Placed an order online that did not arrive, when I contacted Woodies customer service they said they would " revert to me" when they received a response from Fastway Courier. When I contacted them the next day for an update they did not reply. Thankfully my order was only €22.00, that I paid for 3 Dulux testers and not the €250.00 that I paid for the paints I bought elsewhere.

4 hour click and collect took 4 days - Mullingar store. Called the store and was told they had to wait for payment to clear before they could pick the order. This was 2 days later. Got on to head office who managed to get the order pushed through and offered a voucher as an apology. When we went to pick up the item in store, they had no knowledge of the order or the voucher. Completely unprofessional set up and very misleading to advertise 4 hour click and collect.

Every year, the scam continues on seasonal products. Mass produced items from China for Halloween & and Christmas, shown at “ full price “ for probably just the exact time before the “ half price sale”. In essence vastly inflating the price to drop it just a week or two later. Today I came across a range of Halloween phones, each item was damaged and flimsy - the price - €60.00. A Quick Look around shows that the pricing is all for show. As even with a third of the price, the item would still not be worth it.

I had a query on a delivery and couldn't get a response from the courier company. Already had to complain about a B&Q delivery that same day so didn't hold out much hope hope when I contacted Woodies for help with my order. I couldn't have been more surprised to receive a very pleasant and helpful response within about 20 minutes. I then received a thank you when I acknowledged their assistance, so 2 messages within 30 minutes from Woodies and 48 hours later no response from B&Q. I know where I will be shopping from now on. Thank you Woodies for actually providing real customer service.

I'm finished with woodies Newbridge. Some of them think they own the store.

Made a complaint today with head office and they put me onto the store. I spoke to a guy by the name of Anthony who was also very rude. Customer service is my work of business but they have no customer service ethic. Will never shop there again as they don't treat customers the way they should. No wonder why shops are closing down when your treated like dirt

Went to Swords(Seatown) for a lawnmower. Did my research before hand and was 90% sure which model I was going to purchase. Store colleague (male) when asked a few questions was of zero help. When asked about where is the oil is located just pointed and offered no assistance. I
Delighted with the mower after the first cut and think it is excellent value. B&Q is miles ahead in customer service but the value in Woodies was better.

Bought a pendant light called Breez easy fit pendant on the box light 45 euro thought it would be easy turns out three steps to fitting the light step one 121 pieces to be attached step two is the shade they have to be attached to and step three is the bulb which I could not find in Woodies and no staff on the floor to even ask

I'd like to call out the excellent customer service I received in the Bray branch of Woodies. I had an issue with out door furniture and they could not have been more helpful, especially Annie, who went out of her way to rectify the issue.

I bought a tin of ronseal stain varnish in woddie yesterday. When I got home I noticed that it was for outdoor windows and doors. I was looking for interior wood stain. This morning I brought it back to the store to exchange it for Interior wood stain. I got assistance from one of the staff to find the interior wood stain only to find that hadn't got it. So I went up to the checkout to get a refund I was meet by a young lad with a silly smirk on his face, he informed me that he could refund my money to my visa debit card. I told that I forgotten my wallet and I did not have my card on me. I asked if he could give me cash he said no, so he called this so called manager a boy called Jack. He was no help at all he had a very bad attitude. I was not pleased with the customer service. I have been a loyal customer of Woddie for over 40 years, I will never shop in woddie again.

I had a lovely experience at Woodie’s Kilkenny recently while preparing for a celebration, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Liz for her outstanding assistance.

She helped me choose and arrange balloons for the occasion with such warmth, creativity, and professionalism. Liz brought genuine enthusiasm to the process and made sure everything was perfect – nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail and friendly manner truly enhanced the whole experience.

Thanks to Liz, everything looked fantastic and added the perfect touch to our celebration. She’s an absolute credit to the Woodie’s team!

Ordered two loungers (patio) online.
I was there at 9.15 am to collect them They were the only store "Carrickmines" had them in stock. I gave the person at the information desk the collection number. After about 20 minutes a colleague came out to say, "sorry there was an error on the system, we have none left" Surely a big store like Woodies would have a system to prevent errors like this. The person on the desk was way more intetested in chatting to colleagues than dealing with customers, that's so annoying.

Wexford store a joke.
I paid in full for two large items. Because of not enough room in my van, 1 item was labelled and kept by the store for me to collect 2 days later. When I returned to collect the item it could not be found... only to be told it was resold by the store that day. The guy Niall on customer service could not care less about what happened. I drove 90km round trip.

What is wrong with your staff in Glasnevin? I went to buy a lawn mower and first could not find any staff member willing to help. One lady leaned against a cash machine in the middle of the store and gave monosyllabic answers to two questions asked by my wife. She looked like someone had just told her her mother had died! At the exit help desk, an older lady shouted something unintelligible at me and at that point I walked out. On the other hand, I went to Coolock where I was met immediately by Shaun who took me competently and pleasantly through the advantages etc of the various lawn mowers on display, walked me to the cash desk, quickly got the mower onto a trolley and out into the car park etc - all in all, a most pleasant and enthusiastic staff member and very impressive. I suggest you make an anonymous raid on Woodies, Glasnevin, and see what’s wrong with the staff there. As for Coolock, give them all a bonus for outstanding customer service.

We ordered a new kitchen from Woodies, Wexford and we were engaged by a design expert who drew a digital map of our new kitchen to illustrate how it would look when installed. This gave us confidence to go ahead. The Appliances arrived on the day stated. The kitchen units were delivered on the day stated and the kitchen fitter arrived fully prepared for the installation that took two days. He was professional, knowledgeable and very experienced. The kitchen was fitted without any issues. We could not be happier with the kitchen and our overall experience. The designer in Woodies Wexford (Abby) and the Fitter (Sean) were brilliant.

We were looking for a lawnmower that was on sale in carlow we had to contact tallaght woodies and a chap named Daryl was of great assistance to us, we would just like to thank him for everything

I bought a BBQ online and it was delivered quickly which was great. Unfortunatley a few small parts were missing. I was able to organise a return and replacement very easily which fitted with my times at home.
Vanessa in the Customer Service Team was Excellent and brilliant to deal with.
I would highly recomend Woodie's following my experience.

Second time in woodies Athlone recently and it seems since your staff have gotten those headsets they have become completely removed from their customers, both times there was no interaction, hello goodbye please thanks…nothing. It was like I was putting them out from their chats having to serve me. I just got to listen to them gossiping while waiting to be served. Zero for your customer service woodies, Very unprofessional, very disappointed used to love going to your store.

Lovely pleasant informative staff member called Jessica , made our experience great at Tralee store.

Great customer service online. Emails from me were dealt with promptly and refund in my account in couple of days. Staff in the store are also very helpful.

Place and order on the 29th of April for bedroom furniture over 1000€ paid the 55€ delivery been 4 weeks still have no revived all my order the customer service is shocking on all sides one part was damaged (that can happen) but taking over 2 weeks to resolve it is a joke then I was missing part of the wardrobe for a week. Will not be shopping here again best of going to ikea in future judging by the other reviews. Customer service seems to be a problem so disappointed
