Extremely pleased with our new kitchen from Wickes. James Clark was excellent helping us design our kitchen and the installation team of Darren Watts were polite and extremely hard working, especially during an extreme May heatwave. Project managers checked in on the installation team and there were several follow up calls at the end to confirm we were happy with the result. I definitely recommend Wickes for a kitchen.

AJ helped with designing my kitchen and bathroom about 5/6 months ago. He took measurements and helped pick out the products in no time. Due to my circumstances I wasn’t able to move forward with the planned projects. Last week, I contacted AJ again to get moving on the kitchen project, he picked up right where we left off. We confirmed all the products and he took the time to ensure everything was still what I was looking for. I didn’t have to start all over again, and AJ made the process extremely easy! Can’t wait to see the designs come to life.

James turned up on time, listened to what we wanted to achieve. Which was most important, measured up and came up with what we are hoping will be working solutions. Going back to see him in a weeks time when he will have finished the initial plans. Gave us every confidence in his ability to plan something we can work with. Looking forward to next visit to showroom.

Recently had a kitchen fitted from Wickes. The whole process from start to finish was flawless. Our designer AJ was patient and understood what we wanted and designed an amazing kitchen.
Our fitter Glenn was simply brilliant. I would definately recommend Wickes for kitchen design & installation.

Decision made to have a new kitchen in our bungalow after moving in to it approx 2 years ago. Brother in law recommended Wickes, he is a retired shop fitter and installed a Wickes kitchen into his bungalow. Went in store to look at options as we had a total blank canvas. There we met kitchen designer John McCormick who really provided us with options and answered all our initial questions very professionally. John then visited our bungalow, listened to our views, requirements and gave us solid idea's and options. NO HARD sell just good views. John took onboard all of our comments and views and produced a design which met all of our requirements with the design being spot on when we went back to store. There was good communication throughout with John. Order was placed. Contacted by Installer Peter Smith for a pre-install meeting, where dims and design were fully checked over and then any issues associated with the install was bought to our attention. Date for install agreed. Continued communication took place with logistics team from the time that the order was placed until the material was delivered at the agreed date and time. Peter Smith, Installer, was on site from 8 in the morning until after 5 most days I cant recommend highly enough his workmanship, work ethics and communication throughout the 6 days. Like all jobs there will always be snags, ours were in my view relatively minor and I thought they would be resolved promptly by the after sales department. Unfortunately this was not the case and frustrations came into place due to no e-mail responses and no real communication advising what was going on etc. In the end I visited the Colchester Store and had discussions with Renato Apuzzo who was able to sort the issues out promptly and kept in regular communication through out the whole process until all the issues were resolved. The service received from John McCormick, Renato Apuzzo and Peter Smith was first class throughout but I'm afraid from my experiences that cant be said of the after sales side of the business. I would have given 5 stars if the minor issues had been resolved without having to come into the Colchester store. Neil Wells

Sales team/designers are very good at there job they will tell you exactly what you want to hear and the cost for the extra work will only be a little more about £900 on top of what you pay wicks for specialist work. this is after they have visited your home and have seen exactly what is needed. then once the job has started the real costs start coming mine cost an extra £3000 in extra work needed. at the point when you have a stripped out room and no choice to continue. to make matters worse a job that was only going to take 2 weeks took 8 due the sales person ordering the wrong items and the worktop being delivered damaged 4 times. whole prosses was a joke i have only scratched on the surface avoid like the plague do not use, their customer service is beyond belief, they never call back or reply to emails.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew Lovlee at Wicks Colchester Branch for a complete bathroom refurbishments. Andrew’s attention to detail and designs were exactly what I was looking for. Complete customer focused and professionalism stood out to me when dealing with Andrew which ultimately lead me to complete my order.

I have bought a kitchen from Wickes, Colchester branch. Mr Andrew Lovlee was very helpful, nothing was too much to ask for and he designed a kitchen that is perfect for me.

I had a brilliant experience with Wickes Colchester, from start to finish. The sales process was very smooth, transparent and personalised. Salesman Andrew Lovlee was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive to queries - nothing was too much trouble for him.
Then when it came to our installation, we could not have asked for a better fitter than Michael Robinson of ​DLR Kitchen Installations LTD - really friendly, highly skilled, and incredible attention to detail at every turn.
I would not hesitate to recommend Wickes Colchester to anyone looking for a high quality kitchen at a competitive price.

We visited Andrew Lovlee in the Colchester branch in April for a bathroom redesign. Compared to competitors the price was much more reasonable and the ideas put forward were amazing. Andrew didn't just only listen to what we wanted, he clearly understood how small design tweaks would make such a big impact to both style and practability. 10/10 would recommend and use again for further designs!

I’ve just had a my kitchen fitted and I love it. John the designer was so helpful and patient with me from the start with me and my constant mind changing. From coming to the house and measuring to in store going through every detail. . I had an image in my head and he created just that and more. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you!

Had a new kitchen fitted in March 2026 and we are very pleased with it. John at Colchester spent a lot of time with us whilst we chose between the many options available. The only disappointment was that the proposed light board above the window was too flimsy to be unsupported across the span required.
Steve's team of fitters were very professional and respectful of our home. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a in store appointment with Andrew lovlee and wow what a very nice and very knowledgeable man he planed out our shower room and it was so much better than we ever imagined it could be

Colchester Wickes have done the most amazing job on our kitchen. John handled the order with efficiency and precision and Steve and his team were utter perfectionists.
