Really easy collection straight from Faro airport . (Car park No.2) Price was as stated on the booking, no additional insurance costs or credit card holds. Car was nice and clean, and only a year or so old (Vauxhall Corsa). Came with three quarters of a tank or fuel which had to be replaced on return. Returned the car back to the same spot at the airport on return, no fuss return, they just checked the fuel level and said “thank you” job done! This is the third rental company I’ve used in Portugal and so far it’s been the best in terms of ease and what you booked and paid for is what you get/pay. Will certainly use this company again next time.

Zitauto was recommended by a friend who regularly visits Portugal, so 5 or 6 years ago I tried them instead of my usual multinational. Soooo glad that I did 😁

I have been hiring from Zitauto a number of times each year when I holiday in Portugal and land at Faro airport. Service has always been really good, friendly, professional, helpful, and the vehicle provided clean and mechanically good.

When i visited earlier this month I was exhausted and late on the day of vehicle collection filled it with diesel rather than petrol. Zitauto sorted a replacement vehicle amazingly quickly, delivered it to me and sent me on my way whilst their staff member stayed with the immobile vehicle to await its collection by transporter.

I managed to leave a pair of RayBans in the immobile vehicle, contacted Zitauto who located them and had them taken to their office closest to me. I arrived at the office and a member of staff had already noted me in their vehicle, checked the registration, and brought my glasses out to me. Woulderful!

The hiring experience is always pleasant and easy, but in my moments of crisis Zitauto staff were exceptional, prevented stress or worry, and ensured that I continued having a lovely holiday.

We used Zitauto on the recommendation from a friend who has used them for years with no issues. I have to say I was very impressed overall. The car was a lovely Peugeot 2008 and ready within 10 mins of meeting the representative. On return, we pulled up to carpark 2 and again, a representative was at the barrier who advised us to just pull into the left, she quickly checked the car and fuel and we were gone in less than 5 mins. I can only highly recommend this company on service, will definitely use again. Thank you.

We have used Zit Auto at Faro airport for the last 15 year
They have always provided an efficient and friendly service.
Today I had the misfortune of the car’s battery running flat (probably my fault). I contacted Zit by email and explained that I was at my holiday house in Ayamonte and needed help.
I was then called by Rita who agreed a time for someone to come and help. This was reassuringly confirmed by email.
One of the managers, Nuno arrived at the arranged time and got the car started with a battery pack. He then left me with a new car and took the old one away as a precaution.

I use Zitauto several times per yer and find them to be professional, helpful and flexible when needed. I wouldn't choose any other hire company.

We hired a car at Faro airport for a week. Although they work out of the back of a car instead of an air conditioned office, everything is efficient and very friendly for both pick up and drop off. Car was clean and worked well. I would use them again.

Great Rental Experience!

The majority of rental companies in Faro appeared to have a real mixed bag of reviews so I was a little apprehensive choosing a company I'm really glad I settled on Zitauto.

Instructions to find the Zitauto staff was straightforward, first impressions were mixed as there was a short queue when we arrived and the staff were operating out of a boot of a car. However the staff were friendly and efficient so didn't take too long to get our vehicle. We rented a car for a week in April for a family vacation the car was in really good condition Peugeot 3008 no up selling, no issues and a simple returns process as well. If we return to Faro I will definitely be booking through Zitauto!

I have been visiting my house in Tavira for the last 20 years several times a year. For a great period of those years i have used ZIP AUTO and have always found them excellent in so many ways to deal with. As a result of my positive comments many of my friends now contact ZIP.

Efficient friendly service, met by lovely Anna at convenient pickup point just outside arrivals, excellent straightforward from booking to collection to return, car was excellent at a great price, wouldn't use any other car rental company from Faro.

Wij huren al jaren via Zitauto en zijn altijd zeer tevreden. Het ophaal- en afleverproces op Faro Airport is efficient, je hoeft niet in een busje naar het verhuurbedrijf maar kan dat gewoon tegenover de aankomsthal doen. Deze keer hebben we de auto bij het kantoor in Almancil opgehaald en afgeleverd. Dat was ook een goede ervaring. Het personeel is vriendelijk en er wordt niet moeilijk gedaan over een krasje hier of daar.

Been using Zitautos for nearly 15 years and would certainly recommend. They have a friendly service using relatively new cars which are always in a good condition and cleaned. We have had no issues with them the entire length of use and are always waiting at the airport whatever time in the day you are picking up or dropping off. My only slight concern is that they are becoming very popular with customers, and the wait time to pick up can be lengthy if multiple flights from the UK are arriving at the same time.

A very friendly team of people who provide cars in great condition at good prices. Pick up and drop off are a doddle and very convenient at Faro car park 2. Been using for years and already planning the next rental, keep up the good work guys 👍
