Abi was amazing giving me a design and quote for a new kitchen. She went above and beyond. Despite going over the allocated time she even gave my partner a quote for his bathroom and kitchen improvements which he is delighted with.

Harris who helped us with our very large paint order and other bits and bobs was incredible! So friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I’ll be coming back just because of him!

I was sent to purchase a 13 amp terminal connector. I showed the image i had found on line to Tracy who told me exactly where to find what i was looking for. She was fast friendly and seemed very happy to help. Who needs AI when you have Tracy working for you!

We popped over to the Wickes Shipley store to talk through ideas for a new kitchen, and the service was genuinely excellent. Rebecca Cox took the time to walk us through options, share her knowledge, and help us think about things we hadn’t even considered. It made the long drive absolutely worth it. Really friendly, really helpful — would happily recommend the Shipley team. Five stars from us.

Abby arrived late and didn’t apologise. She quickly got down to business but was a little off hand and not prepared to listen carefully to my priorities regarding the bathroom design. She understood what Wickes was able to provide and she seemed knowledgable. However I was already nervous about Wickes because of their use of contractors and Abby’s lack of professionalism further undermined my faith in the company.

Harris was incredibly helpful today when I visited the store. I had no idea what type of paint I needed - he talked me through the options, the range of brands and I left with exactly what I needed.

Aadam was an absolute star at helping sort out tile colour matching, even getting a heavy feature tile out of my car to help match exact colour.

Helpful staff and everything in stock.

The store had all the things I needed in stock. The assistants in store were able to direct me to where the products were, when I couldnt locate them myself.
The checkout assistant, Harris, was particularly helpful with arranging for next day delivery of the things I bought and also in giving advice about which products would be best, and advising me of offers available on some of them.I could not fault his patience and his knowledge about products. He was polite and good humoured and indeed, a perfect employee .

Booked a kitchen design appointment. Went on time, it’s not close to us, even though I was feeling unwell. Got there and all staff seemed bored. Took measurements and was told our design programme is crap and too slow so will do it later and send it to you in 5 days time. Total waste of time. I could have sent measurements by email. I had already been to another company and had a very different experience. This was appalling. You can’t advertise it as a design appointment when you are not providing your customers with a design. The customer service was shocking felt we were a hindrance.

Bobbed in to collect some paint (originally assumed it was to be mixed at an additional cost). Was served by Tracy who very kindly pointed out that the pre mixed is cheaper and that it’s worth double checking that pre mixed wasn’t available. It was and I saved at least £10.

If there was an emergency, fine, but the unprofessionalism is very poor.

We were going to Shipley store to look at kitchen units. Tracy showed us where to find different items and ranges. She was very helpful and friendly. She kindly pointed out the accessible lift. This meant that we were able to take our time and enjoy making our choices. Other staff we spoke to were also very helpful and friendly. We’d be happy to go to Wickes again, thank you.

Been shopping today for some hardwood at Wickes Shipley. At the checkout got a pleasure to be served by a lovely lady called Tracy. She is such a helpful and honest lady - sorted me out with WickesTrade account within minutes so I could start saving money which really helps these days.
