Buying a kitchen currently.
The designer Charan in Slough has been very helpful, thorough and patient with details we've changed our minds on a few times!

Giving Wickes overall 4 stars instead of 5 as we discovered our two favourite door-front styles weren't available with one of the key features we wanted (corner cupboard) so we had to compromise on style to make it work.

I recently purchased a bathroom from Slough Store with Marius as the Designer who looked after it all from start to finish. His design was beautiful and very pleased with his attention to detail. Luke and his team were the installers and were very good, tidy and professional. Kept informed through the whole design, would definitely recommend the whole team. Thank you

We ordered a kitchen double oven and a kitchen unit to house the oven on the 25th of February expecting the delivery to take a couple of weeks.Wickes delivered the oven an expensive Bosch double oven with the packaging compleatly destroyed and only 2 doors from the oven housing unit with nothing else on Saturday the 5th of April. this means the oven is unusable. Wickes have no one who you can talk to no management available and no answers.
23% of the reviews they get are one star and the replies are all standard wording, when they get an issue they have no idea how to resolve it and only pay lip service to customer service.
This company is clearly not interested in satisfying their customers they just want to take your money.

As a follow up we visited the store this morning the manager was not interested and could not help, they did let us use their phone to customer service but after over half an hour of waiting customer service did not answer the phone! Wickes have no idea what good customer service looks like.
We have replied to their reply below but on current performance we do not expect them to sort out the mess they created.

I had a great experience at the Wickes in slough. Jagz helped so much and I am very grateful for all the help he has provided.

Brought a wheelbarrow in the Bracknell branch but I made a mistake and needed one the was less wide. Took a back to the Slough branch (as it was nearer) and they could not have been more helpful. Exchanged it for a different type and the staff at the checkout sorted the paperwork. Very impressed by their attitude and efficiency. Well done.

Thanks to the team (Nina and Chloe) in Slough last week who helped out with the Community Fund for our charity project. The school PTA held a DIY day and the floor protection was just what we needed. We couldn't have completed the work without it.
Appreciate it.

Jason was helpful and professional throughout our Wickes experience. From the home visit, to design, to texts and calls to check everything was OK our end. We really appreciated the time and care he took on our case.

Unfortunately, due to our front roof collapsing (amongst other unplanned expenses) we had to cancel our bathroom. Jason was understanding and talked us through possible options.

We will be back to Wickes when ready!

I was served by Jagz at the slough branch who was highly efficient and effective with my queries. It's always good to speak to somebody with knowledge about the multiple products they sell, a very helpful and friendly chap with a can do attitude made this a pleasant and straight forward trip for me.

I purchased numerous items for my new flat and I had to ask the staff members to help me .Unfortunately they were very unhelpful until I managed to find the lovely Indian gentleman called I believe Jay.
He was so polite and helpful .His knowledge of where the products are located is amazing. He was such a credit to your store and is a real asset .It turned a bad experience into a really positive visit.

I recently remodeled my kitchen over Christmas 2024 and visited Wickes (Slough) several times for materials. While all the staff were amazing, I wanted to give a special shout-out to Nina. She served me on multiple occasions, always with a smile and genuine interest in my project and holiday plans. Nina offered helpful advice on discounted products versus full-priced ones, making me feel confident in the store's reliability. Thanks to her exceptional service, I decided to sign up for a trade account today, something I don't usually do as I like to shop around. However, with such great service and a good trade discount, I can see myself exclusively shopping here for my building materials from now on.

We recently got our Kitchen from Wickes. It was designed by Jason Fox and only word I can describe our experience is just awesome 🤩

My mate's just bought a house so he needed quite a lot of garden tools. Brought him to Wickes because they have good quality stuff at great prices. He was served by Nina who is very helpful. She has worked there for many years. Wickes must be doing something right to keep great staff like her for so long.

I needed a bathroom renovation fairly urgently. After some deliberation, I chose to go to Wickes. Following my meeting with Marius Raaths, designer, I decided to settle on Wickes for the project. Marius understood exactly what I was looking for and created a superb design that complimented my smaller sized bathroom. Now that all the work is complete, I am extremely happy with the look and functionality of the bathroom. Thanks for a fantastic design and for being ever so helpful throughout Marius.

We replaced a very old shower room (Shower, WC & washbasin). In our research we visited Slough Wickes with a very good choice of bathrooms on display. Marius helped us with excellent product knowledge, including steering us away from unsuitable products. With that assistance we quickly found products to suit. The only exception was the 2in1 toilet withintegrated wash basin. Unfortunately Wickes do not stock those so we sourced that elsewhere. (Our room was too small for anything else). Marius quickly created our design and was very responsive to slight adaptations as work progressed. The fitter recommended was also excellent. The work and products guaranteed. End to end excellent service. We'd use Wickes again as a result of our experience. Thank you Marius.It was a pleasure to deal with you.

Having not replaced a bathroom for 20 years we were struggling to make progress. We had tried several other routes but when we visited Maarius at Wickes, Slough we began to make progress. He was patient and knowledgeable and following his visit our design began to develop. We discussed the design with Maarius several times and he was always helpful and accommodating. He has a complete knowledge of the equipment and the practical side of installation.
