High cost of shipping for very small item
I have a Roche Coaguchek device and required a box of lances (your charge = £2.20/50 per box net of VAT). You are the only supplier. Your charge for delivery is £5.99 (net of VAT) irrespective of size/cost of product. As I am not a company and cannot reclaim VAT I was forced to buy 4 boxes to make it more economical. Therefore the total came to £17.75 (VAT £2.96) for an initial requirement of 50 lances which will last me 2 years, so they are likely to see me out (I am 75)! So not impressed by the postal charges for an item costing such a small amount!

Our website does advise you to call our sales team if you think you are VAT exempt and it advises this a second time at point of checkout. Our sales agents will be happy to complete a VAT exception form for you and amend your order accordingly.
Please give us a call on 01685-846666 select option 2 to discuss your order and any VAT exception with one of our customer care staff who will be happy to help.

CoaguChek XS PT Test PST New 24no Test strips ordered 15/11/24, received 18/11/24, all good except expiry date of strips 31/08/2025 only 10 months. the Q&A answer re shelf life is wrong, you can't use a day after expiry date and the strips do not have a 5 year shelf life. Sales team cannot influence expiry date they only ship product supplied. Q&A should be accurate.

The team will be happy to discuss the matter in greater detail with you. The average shelf life of the strips we supply is approximately 12 months, the majority of customers are asked to test weekly and so a pack of 24 strips would generally be used within a 6 month period. Please give us a call to discuss that matter further.

General ordering is simple and easy HOWEVER trying to obtain quotes for more expensive items or equipment is slow and time consuming compared to other supplies and more frequently less competitive in pricing these days
