Fed up with spending a fortune on fresh flowers for Valentine’s Day only to see them in the bin a week or so later, so thought I’d go Bonsai!
As a complete beginner I knew very little but was given excellent advice. My requirements and budget were listened to and an appropriate tree was selected.
Delivery and packaging was excellent and my wife’s beautiful tree arrived in excellent condition.
She’s happy - I’m happy, and I fully expect to be buying from Yorkshire Bonsai again soon!

The Chinese Elm I picked was to be selected by the nursery, so no control over the actual specimen, but the tree I received was absolutely beautiful and very close in shape to the one displayed online. Also beautifully potted up and packed professionally and securely. Delighted with my purchase!

I initially read their online help pages and then contacted Yorkshire Bonsai directly as I was worried about a tree I had received as a present (purchased elsewhere). Paul was very quick to reply and his advice has been incredibly valuable. A lot of the generic online tips you read are not wholly correct, each tree is different, and I found this out with Paul's help. I now have the information I need to repair my tree's stress and hopefully it will go from strength to strength. Their trees look amazing and I would have no qualms purchasing one, knowing I would have excellent customer care if needed.

So I contacted Paul at Yorkshire Bonsai, and he was really helpful and ensured I got a bonsai tree I was happy with. Now I have a beautiful tree which I cannot wait to gift! I wish I went with them to begin with! If you’re thinking of making a purchase, do it!

Absolutely brilliant company to order my first bonsai from. Had to idea how it would be delivered and despite Royal Mail sending it to the wrong sorting office and delivering it two days late, the tree was in excellent condition. I might well be hooked on starting a collection!!

I have been so pleased with Yorkshire Bonsai. I think they have been lovely to deal with as if you are speaking with a friend on their chat bot. Also the items came exactly as expected on the day with the most fantastically carefully packed box. I’m very pleased with my pots (one is to follow as it was out of stock).
I needed advice about buying some other items & I got it very quickly, so I could include them in my order.
The Photos of the pots are true to life and give a good indication of the size etc which is so important when buying on line.
I would totally recommend this company

I was given a Chinese elm for my birthday. I have a few trees but my first from Yorkshire bonsai and it's the cutest thing I have ever seen. Even came with a little red bow. The tree came in perfect condition. I will be buying again. Thank you. Xx

Fabulous Bonsai, fabulous family company!!

I purchased a Chinese Elm having researched many websites. This company felt personal rather than a wholesaler as many others seem to be. I wasn't disappointed. The tree arrived securely, on time and immaculate. It is a beautiful tree.

On the site they even have individual photos of the trees so you can choose the perfect shape for you!

The pre-sale and after sale care they have given me has been perfect. Always happy to chat and offer advice. They clearly LOVE Bonsai, that has to be the most important part.

I ordered a beautiful tree for my daughter for Christmas. As I live abroad it was important I got it right as I couldn’t see the tree. Paul at Yorkshire Bonsai was so helpful through the whole process. I was sent a lot of pictures and given so much advice. The tree was delivered on the day it was promised the delivery was great the tree was in prefect condition as it was packed very well. Can’t recommend this company enough

Fantastic service from Paul and his team. If you're reading this review, don't motorcycle 2 1/2 hours from Manchester on a Sunday to an Internet only store, you might not be as lucky as me. Fortunately, I was lucky and Paul helped me choose the perfect Secret Santa tree. So pleased. Many, many thanks Paul
