Well, it's an odd arrangement. A referral from someone you don't know, but I get it. I basically got two different financial advisors trying to reach me. That's not easy. One kept trying and the other gave up. So far, the one I connected with from LPL Financial is keeping communication open and we've made a little progress - hence the 4 not 5 stars. We'll see.

Invested my time to submit information online but was advised that unless a phone number is supplied they were unable to connect to an advisor.
I requested the numbers of the advisors be supplied so they could be added to a 'permitted number list' in order to filter spam.
There was no response to two requests so my assumption is the business model requires monetization of personal data and without it there is no interest from Wiser Advisor.

Prompt response to my request. Choices all responded quickly. All were polite, etc.

Several advisors reached out. I spoke with 3, met with one, whom I decided to go with. The company is local, Vintage Wealth Advisors in Napa, CA. A local company was important to me. A friend is also affiliated with this company and is also very happy with them. Grant Smith is the person who reached out to me. I like him; I have confidence that he knows what he is doing. He communicates well with me. I have every reason to believe he will grow my money.

You provided some reasonable recommendations; we interviewed the top one; his approach is not appropriate for us. The second one is associated with a group that we had a negative experience with before; the third one, we did not interview. The firm, Allworth Financial, was responsive, arranged for a face-to-face meeting at their office near me and the advisor, Blake Davelaar, was knowledgeable, well spoken and listened to our needs.

The three advisors that contacted me were all quality referrals; we picked one of the three to become our advisor...the one in second place was very close in our estimation

I received three legitimate companies to interview and ultimately chose one. Good resource!

The recommendations I received from WiseAdvisor helped me chose a MUCH better financial advisor to handle my IRA.

WiserAdviser proposed 3 financial adviser (companies). I liked the first one I investigated sufficiently well that I did not bother the other two companies by contacting them. They provided contact information to make it easy for me to contact them, but the system used by WiserAdviser kept my contacts with the companies from becoming a nuisance either to them or to me. It was a very useful, easy system to use.

It was a great way to kick-start our search for financial help. Quick, convenient, professional.

I didn't realize I was going to be deluged with cold calls from investment firms after using WiserAdviser. Never again.

It seemed nice at first. . . three carefully chosen matches to my needs. So why did they sell my information to several other, very aggressive, I mean VERY AGGRESSIVE firms? I suspect one of the original three would have been great, but all of the others became a major nuisance. I went elsewhere.

I requested advisors from my zip code in the Houston area but I was contacted by advisors in California and Maryland so I was unable to use their services.

I was able to connect with 3 Advisors recommended to me. Two of the firms were what I was looking for and I selected based on location. Very happy with the service.
