James Clark our design consultant was very personable. He took on board our ideas and designed usa stylish modern kitchen. We are very satisfied with the end product and would highly recommend his services.
Daron Hooper (DLR kitchen installations) did the survey for the fitting , his fitter Mike and his assistant Amber were professional and efficient .

I had just brought a new house and it needed a new kitchen, I first went to AJ who planned my whole kitchen to exactly what I wanted, his customer service skills were amazing and I felt like he really listened to me and tried to adjust everything accordingly, I then went back for a second visit which was equally pleasant with AJ. I found the whole process of designing and ordering a new kitchen very overwhelming but AJ always came with a Solution. highly recommend! Thank you

I visited the Colchester store with my friend, both ladies in our 60s. We chose the paint I wanted, 2 cans, one 2.5 litre and the other 5 litre and then added a 10 litre tub of white paint which we struggled to even lift. There were staff close by but no assistance was offered and when I asked where I could get a trolley, I was told they were outside. There was a choice of an ordinary shopping style trolley which there was no way we were going to be able to lift the paint into, or a huge flatbed style trolley which we struggled with but got our paint onto. We were unsure what the till system was but instead of being asked if we needed help we were ignored and a customer behind us was called round us to be served first! We won’t be going back there.

Absolute superb service from Nicky in the Colchester branch. I couldn't get through to Wickes Head office to cancel an order. So Nicky took care of it, she spoke to the delivery department and sorted out the cancellation. Her communication was excellent. 5 star customer service 👌

We felt that Andrew Lovlee understood the brief we gave him straight away and was very helpful and understanding.
He took time to help us with our choices and gave us a very detailed idea of how are kitchen would look.
No question seemed too much for Andrew to answer and we felt completely at ease with him.
When i rang him the following Monday after our meeting again he was able to answer our questions and we were made to feel valued customers.
On our return to purchase our kitchen again Andrew was more than helpful and spent time with us making sure everything was as we expected.

Thank you John from Wicks in Colchester, your patience and been able to manage my wife’s expectations on the outcome of our bathroom was amazing 🤩, also to note, thank you to James and Andrew from premier contractors , amazing attention to detail , neat and clean and patient and understanding of our needs, the whole experience from start to finish including the return of the not needed stuff which we promptly got a credit for and a redo of the interest free credit agreement. Top men … thank you all so much.

Absolutely appalling experience with Wickes. I hold a trade account and spent a significant amount of money on materials, only to find my van had a flat tyre in their loading bay—caused by nails left behind by a previous user. While sorting that out, I overstayed their ridiculous parking limit by just 20 minutes. Instead of any understanding or communication, a parking ticket was sent to an old address, even though my trade account is fully updated with my current address. Now I’ve got DCPL threatening me for £165 over something entirely avoidable and caused by their own negligence.

This is how Wickes treats loyal trade customers? Utterly disgraceful.
Never shopping here again.

From picking the cupboards. Andrew loviee Designed our kitchen. Giving great advice on how it would look. Taking time to make sure we were happy. Lovely personalty. And very professional. Stepen Spires team. Demolished the old kitchen right back to brick. Electricians then came in and set the ceiling lights. And wires for under cupboard light. Plasterers. Did a brilliant job ceiling down to floor. Then Cody came and put together the units and built the kitchen. The plumbers came and plumb in the appliances. And then finishing with all the lights. Going on. Every man and woman was polite and VERY professional. Highly recommende Spires builders. And Wicks. Thank you.

One star is generous if I could give minus I would. Has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had from a big company. From delivery to product and then customer service.

We were looking for a new bathroom and cloakroom and found other companies challenging and not helpful. Andrew Lovlee arrived, he was very quick, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful.

From the initial visit to the store, home visit, ordering and delivery Andrew’s knowledge, expertise and support was outstanding, contacting me every step of the way. Great experience from start to finish. AJ, in Wickes, Colchester, knowledgeable and very patient with the design process which we changed countless times. A timeline was set and was kept to perfectly. Everything delivered as arranged. Brilliant fitters, Mike and Amber, excellent job. Often with jobs like this I feel, 'I could have done better myself'. We had a bathroom fitted a couple of weeks ago. John did a fantastic job of planning our new bathroom, we found him very knowledgeable and helpful - nothing seemed too much trouble,
The installation team were always polite and helpful - a big shout-out for Noah and Mark both of them were hard working and after the installation was finished they left our house spotless. We will definitely recommend.

From the start we were guided through the design and costs by John, through to the pre-installation service that kept us up to date on delivery, to the install team that where professional and experienced and the after sales, that turned a damaged panel around in a few days.

Made an appointment with John to plan and buy a new kitchen. John could not have been more helpful. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. When we wanted something which did not fit he always came up with excellent alternatives.
Would definitely recommend John and Wickes when buying a new kitchen.

Andrew Lovelee was a fantastic designer. He really understood our requirements and made our perfect bathroom. It’s modern, funky and better than we could have imagined. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We came in to the Colchester branch today with a tummy time crab for my little one that we have not been able to get into for the past month due to the screw holes being so small! Angelina and Richie went absolutely out of their way to ensure we could get the screws out and the toy working for my little one!! Amazing employees and such lovely people!
