While this was always our first go to car rental they have now lost our business and also our friends business
We had a credit which by lying and cheating they managed to take it back in a very weird way
Long story, car was fine but I would suggest that you write everything down when getting a quote and have them sign
This is a review for the office in albufeira only

The best! Quick, brand new cars, Never had any problem with this comapny.

Goed verhuurbedrijf. Hebben geen kantoor. Maar afhandeling gebeurd vanaf P2 op vliegveld Faro. Vanuit een auto. Even goed opletten dan zie je ze staan. Geen naamsvermelding. Dus zoeken even. Prijzen zijn zeer concurrerend.

Really good from booking to drop off

No frills- they operate from a car in car park 2. But they're cheap, the car was almost new and they do what they say they'll do

No transponder for the toll (if you use toll you pay at Post Office) and no additional insurance option. We bought an annual plan for 50 quid

All in all they were spot on. Really friendly staff. Will use them again and highly recommend

DO NOT HIRE CAR SEATS FROM ZITAUTO. We recently hired car seats for our 4 month old baby and two year old. Upon collecting the car, we immediately raised concerns around the state of the car seats - they were incredibly old, worn and, in the case of the baby seat, seemed very unstable and unsafe. To cut a very long story short, after multiple emails, calls and return journeys to the airport to collect alternative seats from Zit (which were just as bad), we ended up returning the seats to Zit and hiring much better seats from Baby on Board.

Zit have been incredibly unhelpful in this situation, and have not responded to emails requesting some kind of refund given that we returned the seats less than half way into the hire period. This does not even take into account the cost of two return journeys to the airport to pick up alternative seats from Zip and then return them, as well as the cost of hiring alternative seats. All round, a very expensive mistake!

I used Zitauto for 2 x 9-seater minivans for our 12 strong golfing group, at Faro airport.
Apart from a slight delay in locating their representative in Car park 2, ( they work from a parked car), everything else was fine. The vans were relatively new, and in good condition.
The prices were exceptionally reasonable, and you just need one named driver per car, then any extra drivers are free. Take out the necessary car excess insurance at home- they don't push it.

We rented a car for 2 weeks from Zitauto. Everything was fine and we got a brand new car at Faro Airport. On the first day we had a minor mishap and when we returned the car, the whole matter was handled in a very professional way. I has to pay € 300.00 for the damage which I felt is very fair. I will certainly use Zitauto again and recommend them to anybody. Yes you could probably get a car cheaper but after all the "extras" are added you will not find a better deal. No hidden fees.

Every years, if we stay in Portugal, we rent a car on airport Faro and we are happy, we found this firm, we are perfektly satisfied! Now we fly in October and rent a car for 14 days. Cost/performance ratio is super.

We have used Zitauto on several occasions before and always had great service and great cars so returned this year to them at Faro Airport and still brilliant.
They say that you can judge the quality of service when things go wrong and by that standard they should get 6 stars! We had an issue with the car as the battery went flat, however inside 2 and a half hours they had delivered another car to us! When I explained that the aircon on the replacement car wasn't working too well.. no problem and another car was provided. No quibbles, no argument just great service so that we could get on an enjoy our holiday.
And on top of all of that the price was seriously unbeatable!
We have already asked them for next year! Thank you Zitauto 😊

Amazing service from start to finish. Had an technical issue with the car which was a manufacture fault and they swapped the car within 24hrs with no hassle. Have already made more bookings as I was that impressed. Highly recommended

Stay away ! They take all your personal details claiming that its for a booking but afterwards they tell you that they're all sold out, even if on their website all cars are available for a specific timeframe. They claimed they have an issue with the website but if I change the dates the sold out option works so don't think its a site issue more like customer selection based on data provided.

First time with Zitauto and this was the best and most effective rental experience ever.
Great price, just to sign the agreement that was already completed when I arrived, no sale of extra insurance.
The representatives were a little difficult to find at the airport.

We used Zitauto for the two weeks we were in Portugal.
The experience was so good. From beginning to end it was easy and they communicated with us and answered all questions when need.

Best car hire company in Faro Airport. Honest, reliable, great prices, lovely cars and do not try to rip customers off with expensive extras and attempts to find damages to car to get money from you. Highly recommend have used over 5 times now and all my family use too.

Booked a car with them , called several times to make sure everything was allright and they assured me everything would be fine. Till last week I called again and suddenly they don’t have anymore cars available and they lost our booking. They never tried to solve it either.
