Bank Holiday Monday May 2026.

Went to wickes for quarter turn tap washers. Showed the chap what taps they were for (as they sell the taps). Was assured I'd been given the correct ones. 28th May fitting day (I got caught up in other stuff, so long delay). Wrong washers. Went back to wickes "we don't sell those washers", and was sold 7 and 10mm glands as was unsure of size. Went to pay, two staff in a personal conversation ignored me, after a polite prompt, they carried on ignoring me so I placed items on desk and said, "I'm off to B&Q. Arrived B&Q, helpful from the start, but like wickes, they only sell the glands and a helpful "this one will do sir". Got home, 2 minute fitting and yes indeed, that one will do. The difference between B&Q and wickes, is night and day.

Thank you to Ashley Turton for a fantastic experience as you designed our new kitchen. We appreciated your communication and support through this first phase of the project, which we able to complete in super quick time without any stress or complication. Ashley came up with a great design and we cannot wait for the kitchen to be installed.

I rang the store and spoke to Rowan, who was very helpful with my query. He asked me to ask for him when I visited the store to purchase what I needed, which I did.
It was a complicated purchase and I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed. Rowan was so helpful and sorted it all out for me, rung it through the tills, carried it out to my car and arranged it so it fitted safely.
This was the very best customer service from a very polite and helpful young man, I can’t thank him enough!

Was purchasing six bags of top soil, compost and sharp sand with the assistance of Vicky, who was quietly confident with nothing being too much trouble. Being professional doesn’t always mean showing off with knowledge and advice, it also means understanding customers and being able to communicate in a manner that is fitting with them. Well done Vicky! You made our experience quick, pleasant and efficient ……what more could I ask!

Drafted up the kitchen plans for my first home, Carl Price has been a pleasure to work with through the process. Highly recommend.

Wickes have a fabulous selection of kitchens, utilities and accessories on display. We met MJ at the Lincoln branch and we went over what we liked the look of and what sort of thing we were after and then we arranged a date for him to come out and measure up. The home visit was very thorough and we felt he really got to know us and know what we wanted. We then arranged a date to go and see the design in store. We were welcomed with a hot drink and MJ was as excited as we were for the design reveal. WOW is what came next! I couldn’t believe I was looking at the same kitchen! MJ had worked wonders and given us more than we could have wished for. We are truly grateful to MJ and so pleased we got him to do design our kitchen. We can’t wait to see the end result. I recently ordered a new bespoke fitted kitchen and the experience so far has been superb. The order process was straightforward, making everything stress-free from the outset. The designer, Carl, has been incredibly helpful throughout, providing excellent advice and guidance at every stage. It’s genuinely been a pleasure working with him, and I can't wait to see the final kitchen installed. I will update this post after the kitchen has been installed later in the year. I cannot recommended Carl highly enough.

We visited Lincoln’s Wickes store to source a kitchen. The assistant was very helpful and referred us to MJ Smit, Design Consultant. MJ visited our home and thoroughly explored the site of the kitchen. This was supplemented with him exploring our requirements, wishes. We felt comfortable leaving him to design our new kitchen. We attended a presentation of the design at the store. The design was outstanding and all areas of the design were fully explained and MJ demonstrated excellent communication skills. He was able to demonstrate the appliances, cupboard solutions/choices within the store. We found the whole process a very positive experience. Throughout MJ was professional, knowledgeable and able to find solutions to problem areas within the kitchen area. I would have no problem in recommending Wickes and MJ.

There was no time pressure. Everything went at our own pace, eventually getting sorted in 5 months. The knowledge our bathroom designer Carl Price showed was excellent, extensive and relevant. He showed so much enthusiasm and engagement in a career he clearly loved. With 3 consultations we did not changed the main layout but we did tweaked the designs several times - nothing was too much trouble. Please note I Have been in the trades for 30 plus years and I only wright reviews if they are bad are excellent. this was excellent.

Our new bathroom is now insitu and it really does look amazing! The quality of the products are second to none and the finishing touches mean a meticulous process has been followed. We would like to thank our design consultant, MJ, who listened carefully to our needs and guided us through the entire project from start to finish. Also, special thanks to Rohan, Op Manager, who swiftly chased up a couple of outstanding issues we had meaning that the installation process wasn’t delayed. I would highly recommend Wickes bathroom products and highly recommend the staff in Wickes Lincoln.

I had a brilliant experience at Wickes Lincoln (Outer Circle) today. I was struggling to find a specific product, but a lovely senior female staff member stepped in and saved the day...🤗 I didn't catch her name, but her friendly attitude and professional approach made my shopping trip so much easier.
It's rare to get such genuine help these days-huge thanks to her for going the extra mile...👍 5 stars👏👏

We went to discuss having a new kitchen installed.
Carl Price, Design Consultant saw us from start to pre install. His visit to our house helped him to understand our requirements and needs. His expertise was greatly appreciated and nothing was too much trouble. He made the whole process very easy for us, including guiding us through the financial requirements. We would personally like to thank Carl for his help. Would recommend Carl at Wickes if you want a new kitchen designed.

We attended an appointment in Lincoln, with bathroom designer, MJ, who was an absolute joy to work with. Within a few minutes, it was evident that we could not have managed without his expertise. MJ listened carefully and without judgement to what we wanted and then gently guided us, and designed the most amazing bathroom and separate toilet. His expertise was second to none and we felt safe in his hands. Thank you very much MJ.

After our initial visit, we were booked in for a consultation with Carl Price. Wow, this is a gentleman who loves his job and has a vast knowledge of the kitchens and appliances on offer at Wickes, Lincoln!

Carl immediately put us at ease and he listened carefully to all our requirements. There were countless choices to be made, and all the options were clearly explained and demonstrated in order to help us make our decisions. At no point did we feel rushed.

Throughout the whole process, we felt that we were being guided, rather than led in a particular direction.

We look forward to the installation of our lovely new kitchen!

Carl Price has navigated us through the decision making process of buying a new kitchen.
With a lot for us to think about, he was professional, patient, listened to our needs and took time to help us make the right choice, always offering advice and new ideas. He took time to understand our taste.
He is very thorough so ensure you give yourself plenty of time for him to discuss your options.
We chose to go with Wickes because Carl is a really nice, friendly fella, who I believed had our best interests at heart and who designed us a lovely kitchen.

We had our new kitchen designed by Carl Price. Carl was very helpful, informative & wanted to understand exactly what we wanted. Lots of ideas & explained everything in detail. He spends time with you & never rushes you. All round great experience.

We order the Madison Dark Grey cabinets for our new refurbished kitchen last year September with Carl D Price. He came to our house and measured the walls. Received 25% discount as for T&C. Start putting new cabinets on the wall in mid December, unfortunately the last cabinets was hanging on the entrance door 30mm ( wrong measurement taken) Need to take down all the cabinets and back to the store to order new smaller size to match the base. Carl said that, it will be alright to cut down the cabinet, I’ve tried to explain him that this is impossible and other store member he agreed with me. He also said that he will picked up the bigger cabinet from our house- he never turned up, so I drop off the cabinet in store. He also mentioned that further orders need to go through him so we will receive the discount. Last month we wanted to add 3 x additional wall cabinets, as the kitchen walls was fully plastered, so we emailed to Carl , he done the quote with the discount on my trade account and website 5% That is fair enough but not this what he was saying in September. Then he called me after work hours to take a payment over the phone( unfortunately I work shift and not carry on the debit card with me at all the time ) I’ve sent 4 emails in a month explaining that I will pop in to the store after work, ideally at weekends and pay off. He never send the invoice to the till but he said , Yes of course,. Eventually I reorder the cabinets with different store member without additional discounts last weekend. I will not make the comments how he done the drawings for the kitchen as this need separate attention ( example; if the plinth came as 140mm high and the drowning show 135mm , you not trimmed 5mm off just higher the work top to match the cabinets and side panel , on the drawing was 135mm for the plinth and the same for the base panel , but the panel is 890mm. Don’t need to trim that off.
Wickes it’s great store and we will continue shopping at Lincoln Wickes, but any more purchases for the kitchen or bathroom we will order online, without the hassle.
