Dreadful customer service experience. Have a time sensitive question about a significant online order. Emailed customer support more than 48 hours ago and have received no response. Managed to get put through to the customers service teams phone line but went to voicemail and the voicemail was full and not allowing you to leave a message. Spoke to lady in store who said she had 30 people ringing the store today looking to talk to customer service as they aren't getting any response after submitting online request. An absolute disgrace for this size of a company. No online chat service. I will be avoiding online orders in future.

Tried contacting customer services - no reply. Still, better than my previous time using click & collect and when I went to collect, they said it had already been picked up and refused to refund me.
No Update After 3+ Weeks – Extremely Poor Customer Service
I’ve been trying for over three weeks to get an update on an online order that was damaged when DPD attempted delivery. I was offered either a refund or to have the same items dispatched again, and I chose to have them reshipped.
Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails to Woodie’s customer service asking when I can expect the order, but I haven’t received any response. A week ago, I was told the issue had been escalated to management, yet I’ve heard nothing further since.
I’ve also tried contacting them through Facebook Messenger without success, and when I attempted to call, I was told that customer service can only be contacted online.
At this point, I don’t know what else to do. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service.
When I accidently clicked to do a store…
When I accidently clicked to do a store pick up, it went into 'picking' quite fast. I contacted them to cancel it as I don't have a way to get there and back with the items.
They said they would cancel it but then the order went through to the next stage. I kept replying to the email but they literally stopped replying.
I got my refund a few days later but jesus wept.. they just cba replying... if you even get a reply.
I replaced the order on the 3rd for delivery.
Website says delivery is 5:95 and 2-3 working days.
Its been 5 working days and the order is still in 'picking'.
Looks like another Irish business that cba to sort themselves out. Probably have a handful of people handling customer service.. put in the bare minimum effort and pay them nothing
I'll find somewhere else to buy my items from and just get another refund from these time wasters
Don’t order online!
Don’t order online!! I made an order for a bbq 3 weeks ago and still no sign of it or update about it. The customer service is impossible to get a hold of. They ask you to fill out a form online but they don’t respond. The staff in store refuse to help if it’s an online order. Absolute disgrace.
Desperate
Terrible online ordering experience. I Ordered a large amount of soil/compost. A small amount was refunded due to low stock which is fine, but the rest was taking ages. After 10 days I emailed for an update and the next day a delivery arrived. The driver was woefully unequipped to deliver large orders - he didn't have a dolly so I had to help carry bags from the van and I had to lend him scissors to get the plastic wrapping off the pallet. I soon realised that the order was incomplete, only about half of what I ordered. I emailed Woodies to see where it was and they said they would look into it and I didn't hear back so I emailed them to just cancel and refund the remainder. Still no response. The delivery charge for this was €50 which is so expensive for such poor service.

Advertise goods with a delivery price. I was buying in Wexford, and was told that the €15 only applied to online sales and that their own local delivery could cost €80. I ordered online, where a 5-day delivery was advertised. 5 days later, no sign of it, no contact. Phoned them. Couldn’t put me through to customer services (which is basically a lie) so took my details and order number. Still no contact. No wonder they don’t reply here. Expensive and not backed up by professionalism. Forget them. Order elsewhere.
Refused to blow up balloons
Woodies refused to blow up balloons as it was too close to closing time when it was more than 30 minutes before closing.
What used to be a great company has really gone downhill. Won’t be frequenting any of their shops again

Wish I had looked here before doing an online order. It's been over a month since I received my online order with one item missing. I have now 3 seperate times asked for a refund and I'm getting absolutely nowhere. Rang the local store-go online. You go online and the AI bot won't bring you to a human agent. You fill out the online form only to wait days for a response or you just don't get one. Abysmal! The customer service is honestly the worst I've had to deal with and it's such a pity as I always want to support local but I'll never spend money with them again.
Cannot get a refund - do not join Woodies community
I wanted to return an online purchase as it arrived late. On purchasing the item I joined the woodies community and availed of the 10% discount. I spent 35 minutes in woodies in limerick trying to get a refund. As the amount I paid did not match the value of the item the system wouldn’t refund me. I left the store without the refund and spent the rest of the day & next day trying to get through to customer service. When I did no one came back to me. Eventually some one did yesterday & said the refund would be initiated &
Item collected from my house. As of yet I have still not received the refund & have to take the matter to the CPCC. Do not join the woodies community if you purchase online!

Why do they bother with online…
Why do they bother with online ordering....on several occasions I ordered and paid for something from the website only to get a message maybe the next day saying that the item is unavailable....
I'm used to the Bray store...I don't bother checking if they have something I need because chances are they don't have it online..but they probably do have it....case in point, patio sand"none in Bray" but half a pallet in the store...
I picked up some timber last week that wasn't even listed...just vastly overpriced Cheshire moulding stuff...

Waited 5 days still no emails to say on its way I called them the girl said she would email me I asked why couldn't she just tell me she said so they can track everything. So I get an email saying there is a backlog an it won't be here for the bh weekend.. I called back an it goes to vm an u can't even leave a vm.. Horrendous Cs an the way they are dealing with issues is just wrong on so many levels.. You can't even talk to someone... Never order online with his shambles..

Ordered patio set from Woodies Tallaght and delivery guy was a no show. Niall from Woodies rang me to apologise and offered to drop the set into me on his way home at 9..30pm, having just finished a sixteen hour day.
There were four large boxes, a parasol and a table, all of which he u loaded and brought in to where I wanted them.
I was truly grateful for all the trouble he went to and will definitely be shopping in Woodies Tallaagain.
Faulty product no response from customer care
I purchased a machine online and they sent me a faulty machine. I asked a replacement they said someone will contact me but no one did. I asked for return and refund because I was within 30 days but since my emails are being ignored despite several reminders for weeks.

We bought one of their Tallboy Cabinets and apart from being nearly impossible to put together it also is the most flimsy and useless piece of furniture.
If Woodies had any confidence in their furniture they would sell them in one piece.
Don't buy that stuff. Go to IKEA instead.
I bought a prosafe lawn mower from…
I bought a prosafe lawn mower from woodies 2.5 years ago, it was out of warranty. I had over thightned the blade on mower, it was ripped off the mower when i used it. brought it to other repair firms they wouldnt look at it as could not get parts for pro-safe. i was expecting it to be scrapped cost €500 but brought it back to woodies, they were very helpfull, took it in, got a price for repair €100. took a few weeks but at this time of year all repair places are busy. only quibble was they never phoned me back to say it was ready, phoning the cork store- calls were never answered but I got through by connecting to the kitchen department. overall the girl i dealth with was great and delighted not to have to chuck an expensive mower due to my own mistake !!!
