I recently order s door.wood and door fittings i received every thing but the door fitting had a very little help from customer services but got on to the opetationa manager at the Maidstone branch and I will praise him for his help in solving the problem very very helpful at this branch

Went into the Maidstone branch of Wickes and had a couple of questions about bathrooms, so asked a member of staff (Elaine) who was very happy to help. A couple of questions led to several more questions and Elaine was not only friendly and approachable but also very knowledgeable. Definitely a real asset to ur team, bent over backwards to help my mum giving her many different choices and advice. Many thx Elaine 😊

We purchased and had our bathroom installed by Wickes, and I can confidently say I would never buy a bathroom from them again. The aftercare has been incredibly disappointing. We've had two separate issues, both of which took months to resolve. Once the installation is complete, they seem to take no further responsibility. I deeply regret choosing Wickes—especially since we had such a positive experience with Bathstore at our previous home. In hindsight, we should have stuck with what we knew worked

I have recently started to use Wickes, having lived overseas for many years - it has to be said that our local Wickes in Maidstone is an absolute pleasure to visit - nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff there. I always find everything I require for the refurbishment project we are undertaking on a recently acquired period property. Jim at checkout yesterday was particularly helpful as I passed through with my most recent purchases. - Keep up the great work, Wickes team, you are brilliant!

I came into the store today looking for a shower curtain rail that I'd found online. In store, it was a slightly different price, so I questioned it with the first 3 lovely staff members that were working hard in the design studio. Tracy, Sam and Abbie.
They told me that I'd selected an upgraded product from the one I'd found online, hence the price difference. My fault!!
I had some questions about the product and they all went above and beyond to research it for me in able to answer my questions. They then went one step further and gave me an awesome 'hack', which will result in another purchase, up
selling ultimately.
Well done them!! I really can't thank them enough 😁

St Francis Catholic Primary School would like to express sincere gratitude for the incredible support we received through the Wickes Community Project. This scheme is truly brilliant and so worthwhile for any organisation in need.

We desperately needed paint for our outdoor Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) area, which was looking tired and uninspiring. Thanks to Wickes, we received a generous donation of paint that will completely revitalise the space, making it vibrant, engaging, and a much more stimulating environment for our youngest pupils.

A special shout-out must go to Gemma, a staff member at Wickes, who was absolutely invaluable throughout the process. She was exceptionally helpful and always at the end of an email.

The positive impact on our school and, most importantly, on the children, will be immeasurable. This project demonstrates Wickes' genuine commitment to supporting local communities. Just purchased a new kitchen through the Maidstone branch Michael Girscher, the kitchen planner was very helpful. The kitchen was delivered on time and the delivery men were very good. Two doors were damaged which we notice until the fitting team unpackaged. They had to be reordered which took a week to come. That was the only gripe. The fitters were excellent Judda Limbu of T4GS Carpentry Construction and his team worked to a high standard and nothing was too much trouble. They were polite and a pleasure to have in our home. We would wholeheartedly recommend them! Outstanding work from start to finish. Thank you Judda and team.

The whole experience of replacing the kitchen was a lot easier than expected, from walking into the Maidstone store and sitting down with Michael Girscher to carry out the design, to watching it develope at home from our old kitchen to one with clean modern lines.
We are extremely pleased with the finished product everybody we had any dealings with were pleasant and understanding from the lads who delivered it to the whole crew from Buildertrix including the kitchen fitters, the electrician and the plasterer, who handled the installation.
Top tip, get more than one design before committing yourself wickes designer came up with some very intuitive ideas and better use of our space which increased our customer satisfaction.

I recently visited to buy filler for a DIY project and was helped by 2 lovely team members, I didn't catch his name but a gentleman directed me to the filler and moved the barrier for me to be able to access it. I was also served by Jim at the checkout and he was so lovely and cheerful! Really kind and helped me use my tradecard for a little discount. Whenever I come here they're always so friendly and helpful and always well stocked shelves.

Design Consultation- Maidstone In-Store ‘Michael Girscher’ very knowledgeable, listened carefully & competent. From initial design process to installation date just 5 weeks (not 8-10 weeks.)
Top Tip-Allow plenty of time for appointment depending on size of job, we needed 2-3 hours. On arrival to Maidstone branch ensure you scan the QR code to avoid a parking ticket.
Customer Experience Co-ordinator- ‘Craig’ communication via text/emails prior to installation/deliveries exceptional however during installation process interaction was VERY poor when contacted. On the other hand, a thank you to ‘William’ for such a quick response.
Installer- Builder Dream – ‘Andy’, ‘Kirk’, ‘Casey’ and electrician ‘Toby’ worked tirelessly in building our dream kitchen. We felt incredibly lucky in having such skilful craftsmen all working seamlessly in harmony. Andy you’ll never know how reassuring you were throughout such a daunting process. Daily you would answer my questions with a smile and such positivity plus always let us know next steps. Massive thank you to you all in building our beautiful dream kitchen to an outstanding standard. We will enjoy it for many years to come.
Top Tip- Have a contingency budget for the unexpected!

Staff member Jim - what an absolute legend. His paint expert knowledge is 2nd to none. Oh, and by the way- if you need to to know anything in relation to Rock music through the ages- Jim is your man!!!

Lovely guy called Jim helped me with my building material. He didn’t know that I was disabled. That was very helpful. It was lovely to chat to someone like Jim and makes such a change to have somebody so polite so helpful and so professional.
