I was lucky to find an additional car company, where everything including the insurance situation and the service, was no problem...

Faultless car hire experience. Our first time using Zitauto. Picked up super clean 2021 model Clio right outside Faro arrivals terminal in car park 2. Paid rental amount in full, cash. They take main drivers credit card details also. We returned the car 10 days later to same place, car park 2. Return of car was under 5 minutes, they checked fuel level was ok, same to same, and visually looked over vehicle in and out. Said thank you to us and wished is a safe trip home. Superb service, will definitely be using Zitauto again. Thanks guys!

I have used Zitauto for many years.
We take multiple trips to Faro every year and I started using Zitauto as they were the cheapest with no hidden costs but I also find them highly efficient and very very helpful. Great range of modern cars - we go for the Group F option and that works very well for us. Great that they are now working from CarPark 2- so handy for collecting the car.

Great rental. I rented a station wagon for 4 people. I returned the car very early in the morning (4.00 am). No problems with the rental or return. Good prices and nice cars. Friendly and kind service. If I visit Portugal again, I will certainly use your services. Satisfied customer.

Super wypożyczalnia. Jeśli myślicie o wypożyczeniu auta to szczerze polecam. Żadnych problemów i dobre ceny. Przejrzyjcie ich ofertę przed wylotem i rezerwujcie. Auto czeka. Ja nie miałem żadnych przygód ani z autem, ani ze zwrotem (auto zostawiłem na lotnisku - wylot ok 4 rano). Nikt nic nie mówił, nie czepiał się, nie chciał dodatkowych opłat. Miałem megane combi w diesel. Jeździłem głównie po drogach krajowych i mieście (poza autostradą). Średnie spalanie ok 4,5l.

I've been using these guys for over 10 years and have never experienced any issues. Always cheapest and nicest to deal with. Also, cars have always been new and good quality.

We have been using Zit Autos in Faro for about 20 years. They are a fabulous company. It’s definitely our go to car rental. The staff are wonderful and cars are in excellent condition. If I could give more than 5 star I would. We hope to continue to use and support them for many more years x

I am from Germany and I had a lot of questions for the toll etc and a worker of zitauto answered them with a lot of patience (Rita Dias). So would recommend this company without any doubt!

Excellent company- used Zit for over 10 years. Good prices but just as importantly they provide a great service and there are no hidden extras or underhand tactics regarding damage etc etc.

I've been a long term (2009), twice a year customer of Zitauto pre "pandemic", and wouldn't consider using anyone else. Their prices are always competitive, cars are well presented, staff are exceptional, and pickup/return is so easy. I always ask for a small automatic and they never disappoint! Why look elsewhere, they're the best. Looking forward too seeing them again soon.

Always very reliable, have used Zitauto for 10 years and even sorted me out within half an hour when I got my dates wrong and turned up two days early. Excellent
