Matt at Wickes Christchurch was super helpful today. He went out of his way to track down items that were in stock but not on display. Very helpful and polite!

5 star service from Matt... What a nice guy and helpful member of staff. He was funny, and super helpful from start to finish. It makes such a difference dealing with someone with a bit of character and such a friendly manner when dealing with customers. Thanks Matt..

Spear and Jackson recommended we can buy a rechargeable battery for our hedge trimmer in Wickes our nearest store Bournemouth. It was the worst customer service we experienced from an olderly man accused of language communication and not wanting to help as he made it clear he wanted to go for his lunch break. He told us to go to Christchurch branch.
What a difference in customer service? The young guy "Matt" he was such a breath of fresh air. He couldn't do enough to help us . I asked if we try the battery on our charger, nothing was too much for him. It definitely worth to travel a few extra miles to get to Christchurch Wickes in future but never set foot in Bournemouth store again after the awful customer service.

We were very unsure about how to design our new kitchen but Lou talked us through the whole process and was supportive when ever I changed my mind about something or had an attack of nerves.
We were updated all through the process and everything arrived on time.
David, our fitter, was very helpful and did a first class job.
I'm delighted with the final kitchen and completely recommend Wickes.

Our designer was Lou Ingram and she was just amazing. Everything was precision designed, exactly how we wanted it and she even had super innovative ideas to fit round our awkward spaces. Everything is just beautiful, can't thank her enough.

Wickes as a company are atrocious, definitely avoid unless you're working with Lou. In the brief period she was on leave everything fell apart. The fitter didn't even get in touch for 2 months, after wanting literally 3x what our local fitter charged when we gave up and booked him instead. The worktop didn't arrived (Lou's replacement didn't order it and Wickes customer service to this day haven't once replied). I actually hired a van and drove half the length of the country to collect the worktop in the end!

Lou was chasing for us while on holiday in New Zealand even. When she was back everything was seamless, understandable things like damages etc sorted within days. We even threw her a little thank you tea party. The woman is holding the company together and we can't thank her enough for all she did for us.

Massive complaint on the way to Wickes generally for their disgraceful treatment of customers. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Just assembled the kitchen from Wickes Christchurch they were incredibly helpful finding me what I needed and the installation process was smooth and probably the favourite kitchen I’ve done yet. The staff were amazing and friendly.

The kitchen I bought from you is almost finished being dirt and it looks fab.

Big shout out to Paul Roberts of Christchurch Wickes. He went the extra mile to sort out our order and deal with delivery issues

Paul Roberts was efficient, knowledgeable and understood exactly what we needed. His responses to our queries and amendments were extremely prompt.

Katrina was amazing at designing our kitchen and we are so pleased with it! She really understood what we were hoping for. There were some issues around delivery but Wickes did work hard to resolve this. Overall we are very happy with our experience with Wickes

We have just brought a house and needed a new family bathroom and downstairs loo and didn’t have a clue where to start, we came in and saw Charmaine who was amazing and knowledgeable. She helped design are small family bathroom in budget and while we were discussing our ideas she would explain why some were not the best options then would recommend something else and explain its benefits which was great to us. Nothing was to much trouble for her even when we were changing our minds and wanted to see other options, it was great to see the plans which was a massive help to us to visualise how it would look. We would 100% recommend the design service to anyone and we will be back next year when it’s time to do the kitchen.

I had a very frustrating experience with Wickes, whereby I wanted some fence posts. These were showing in my local store stock online but it would not let me order them. I visited the local store who said I could order them there for delivery but then they could not order them either. They did not attempt to find any solution and just said they couldn't order them and that was that. In fact, the person serving me didn't even ask if I wanted anything else. She moved on to the next person. When I wrote a complaint about this, I first got a response to advice but as I haven't given information it would be closed; and then when I responded that they had all the information on the exact email chain, I got a response that didn't even reply to my points and just told me to check stock online! Genuinely do not think their customer service is fit for purpose at this point. I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

My local Wickes is always clean and tidy, staff are friendly, they allow dogs (mines an assistance dog), and when I can't find something they're always available, willing and helpful.
They carry a good range, the click and collect is simple, and I always feel like a valued customer.

Lovely to meet Katrina. Looking forward to her design and ideas for the bathroom and kitchen.

Had our kitchen designed by Katrina at Christchurch and we are so pleased with the planning and specific features she put in to suit us and make our kitchen special. Also pleased with David the fitter who worked so hard to achieve an excellent finish. The support was also available to us at any time.

Brilliant service from the kitchen team! Experienced and friendly throughout and our designer, Katrina, was excellent with suggestions for our space. The offer on the kitchens was amazing too.
Would 100% recommend!

We are really disappointed with Wickes, had them out for design of our bathroom which was fine. Follow up appointment was also fine selecting the goods we wanted. 3 hours later given a price which again was fine, advised the best way to move forward was with finance with a 20% deposit which we were happy with. Finance was declined, so hence the whole amount including fitting had to be paid up front, even though there was five months to wait. Sorry no, we would have no come back if back as no guarantee of workmanship or delivery.
Basically then they didn’t want to know us and destroyed all of our choices from the folder, definitely won’t be returning. This bathroom was over £15000 which we didn’t need finance for, but also didn’t want to pay full amount up front with no guarantee.

We've had our kitchen and shower rooms designed and installed, as well as purchased a number of individual inits. The design service has been excellent and the products have lasted well. Will use them for future projects.

Bought some bulky timber today and delivery was only £4. Also their website was not crammed full of products they dont stock like B&Q, where i can never find what is actually in their shop so I now never visit.
Since switching to Wickes have never had a problem and it is usually cheaper. Never usually leave a review but am damned impressed

The service Matt Burridge gave me was really so good. He was polite, attentive, helpful, friendly, honest... all one could need. He made every effort to go the extra mile to help a customer, even measuring the height of my old (broken and rusty) ladder for comparison. Thank you very much Matt!
