Our kitchen was old and tired so we took the plunge and decided to change the kitchen. we wondered aimlessly around wickes one day and Deepa kindly took us under her wing. From the start to the finish she looked after us, guided us and gave us a beautiful new kitchen which is being admired by all our visitors. Her in depth knowledge of designing is much to be admired and credited. Thank you.

Deepa listened to what we were after,and made a lot of helpful suggestions even came.to our house twice to see what we were after,and found us the right contractor and made sure we were happy with him,very pleased with end result,
Also the contracter she found for us,(Vasil) was priceless,excellent worker cared about our premises and his work..would recommend Wickes and Vasil

Deepa has been absolutely incredible with my kitchen, and I’m not the easiest customer! She’s been patient and given the best advice, I can’t thank you enough 🫶🏼🫶🏼

The staff are so helpful and cheerful. Deepa spent time with us to help us with planning our kitchen and bathrooms in our new home. Her advice was so useful. Wickes will definitely be on the top of our list of companies we would like to buy a kitchen from.

Ian e is very helpful in the Hemel Hempstead store nothings to much !

I went in to the Hemel Hempstead store to buy 2 x20kg of levelling compound but I needed help to get them onto my trolley. A very helpful man called Ian arranged for someone to meet me in the aisle.
Findlay arrived and said he would be with me shortly just needed to put a safety barrier around the area where he was stocking shelves. As he did so I saw him check with another customer if he needed any of the products which he’d put the barrier in front of. He put the products I needed into my trolley and said he would put them in my boot I just needed to let the checkout team know.
He then looked across at the checkout and could see a queue so went over to serve a customer. Then he helped me again by putting the products in the car. What surprised me was the initiative he showed in helping customers. He went above and beyond.

Popped in in a rush needing some bits urgently but didn’t know where they were or the correct names to describe them but was able to find everything I needed thanks to Ian E. He was incredibly helpful and very friendly and made it far less stressful. Thanks Ian, has anyone ever mentioned that you look like a cross between George Clooney and Keith Chegwin? And I mean that in a good way.

Really helpful member of staff (Ian E) helped explain which products I needed and showed me where to find them. Going to measure up properly now (following his helpful advice!) to work out what I need to come back for.

Deepa was fantastic from day one right through to the end. She explained everything in detail and was understanding when we changed details. Finished product is fantastic, looks wonderful and is exactly what we wanted.

Ian & Kevin were both extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the store.

Great service from Finlay & Amelia in store. Really knowledgeable in helping advise on materials needed for my project and very customer focused even on a very busy Sunday. Nothing was too much trouble and a real credit to Wickes. Hemel store is always well stocked and prices seem competitive to other merchants I shop with.

Great experience at Wickes Hemel Hempstead, the staff are always friendly, helpful, and the store is well organised with a good range of quality products. I’ve noticed the MDF beaded panels usually go on offer a few times a year, but not yet this time — hopefully they’ll be included in an upcoming promotion.

I want to say thanks to the very polite young gentleman that served me last week. Kevin was very helpful and very patient. I asked him a lot of questions but Kevin was very thorough and made sure that I was happy with my purchases. I really did feel well looked after. I find a lot of shops these days have forgotten what customer service is, Kevin truly was exceptional and it is clear that he really takes pride in his work. I left the store with everything that I needed and a smile on my face after such a lovely interaction.
