Wasn sure exactly what i needed and wasn't sure about the price which I mentioned at the till.
Jim, serving me, ran me through all my options, offered some further advice which led to me selecting a different product that was almost 10% cheaper so I felt like I'd saved a few quid too. Thanks Jim and thanks Wickes for employing kind, helpful staff lime him.

Abbie provides excellent customer service
I phoned Wickes Maidstone to request a home visit for my elderly parents as they wanted to update their bathroom. I arranged for Abbie to visit us after explaining a bit about their accessibility needs. Abbie spent time with my parents getting to know what they needed and how they would use the bathroom. We visited Abbie in store today to review her design options and finalise the specific details needed. From start to finish, Abbie was really helpful, friendly and patient, ensuring that everything we needed was done. Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent member of staff - Jim
Excellent, could not locate item initially as it was down an aisle that had no customer access for maintenance. A member staff (Jim) was incredibly helpful at locating and bringing the required item, and then putting it through the till immediately.

Staff were amazingly helpful
Staff were amazingly helpful, both on the phone and in store, when we made a complex set of purchases which we could not have gotten anywhere else. Special mentions to Tracy, Callum and Sam.

Good old fashioned service.
We went into Wickes without knowing exactly what we needed to paint our fence. Jim took us round and helped with our choice. He was extremely helpful, good old fashioned service. Would definitely choose Wickes again.

A really refreshing experience thanks to the friendliness and knowledge of Jim (Maidstone). I find DIY places a bit intimidating as a woman, but Jim’s friendliness made any nerves ebb away quickly. He was jovial, relaxed, friendly and shared his extensive background in paint, offering that we could draw upon it if we ever needed guidance.
Customer purchases can be so impersonal and sterile, but Jim went way beyond a transaction and delivered exceptional service which is long forgotten in modern society. Thank you Jim.
